The location is great for exploring Astoria and the room itself is nice and updated. I also liked the availability of a kitchen and extra snacks.

The fan in my room didn't work and there was no AC, so my room was pretty hot. This was in complete contrast to the lobby and common areas, which were freezing thanks to the nice AC there.

I like everything about this Inn. There is no staff at the property, you open Inn and your room with a code. Any question I had I send via message and I got response immediately. Room was specious and clean, very high ceiling. No AC but it was really not needed at all. Little fan is so cute, washroom so nice and clean. Complimentary water is much appreciated. Bad was so amazing, we LOVE the bed. Social space can be useful for having a meal or play games. Location is great. Parking was full but there was few spots on the street to park for free. Really everything was great, and I didn't give 10 only because it is not like 5 stars hotel... but we will be coming back again and I highly recommend this Inn.

Very clean! Nice hang out area with cards and games to play. A very nice kitchen. Easy to check in with a code. Bathroom was very nice with a nice shower. Bed was very comfortable! Nice and quiet and had a really good nights sleep. Was super close to Blue Scorcher for breakfast and coffee and Fort George Brewery for some drinks and dinner. Was walking distance to all downtown. Perfect location.

The standard queen room we got was very very small. If I was staying for more than one night I would have wanted a bigger room. The bed took up the whole room and there wasn't much room on either side of the bed for luggage or anything else. There was a fan provided but it was a bit muggy and hot in the room. I would get the deluxe king or queen next time if they were available. Seemed a bit pricy for the size of the room, but it is super busy tourist season on the coast so you pay the price.

I loved the public areas ~ especially the kitchen, which was super clean, & had excellent amenities, including a great kettle, an excellent toaster oven, & a spacious refrigerator. Plus, there were decaf tea selections, which I truly appreciated. The bathroom in my room was terrific & the shower was luxurious. I loved the toiletries dispensers & the lightly-fragranced products. The wooden hangers in my room were of high quality & very solid. The USB ports were excellent ~ very fast & conveniently placed. The self check-in & the code locks on all the doors were easy & convenient. The staff were very sweet & friendly. I also liked the neon sign in the front lobby.

There were a couple of design flaws in my room. The bathroom door was really awkward & always in the way ~ I really wanted it to be a pocket or barn door, or at least a bi-fold. The sink needed to be either bigger or closer to the edge of the counter. So much water splashed out, I started to suspect it was leaking. More hooks & shelves would have been really helpful. I ended up getting a chair from the lounge just to have a place to set things. The window in my room felt really unsafe, as it faced the front door at ground level. I wanted to leave it open overnight for the great air, but was afraid to do so. I would have liked to have a decaf coffee option.

The location was perfect, easily walkable to downtown restaurants, etc. It was great having on site parking. The room was quite small but it was fine for us and our dog. It wasn't air-conditioned which probably isn't usually an issue in Astoria but was while we were there. The fans that were provided did an adequate job. The fact that everything from booking to check-in and check-out are done virtually is quite easy but feels a bit cold and impersonal. I did not need to call their customer service line so I don't know how responsive they would have been.

The lack of human interaction

Great location only a couple of blocks to downtown. A wonderful bakery and brewery are a block away. We walked to the Astoria Column. It is only a mile but it is ascending the whole way. We very much appreciated they have a dedicated locked bike storage closet. We had just completed the Trans America route from Yorktown, VA to Astoria and it was great to know our tandem was secure. We also liked both the kitchen and common areas. Everything was really comfortable. Larry, the owner gave me rags and let me use the hose to clean my bike.

The only negative in our room was that because it was designed for ADA wheelchair access, the shower was open and thus the floor got wet around the shower area. This was not a big deal to us (lots of hotels in Europe are designed this way). Larry told me the Inn has only been open a year or so. Two of the rooms are designed this way and some things are still a “work in progress”. It is something he plans to address over time. He has converted the building from a former medical facility to the Inn and has done a great job. I really commend Larry and his team. We would absolutely stay here again when in town.

The room was tidy and clean, with ample space for three people (one on a fold-out sofa in the main room, two in a separate room), the bathroom was clean and functional, well lit (great back-lit vanity!), good water pressure, pull-down blinds that block most of the light from outdoors, very good a/c, and ample free parking. But the best part was it's a mere half a block from a very good brewpub/restaurant, with a myriad of other bars/restaurants right nearby, as well as a healthy breakfast choice just round the corner. The facility doesn't look like a traditional hotel and if you're not looking for the somewhat small and stylised sign on the front of the building, you might miss it. I'm growing used to the lack of interaction with staff and the whole booking/check-in bidness being done online and via text. I did have an incidental reason to ring the provided telephone line and the person at the other end was helpful in resolving my single solitary issue, that of my not looking hard enough to notice the place in front of my face on the other side of the street. A blinding flash of the obvious ;)

A scan little thing, but not a single tea bag available in-room for non-coffee drinkers.

Genius repurposing of a former dental office! All the details and amenities were top notch. Fun and welcoming vibe. Really feels like they enjoy making things comfortable for guests. Access to a kitchen and lounge really makes it feel homey. The location and parking can’t be beat for wandering around the best part of town. The bathroom was perfect. Tall shower, clean and fairly large for the room size. We also liked the room fan and opening the window for air. Really helped keep the small room from getting stuffy. Even though we were by an entrance on the first floor, it was quiet enough and we even had a view! Really enjoyed our stay.

Weeeeeellllll, I kind of felt the ghosts of dental patients of the past. There was a slight dentist office odor but my husband just said it’s cleanliness. Nevertheless, I got used to it. The only other thing was that the room was a bit small for two of us. But again, we got used to it. All we needed was a bed to sleep in, bathroom, and tv to chill. The room had it all.

The facilities were nice and the staff was all virtual and easy to contact. Nice area and neighborhood and close to seaside. Great price. Clean, modern, minimalistic.

No notice about ice machine missing or how parking works. Doors were sticky but when we tried to clean them it seems it's the paint not dirt. The common kitchen area was nice but no freezer and the stir stick melted in my coffee. This was our first stay here so a better first time guest video or verbal overview or orientation would have been good.

This hotel was very clean and fresh. Nice decor. Unique layout of building. Location great for walking. Had a nice common space kitchen with full size fridge, air fryer, microwave and good counter space. Some utensils too.

Rooms very small. Pretty much just a bedroom. Not much privacy because window coverings were only for the evening (no shear coverings) so if you wanted them up during the day everyone who passed by could see in. The place has the feel of an apartment building which wasn’t bad just not our preference.
