Nice property. Great location to Main Street and all of the shops and tasting rooms. Nicely appointed hotel. Very clean and large rooms. Most of staff was great - a few are a little stand offish.

The hotel has great common space - lots of places to sit and relax. But NO ambiance. We came in early evening and the place felt dead. No music. Lighting was too bright. Then we went to the restaurant bar area and the same thing. A fire in the fire place would have been nice. Dimmer lights would have been nice and while we heard music, it was super low so we could barely hear - a tease really! The weather is turning cooler so not sure why they don't want to cozy up the place! Funny enough, in the morning when I came down for a cup. of coffee they had the music on and a fire going in the entry room from the parking lot and while the lights were up, it was ok because it was daytime. This hotel is so nice but it could be so much nicer/cooler with very little effort!

I love the history of the hotel, and the lobby was lovely.

The room was extremely plain and mediocre compared to the lobby and the photos I saw on line, we must have had a value room maybe? very simple and sparse, but the main issue was the bathroom, there was no where to set our things. I think it was an "accessible" room? we are not in need of that - no wheelchairs in our party.

There was minimal effort put into the "free and included" breakfast buffet. I have had no worse at a Holiday Inn express. The historic portion of the hotel was nice. The staff at check in was great and helpful. I wish the morning checkout group was as welcoming.

The bar staff had a nice time visiting with guests, the only other table in the room. However I sat without even getting eye contact from the barman or waitstaff for over ten minutes. I guess I would not expect this with 3 people serving two tables.

We ate dinner and breakfast there, very good and had excellent servers that were very attentive, knowledgeable and personable.

Thought the bathroom was very small and hard to maneuver in, toilet was extremely low and wondered why when the rooms were redecorated why higher toilets weren’t put in. Also grab bars would be nice to get in and out of the tub/shower.

This place is AWESOME. The minute you walk in, it is breathtaking in its vintage beauty. One you are done ogling the lobby, the people at the front desk are AMAZING. Everyone we talked to there was super helpful, but shout out to the hotel manager who personally checked me in and offered me an upgrade to the best fricking suite in the hotel at only a slight upcharge (because the hotel was pretty empty, as we were there during Christmas). He was also kind enough to get us a bunch of free wine and distillery tastings, and also directed us to the nearby downtown and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot breakfast on the daily was pretty decent. We also ate at the restaurant one night and it was delicious, and the service was TOP. NOTCH. The room was HUGE and clean and comfortable. Everything about our stay was 100% amazing and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Nothing, really. If I have to say something negative, it's maybe that I wish there was slightly more variety for breakfast? Like maybe more protein choices?

The location in the center of Walla Walla’s retail core makes it easy to walk to wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The classic lobby decor and high ceilings are a great setting for late afternoon wine tastings. My newly redecorated room was attractive and generous. The staff are very hospitable and helpful.

Late scheduling on a busy weekend left me with high room rates.

Really enjoy staying at this Hotel. Not only are their wine shops within the hotel, we were able to walk right into lovely downtown and enjoy many other wineries, breweries, and shops. So the location is excellent. Also loved the fact that our room did not have carpet but was hardwood-like flooring and very clean! The breakfast was great and the lounge area in the back of the restaurant was perfect for a great nightcap. The hotel also has many areas in the reception location where patrons can congregate and lounge, playing piano, having conversations, it lends itself very well to a traveler's community.

This is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Walla Walla. It's pet friendly and has a nice restaurant/bar. Unfortunately, we were just staying the night and didn't really get a chance to spend a lot of time at the hotel. We'll definitely stay there again on our next trip to Walla Walla where hopefully we'll spend a few days!

Quiet…..fast elevators. Cleanliness and abundance of sitting rooms. Excellent location

Unable to contact directly after check out. Left my fast charger in the room and spent hours trying to speak to a person directly. If you didn’t save your booking number near impossible. Frustrating

Insisting that you "register for a table" when you are taking food to your room by an officious staff person was awkward; then as it turned out there was nothing for us to eat except for potatoes and monkey bread? Oatmeal would have been nice, some fresh fruit, e.g. apples, bananas would have been nice (instead of that packaged stuff). Not all of us eat animals and sugar for breakfast. Good thing we brought some of our own food. A microwave in the room would have been a helpful addition. Oh and the coffee mugs in our room had to be handwashed to remove residue from dishwasher (?)
