Ruth the asst. manager and all the staff are awesome. We travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels. We have stayed at the Marriotts in the Morgantown area quite a bit and I would choose this hotel, before I choose a Marriott property again. Marriotts want too much money, their staff thinks more of being on their cell phones, than their guests, maintenance of their properties and the cleanliness of their hotels, don’t even compare to this property’s. Rooms are very clean, great prices, great maintenance upkeep and very friendly people, that work at this hotel. Kudos to the housekeeping staff and Ruth and her staff, at the front desk.

More parking spaces upfront near the hotel. Someone pulling a trailer took up 4 places, when 4 separate vehicles could have parked there. They told us at the front desk, that doors lock after a certain time, because there is not a 24 hour front desk person. I understand that’s how this hotel operates and I was ok with that, but on our last night there (Saturday night), I was coming back in after midnight and the front entrance door was not locked and I walked right on in, without using my room key for entry. Not sure if you all would call that a security issue, since the front desk and the hotel, does not have a 24 hour front desk person.

Pros: I liked how updated it was. It felt safe. The front desk staff was great! The lady that helped me check in told me that they lock the doors at 9:30, and to use an alternate key card only door if we came or left. It felt really safe. She also gave us a snack pack with popcorn, which was very nice. The room was also really clean.

Cons: I was woken up at 3:45 am from the people above us. It ruined the trajectory of my whole day. I know it’s not the hotels fault. I don’t think it was the other patrons fault either. When you walk, it felt like the whole room shook. It’s impossible to walk normally without it sounding like stomping. It’s also a little hard to find. It’s behind a few other businesses and the road isn’t clearly marked. Signage on the main road would help.

Very clean, very comfortable pillows and bed. I love that you get a text from them after check in offering anything you may need, as well as other info about your stay. The place smelled amazing! The desk ladies were great. Would definitely recommend.

We were on the 3rd floor and you can hear the walking above you. I'd just request the top floor.

The room was nice and clean with a small kitchen, great if you are staying a bit longer or planning on cooking in instead of going out. They also were very helpful and friendly when I needed to adjust my reservation.

It was a bit tricky to find in the back of a huge parking lot. The parking lot was a bit wonky because of hilly terrain, but was in good condition.

Was pleased there was a full kitchenette in the room. I saw it in the pictures, but still didn't think a regular double room would have it. Also, beds were super comfortable. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating with getting us a phone charger we had forgotten.

A breakfast would've been nice.

It is situated away from the main road with a steep hillside on 2 sides and no buildings directly beside it so outside noise is minimal. Building is well maintained. Close to everything a traveler needs - fast food, grocery store/pharmacy, convenience stores. It was a good value compared to other hotels in Morgantown that night.

Very minor: The street to get to it seems more like the parking lot for another business in front of it. I thought I went the wrong way. But then again I think that keeps away people with no business at the hotel.

I liked the kitchen at in the cooktop and the fact that it was really clean and a spacious bathroom

I did not like that some of the residents that stay there on a more permanent basis. Would congregate. Outside? It. Meet us uncomfortable... Also the room smelled too strongly like air freshener... And our window didn't open up white enough

Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful!! The bed was amazingly comfy!!

The first room we were assigned to smelled really bad of greasy fried foods... but they graciously gave us another room that was very clean and smelled very clean !!! Thank-you!!

Staff was very pleasant that checked us in ..room was so clean , had everything you would need .Our room was close to elevator on 2end floor no noise ..

By evening key card wouldn't work but in less time then I could go to desk staff was right there to assist..so really nothing I didn't like

We love the location of this hotel, and it was the third time we have stayed here to drop off or pick up our son from WVU. It's nice that it is in a quiet area, and everything has been clean and has gone as expected with each of our stays.

I wish there was a pool at the hotel, but it's worth the sacrifice of the pool for the cleanliness of the property.
