Location and breakfast were the absolute best!! Hearty hot breakfast and in seconds you are back on the main road. When we checked in the lady was lovely and so helpful. Suggested the mexican family restaurant and it was incredible!!

Traffic noise was loud, but was expected. Did not expect young people to be riding back in forth in the parking lot for hours; revving the engines etc. Kitchen attendant (older female, short blonde hair) was not happy to be there and made that clear. Asked a question; grunted response. No smiles here or desire to interact even to say good morning.

We loved everything about this place. Everyone of the staff members that we came in contact with was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Jen was super awesome. I was talking to her one night and she gave me the courage to talk to my man then I had been with for 16 years. We booked another night at this wonderful establishment and got married the next day! Thank you Jen you are the best! I am so very thankful out of all the places to choose from we chose this place. Highly highly recommend you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much to all the staff.

I liked just about everything. I had a couple of complaints ...kinda. There was carpet in the halls and in our room. I would have preferred wood floors instead of carpet in the halls and the room when it is a pet friendly hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised that there was no bad odor even though there were lots of stains on the hall carpets.

The carpet in the halls were stained but surprisingly did not smell bad. Also the dog walk area is a small area in the back of the hotel and on an incline hill which made it hard to walk my dog. I was also very surprised that the rooms were carpeted being that it is a pet friendly hotel. I like the wood floors when I bring my pet. The room did not smell bad at all though.

The friendliness, fast easy check in and the food was fantastic! The location was great for getting around to different things. We were able to park close to our room which was great. It was really nice to have a refrigerator and microwave to work with. It was very quiet and peaceful for sleeping. The hot tub was nice to use after whitewater rafting and being a little chilly from the water.

The toilet in our bathroom did not flush well at all. It took at least two flushes to empty the bowl.

Breakfast was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Room seemed to be freshly painted, which was nice. TV was good. Nothing really to complain about.

Location was OK...the parking lot that the hotel fronts on is noisy all night, but that's not the hotel's fault. They actually put our room on the parking lot side thinking it would be quieter than on the roadside, but sadly it wasn't. As I said, not their fault, especially when you stop for the night beside the highway.

Close to highway, easy access. Staff friendly on all shifts. Updated lobby and rooms with nice decor. Clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a room facing away from highway, which was good as our room was quiet. Good quantity of breakfast items, both warm and cool items. If you need any supplies for your trip there is a mall behind, and restaurants. Pet friendly. Booked because of other positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. Will definitely stay here again.

Outside looked ok. Parking lot worn. Looked like a tired budget hotel. However, inside was updated, clean and a pleasant surprise.

The hotel was a very nice stay to explore the New River Gorge Area. It was 20 minutes out from the main visitor center and some of the best trails were just a bit further out. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice. The bathroom was clean, good water pressure. Hotel rooms can either face the highway or a parking lot for a strip mall, so either way the room wont be very quiet but the strip mall side is a bit quieter. The pool was a nice addition.

There was no crib available for our 2-year-old. We brought our own but would be good to have one on site. Breakfast would benefit from more sustainable stuff (paper plates, compostable utensils, paper cups for hot drinks) as they are not that much more expensive.

The location was perfect, the rooms clean, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was adequate.

We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the elevators and the hallway carpets. There were large amounts of fingerprints and smears of questionable substances on the doors and buttons of the elevators. The hallway carpets were horribly stained and in desperate need of cleaning. Thank goodness the room cleanliness did not reflect the hallways and elevators. The rooms were very clean and comfortable

BREAKFAST WAS PERFECT!!!SAUSAGE,EGGS, BISCUITS N GRAVY, POTATOES,PANCAKES,CEREALS,BAGELS,YOGURTS,GRITS AND ALL THE FIXINS....... INDOOR POOL!! WOULD'VE ENJOYED THE HOT TUB BUT WASNT WORKING TIME OF OUR STAY!

HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING AND WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT...INDOOR POOL WAS VERY NICE AND WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE THE ONLY ONES IN POOL BOTH TIMES WE CHOSE TO SWIM..WE LOVED THAT!! WE ALSO WOULD'VE ENJOYED AN OUTDOOR POOL TOO !

Comfortable bed and nice sized room. Only staff member we interacted with was a nice man at the front desk. Breakfast was good, lots of choices, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, toast, oranges/apples, cereal, yogurt, pancake machine. Location is next to a strip mall, but overall felt safe. Our room faced the mall and it was quiet at night. I think the other side of the hotel would be louder facing the interstate. Gas station right next door. Great pit stop location.
