The location was good. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area, and there are good choices for food and libations nearby. The Hotel Bar was great, as was the wait staff/bartender. I was impressed with the price of the room, and of the restaurant/bar/coffee shop.

There wasn't much to complain about... if anything, it could be easier to adjust the temperature in the rooms. I got it to where I could be comfortable, but I'm not sure that I ever figured out the 'system'.

The location is great in the center of a pretty historic town. the history of the place is great and it was very clean. I would repeat the stay.

I felt the bar and restaurant could have been open until 10:00. I got in after an 7.5 hour drive and by the time I got into the room and settled it was too late. Over all the experience there was still great and I was able to find someplace to go eat and catch a cocktail.

Breakfast was not part of our stay, but the lobby and entry area was gorgeous. Our room was very elegant too. The staff was outstanding. Sparkling chandeliers and granite floors made you feel like you were in a palace.

I had requested that the room not have any feather or down pillows/comforters as I am deathly allergic to them. When we arrived in the room, it had 3 down feather pillows. A call to the front desk, and a bit of running from one excellent employee and we were able to get replacements. We were so grateful!

No breakfast provided, must be purchased and by 9 am the little shop was already out of the one thing I wanted...bagels.

After reading my review I am amending it as we loved the appearance of everything...my husband just marveled at the shiny marbel-like floors! The bed was very comfortable the furniture nice. Especially enjoyed having TV in footboard of bed..

Location

The Lounge did not have a TV, and the NFL Playoffs were on. Also it closed at 9 :00 pm. I also did not like the overhead rain shower in the bathroom, but it was valuable because I am remodeling my own bathroom and was thinking of installing one of these myself. It certainly helped me to decide, so actually, this ended up being a blessing.

Gorgeous property, extremely well preserved historic building with great amenities, comfortable rooms and beds, very clean, easy parking, perfect location and great staff. Pet friendly, made my pup feel a home. Lots of restaurants nearby along with restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel. Close to the lake.

Stunning and more than I expected

I was exhausted at check-in and they had a slight computer problem. No one’s fault it just took a little longer to check in the normal and I can’t even complain about that but if you’re looking for something wrong and I have to write something here that would be it.

Very nice hotel in center of downtown. Coffee shop , bar and nice restaurant in the hotel lobby which is a plus East checkin and check out

Rooms slightly smaller sized compared to other places I have stayed at Parking garage isn’t attached and is a bit of walk from hotel

Hotel is beautiful and well maintained with free parking garage attached. Bar was lovely and lively and restaurant menu looked great (didn't get to eat there). Coffee shop was super nice to have on site..

Just the cramped-ness of the bathroom half doors still blocking the entry door.

This is a quaint lovely restored facility which sparkles. The staff are extremely pleasant and responsive. Much attention to detail has been given. Very comfortable and beautiful inside.

The confines of the structure limit the room designs, ours was a bit odd to use the closet and the doors into the bathroom but not the worst.
