A charming hotel, staying in it is perfectly in harmony with the beauty of the town. A great, varied breakfast from a thousand and one nights. Helpful staff. Since they had available, we could choose between two rooms, thanks. High-quality, snow-clean bedding and towels, all made of cotton. Excellent location, taxi can stop outside the door, short walk to monuments of Bukhara.
Refrigerator in room no. 12 is very! loud at night. I solved this by unplugging it. But this is not a solution, it must be repaired or replaced with a new one.

Staying here was being a part of history....quite literally, as it's a historical building. So many beautiful areas located all around the hotel, and not just the bedrooms themselves. The staff were very attentive, Komil was a very gracious host, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast spread superb, and it was literally a 5-minute walk from where the Old Town begins.
2 minor points: the wifi was very spotty in my room, but I think that was because I was on the periphery of the hotel, since it worked just fine in the central areas. Also, the last few hours I was there, there emitted a strange odour from the bathroom, which may have been caused by the construction next door.

Location was pretty good, not too far to walk to the main sites. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choices and plenty of local dishes. Bedrooms really beautifully decorated and the property oozes charm and character. Also possible to eat in restaurant for lunch and dinner if requested. Manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond.
Rooms were rather overheated with underfloor heating but the manager was able to reduce the heat when requested.

The hotel is visually stunning and it is an honour to stay there. Breakfast is elaborate and varied. The owner and staff are warm, accommodating and hospitable. Unfortunately whilst in Bukhara I fell down some stairs and twisted my ankle. I would like to personally thank the reception staff for their kindness and care. The night staff ordered food for me as I couldn’t walk to go out and Shakhzod, in the day reception made sure breakfast was carried down and I was looked after. A special mention to the lovely Erkaoi who made me feel so loved and taken care of. She personally took care of my ankle and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed to recover. She truly is a sweet Angel. I can’t thank them enough and am very grateful for their care. I 100% recommend staying here with these lovely people who genuinely care about their guests and view their roles with pleasure rather than profit. Truly exceptional experience.

I was looking for a place with a history, a culture and an identity, and I found it in Komil. Room decorated with a unique style as well as the dinibng room and the whole beautiful 19th century building. If you are looking for style, refinement and enhancement of the local area from an architectural point of view, you are in the right place. Staff always courteous and ready to help. I have traveled to more than 70 countries so I have experience around the world.

The location is right in old town and only a few minutes walking distance to main tourist attractions. The room designs are beautiful. We were given four room options, which I thought was very nice of the hotel staff to do. The owner was very kind and took the time to speak with us whenever he had an opportunity. The hotel also offers home-cooked lunch or dinner, massage services, tour options, and activities to do during your stay at Bukhara.
We were given four room options, and we opted for a room in the old part of the hotel. We liked everything, but the smell of sewage whenever you flush the toilet or use the shower. The shower area is also a little cramped, which may be difficult for taller individuals. When showering, it is easy for water puddles to build up due to the structure of the shower area. Lastly, I noticed that one of the screws on the handle of our bedroom door was loose.

This boutique hotel is a gem on the Silk Road that turns your stay into a fairy tale. Young and old from our family were delighted with the interior and felt very comfortable thanks to the delicious and very varied breakfast, the attentive staff and the comfortable furnishings. There is a wide range of services (e.g. massage in the room, hammam trip) and the owner fulfills your every wish (changing rooms, rearranging beds). A small damage in the bathroom was repaired in the blink of an eye. Hospitality doesn't get any better than this.
Nothing really.

Komil’s ancestral home has been converted into one of the most lovely properties I’ve stayed at. It’s a small, efficient, clean and comfortable stay with the facilities of a hotel but the vibe of ones home. They offer a clean room and bathroom, good breakfast and great ambience. We found it good value for money. It is located in the old town, a minutes walk from all the sights that you would have on your list. Komil and his staff are great hosts and make every effort to make sure you have everything you need. I would come back and stay at Komils place when I visit Bukhara again.

Really nice location, architecture and atmosphere in the hotel is really fascinating. you could see the effort put in the hotel. Nicely traditionally decorated rooms.
We stayed there for 1 night instead of 2 booked because the hotel were overbooked and the owner of the hotel wrote us about that in the evening before the check-in day. I was really upset and shocked. But eventually he booked for us a hotel nearby within the same price range and gave us a better room for the second night. It really upsets me that I didn't get a full experience I expected and planned in several months in advance.

The Komil was the most well-established hotel we stayed in during our trip to Uzbekistan (many other hotels have been established within the last 3-5 years), and it showed. Rooms were clean and well-appointed, and (as you can see in the photos) the hotel is beautiful. Pros: - Helpful staff. Staff was present and available to help with any need, and we were even kindly given a choice between many different rooms when we checked in (as things were quiet that morning, we were shown 5-6 rooms, and got to choose – all were beautiful and there were no wrong choices) - Excellent location. Walking distance from Bukhara's old town, but also easily accessible by taxi making venturing into the newer parts of the city very easy - Best breakfast we experienced in UZ Cons: - A larger hotel than many of the other, more 'homestay-like' properties in the area. This isn't necessarily a con, but just a consideration, as it also lends an air of professionalism
