This hotel has really great and helpful staff. They recommended and booked day tours and transfers for me. The hotel and room met my expectations. The room was nice and quiet. No street noise or noise from other guests. The pool was great which is why I booked the hotel.

Like all hotels in Hoi An you need to catch an inexpensive grab motorbike or car into the old town. There is little in the way of markets and restaurants close by, so again a taxi. This is really not a big deal. So less of a negative statement about the hotel and more of what you will expect from most Hoi An hotels.

December Hoi An Villa was the best place we have stayed in on our trip so far. Right from booking the staff were very friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent. They arranged a private transfer from Da Nang station for a much better price than Grab and kept the driver informed when the train was delayed. They made us very welcome on arrival and although we were early allowed us to rest by the pool until our room was ready. They advised us of trips and activities available and how to visit the historic town independently. We were interested in visiting Ba Na Hills resort. They had details of a guided tour but when we asked they were able to book a driver for the day so we could visit independently and for 4 people that was cheaper and more flexible. It was my daughters 16th birthday during our stay and they celebrated that with us. The villa is in a quiet area and it was easy and cheap to get a taxi into town using Grab or to cycle. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, furnished well and spotlessly clean and air conditioning was excellent. The pool was a delight and available until 930pm so we could cool down at the end of the day. The bicycles were in good condition and they were happy for us to take them all day. We did a tour through rice fields to An Ban and another beach and back along the river using Komoot app for inspiration and navigation. We had a fantastic three days here and were sad to leave.

+ We have to say we did enjoy every moment at this lovely villa. The room is so spacious and well maintain, everything you could wish for was provided. The breakfast is fresh-made and delicious, you must try their banana pancake, it is truly make your day :d Some people say it is a bit far from the Old Quater but for us the location is perfect. It is not only keep yourself away enough from the hustle and bustle of the center but also close enough to everything you need (convenient store, coffee shop, restaurant...). After all, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They provided lots of useful advice and arranged cars and tickets to various destinations. A wonderful place to stay and I shall definitely go back and stay when I go back to beautiful Hoi An. Thank-you so much. - Nothing. The property is amazing.

One of the best services in Hoi An. The hospitality of the hosts was genuinely warm. The complimentary breakfast came with a free choice of buffet and all the dishes were really nice. The pool was so calming and well maintained. We were in a relaxing week because everything was taken care of by the hosts. The welcome drink along with the map and highlights of Hoi An was really helpful. The rooms were spacious and exactly like in the picture. They provide free bicycles for us to roam around. Whatever we requested, they were rewarded with the best treatment.

The service from the staff was exceptional. Worth the visit for their tips about Hoi An wether that was restaurants and cafes, where to get clothes made, where to get a massage or for onward travel - they were super helpful! Amazed at how good the facilities (swimming pool, changing room and shower for early check-in) and staff were for the very reasonable price. Breakfast also very good included in room rate - mix of “western” and local options, both tasty. Would highly recommend staying here as a reasonably valued “treat” if travelling on a budget in Vietnam.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They organized a sightseeing tour and a cooking class which was pretty good. The room was super clean and comfortable. Also the bathroom was big and separated to the sleeping room. Highly recommended.

The location was not very suitable if you like to be in old town. It was a walk of 20-25min and especially in mid day heat it‘s pretty tough. The good thing is that you can rent a bicycle for free (5-7min to old town) or a motorbike (don’t know the price). For the lazy people you can also use a grab which is super cheap in the city!

Staff, service, spacious room, super comfy bed. December Hoi An Villa made our trip in Hoi An even more special. The staff Linh and Tranh are super friendly and helpful. They made sure that you are well taken care of. We loved Hoi An but it was the people like them that made the charming town even more special. Highly recommended!

Nothing. The location is about two kilometres from the old town but it wasn’t an issue as one can ride a bike (provided for free by the hotel) and enjoy the ride to town. Given that it is not in the centre, it is also quiet, perfect for those wanting to chill.

This hotel is great value for money. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was good. location may not be ideal for walking however if you rent a scooter it’s perfect. Scooter rental available at the hotel. room was as pictured, clean and comfortable. Shower was hot, AC worked well. Mini fridge wasn’t as cold but not a deal breaker. overall, cleanliness of room and bathroom was good. room was also very spacious.

Room was a tad bit on the older side but honestly, it’s nothing major. if looking for a good budget hotel, this hotel has everything you need!

December Hoi An Villa was a wonderful find, and shares joint favourite of all our hotels after 3 weeks in Vietnam. The large room could not be cleaner or better equipped, with a kitchenette, balcony over the swimming pool and superb shower room. The staff, Linh and Nguyen (apologies if names wrong!) were out of this world, so fun, friendly and helpful, including booking our train tickets, taxi to Danang (45 minutes), giving us beach towels and advising on where to go. The slightly suburban location is a 10-minute cycle (provided) to downtown, but we found it interesting to see that side of Hoi An and is also well placed for - top tip - breakfast at the excellent 9 Grains bakery cafe at 411 (NOT 441 as it says in LP) Hai Ba Trung on the way into town. When we come back we will without doubt stay here again.

Nothing - it couldn’t be better!

Everything about this hotel and its staff and amenities. a small, compact but beautifully kept facility. clean and refreshing pool. well laid out design, apartment style rooms overlooking the pool, lots of greenery/plants. hosts amazing, very friendly, welcoming and helpful, speaking good english and happy to assist with any enquiries - special mention to Ginny on arrival and Tinh during our stay. free pushbikes to visit old town (20 minute ride) and An Nang beach. Staff were great in organising a day driver to Marble Mountain, Lady Buddha and Ba Na Hills.

We liked the location being slightly away from main centre and old town but some people may find it too far out if only walking or not confident on pushbikes. taxis are cheap though into centre.
