I recently had the privilege of experiencing an extraordinary getaway at the newly opened Wyndham HoiAn Royal Beachfront Resort and I am thrilled to share my thoughts about this amazing place. From the moment we arrived it was clear that the place was a sanctuary of luxury and serenity. First and foremost, the resort itself is a masterpiece of modern design and impeccable taste. The fact that it is brand new is immediately evident in every corner you explore. The architecture blends contemporary aesthetics with natural beauty, creating an atmosphere that is both invigorating and soothing. But the beauty of this paradise isn't confined to the outdoors – the facilities are equally as stunning. "State of the art" is an understatement when describing the amenities available to guests. The staff's commitment to ensuring our comfort was truly remarkable. They consistently went above and beyond, anticipating and attending to every need we had with genuine warmth and professionalism. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing insightful local recommendations, or accommodating special requests, the staff's dedication was truly amazing. It's rare to encounter such a level of personalized service that made me feel truly special. The restaurant by the ocean is a breathtaking setting in itself. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive. From the sumptuous pastries to the perfectly cooked eggs, every dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. If you come to Wyndham, prepare to be pampered, indulge in culinary excellence, and soak in the awe-inspiring beauty of the ocean while being attended to by a team that knows no bounds when it comes to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction. Tu at the front office, Hoa and Vien - made our stay at this hotel absolutely amazing, without the staff this hotel would not be what it is today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, this place was truly magical. Highly recommend It is clean amazing and the staff are wonderful

Everything. Is beyond perfect here

Great resort. Breakfast options couldn’t be better. In house dining also good. Happy hour down by the beach pool is fun and kids can have a play in the pool or on the grass. Recommend the seafood BBQ. Staff helpful and friendly Easy to get into town via the shuttle or a Grab

The pools in the villas ripped up our toes and other guests were also having the same issue. Then made it hard for kids to walk around Old Town Kids also wanted deeper pools in main area, it’s only 1.25m. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and the rooms have direct access to outside which isn’t ideal if you have little ones, you can’t hear if they need you and they need to come to you they have to go outside and use a card to get to you

Great pool and beach access

Still early days. We stayed in a 2 bedroom hotel room. The second bedroom had one bed for our daughters to share. We found the bedrooms a bit small especially with 4 suitcases. The kitchenette wasn’t finished. Small fridge no cutlery / microwave etc. the living area had room but wasn’t laid out the best. No TV in living area which would have been useful. Wasn’t cosy. The hotel doesn’t provide maps of local area which we have always found useful when staying somewhere new. We did have a relaxing time and am sure once the hotel is finished all the things I mentioned will be addressed.

We had an absolutely lovely time staying here! We stayed for 5 nights and we felt the food offered had enough variety to keep us from getting bored. It was also reasonably priced considering that it's a high end resort. Another highlight of the stay was the lovely staff members. Trang who works at the beachfront restaurant was a delight to talk to and she gave us great recommendations for local food to try when we went into Old Town. She was always checking in on us and making us feel very well taken care of, it really gave a personal touch to our stay! Also, we loved the happy hour at the beachfront bar and bartender Phi made us many delicious cocktails throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet had an extensive selection and in particular, one of the staff members Trang guided us through trying the different Vietnamese coffees they had to offer. We loved getting to taste a new one each morning! Finally, we also got great advice and help from the concierges working by reception who aided us in booking our train out of Hoi An and organising other transport needs such as to Old Town or the train station. We stayed during a very quiet time of year so there weren't many other guests but this wasn't really an issue for us because we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and it gave us great access to all of the facilities.

Though it's cheap and easy to get a taxi into Old Town (and doesn't take long), I would still only recommend staying here if your main interest is relaxing by a pool with a drink.

Facilities were super clean and modern. Everything seems high quality. Resort was beautiful!

It will be nice when construction is finished

The hotel is very nice, comfortable and new. The pool in front of the hotel is great for the kids and the parents, the pool in front of the beach is very chill. The beach is clean and private. Very nice. The staff is very friendly, specially Hue.

It is a very new hotel so still things are a little bit out of routine. But it has a lot of potential and I really recommend it for families. We would suggest some staff training in general and specially with how approach little kids. All people in Vietnam are nice and friendly, we live in Asia and we know they love little babies. We are a family of four with a 1 year baby and we found a little bit intense de attention paying to the baby, specially the continuously touching and approaching face to face very close by all the staff all the time.

We stayed in an a 2bdr apartment - the layout was spacious and it was very modern and clean. Loved the daily housekeeping and turndown service which kept the apartment spotless. Great options of pools. We loved the shallow 65cm pool for the kids with the small waterslide and also the beachfront pool. The beach was clean and the water clear. Lovely green space near the beach for the kids to run around. Loved the buggy service to get you around (it's actually not that big and just as fast to walk but the kids loved being able to ride in a buggy from the apartment to the beach every day). Location was perfect for us, away from the business of the city but only a 12min taxi into the heart of Hoi An. Great for relaxing pool and beachside and close enough into town for exploring.

Would have liked a few more vegetarian breakfast options but overall was very happy with the buffet selection.

• The hotel, room, and surroundings were extremely clean and visually pleasing. • There were many places to relax around the pools and beach area, offering appealing options. • Free bicycles were available for riding around the resort, making it convenient to access the beach. • The hotel provided a free and convenient shuttle service to and from the old town. • Breakfast offered a lot of choices. • Rooms were great and spacious. • Phú and Lily were especially helpful in assisting with shuttle bookings and providing excellent service.

• Hash browns were not available every day at breakfast. • The bathroom could use more hooks for hanging items.

Great hotel, not far from Hoi a town in a taxi or on the hotels shuttle bus. Some small slides in the pool and a play area for the kids. Also has a small kids club which can entertain the little ones on rainy days for an hour or two. ask Hien (guest relations for a recommendation) the food outside is much more tasty and value for money. Hien helped us to find a seafood restaurant and it’s some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Staff are incredibly friendly. Will likely return.

Breakfast is good but for other meals it is better to head to town . Beach restaurant is the same as the main restaurant and I think the food is sent down from the main kitchen.
