There was a problem with air conditioning in the room we booked so we got another one, which was much bigger and had a terrace. It’s a resort located in a calm rural area outside of Hoi An center and has enough facilities if you just want to hang out (pool, bar, spa, activities). If you want to go to the center or beach, they provide a complimentary shuttle bus and bikes. Extremely kind and attentive staff, especially ladies in the reception and the manager. They really tried to anticipate our every need, shared advice and added a personal touch to the interactions. Really good breakfast and a very nice massage in the spa.

Such a great place!!! Our room was the boat on the little lake and it was so wonderful! It was too good, in fact, that we didn't want to leave to go explore Hoi An. The grounds of the property were charming, the pool was relaxing and never over crowded, the wifi was fast and extended throughout the entire place, and the breakfast was phenomenal! The food and drinks prices were also very reasonable, and above all the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I wish I could have stayed there forever.

We absolutely loved our stay at the scenic Zest Resort & Spa Hoi An. Upon arriving the staff let us know, that the air conditioning in our booked room doesn't work and needs to be fixed. An alternative had already been prepared for us and we spent our first night in the beautiful and spacious garden villa that's situated right at the small lake. Already the next morning we were able to change to our booked room with balcony which was also very beautiful and super comfortable with a really, really nice bathroom. But the best thing about our stay was the people working there that gave us the warmest welcome, big smiles and the best service. Lovely Thuy and Thuong were constantly making sure that we had everything we needed, brought sunshine to our mornings and made us feel like home. Also the kitchen team was wonderful - always happy, super friendly and hard working. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The friendly cleaning staff kept rooms and the hotel spotless. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay in Hoi An.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Such a stunning setting, only a 10min taxi (£2.80~) drive to the Old Quarter. The room and especially the bed was huge. The bathroom was large with a free standing stone bath. The staff go above and beyond, and the breakfast was nice. The pool is large, and has an outside bar next to it. We booked a cooking class that the hotel run, and it was a fantastic experience. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, for us, it was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our two week trip around Vietnam.

Having to leave

I came to Vietnam on vacation for my birthday traveling alone from America. It was nice to be at a resort where I felt safe and well taken care of. Of all of the four and five star resorts I stayed at, Zest was my favorite. Thuy was a incredible host, she was very professional, thoughtful and on top of everything. She would be the perfect Manager if a position opened up or at least a significant raise would be in order. Zuay was such a nice young man as well, he even gave me a ride back to the resort when he saw me in town. Both young people went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special. There was a surprise birthday cake and warm greeting when I came back from a long day in old town, extra fan to keep me cool at night a gift certificate for a foot massage at the spa and homemade ginger tea in the morning to sooth my upset stomach. I stayed at the resort for about four days. It was very clean, well maintained with a incredible staff, including housekeeping. Thank you for making my birthday and stay special.❤️

This resort is perfect for a relaxing stay in Hoi An. An easy bicycle ride into the Old town or use the regular shuttle service. We stayed in the executive suite and it was amazing. Very large, full size fridge, 2 toilets and great outdoor seating including a little floating pier. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they booked cars and airport transfers at the same prices to everywhere else. Breakfast was delicious.

I didn’t like leaving

It was a lovely authentic Vietnamese resort. It was quiet and tucked away but the rooms boasted space and luxury with visitors from all over the world. All of the stuff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Some of their names were Thuy, Hoa, Y and Thuong. (I apologise for any spelling errors!). Each of them took their time to learn my name and knew I travelled with my best friend and her husband. It was incredibly cheap. I stayed for 8 nights, had food, drinks and spa treatments, plus a taxi to/from the airport organised with them, plus free shuttles to Hoi An ancient town and the beach! It was all for a very low $1k AUD. I spared no expense whilst I was there and was pleasantly surprised as you only have to pay the bill at the end. I couldn’t recommend this resort enough! It was an excellent stay and I would 100% stay again given the opportunity.

There was nothing to dislike! It was wonderful

A lovely Eden just far enough from the city center to relax and feel the local vibes. The staff is the loveliest we met and we won’t forget their smiles and willingness to help. The beds are comfortable and the buffet breakfast offers a nice variety for the price point. We did our laundry there and everything came back great with extra attention paid to the fragile items. The common areas and pool are lovely and make you love the jungle life within the boundaries of a small resort. We wish we’d stayed even longer to explore the area beyond Hoi An and more local cafes and workshops around the hotel. Make sure to check it out on Google maps.

Everything was great really. The only negative point would be the common areas are all without a/c and it may be difficult to cope with the heat. Also the a/c in our bedroom was a little weak and coming back from outside to a very warm room (removing your rooms card key turns it all off) is not always pleasant.

Zest Villas is an amazing unique oasis set in a lush palm tree environment by a river. The free shuttle bus takes you the approx 4km distance to Hoi An and to the beach. (Although Grab taxis are very reasonable too). We had 3 rooms. Our one was well appointed with comfy beds and outside space, which felt luxurious. My kids ( aged in their early twenties) had their own rustic cabin boat, which had lots of space and lovely views. The pool area was so lovely with plenty of sunbeds and towels. There was free use of bikes, which was great to see the local area. The service and staff were helpful and attentive and lovely.

The only area not receiving 5 out of 5 was the food and food service. As non meat eaters (we eat fish and vegetables), there were limited options. However, having high lighted this more options were made available.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. This was the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. It is very peaceful and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Upon check in one of the lovely ladies suggested we upgrade to a larger lakeside villa which we did because it was simply stunning - it was only £3 extra per person per night. There were loads of free facilities such as fishing and a shuttle bus that went to and from Hoi An old town and Hoi An beach. We got some treatments at the spa which was located on the lake - there was a special promotion happening while we were there! The spa was quite busy as a result but they managed to fit us in and all 4 of us got treatments at the same time which was so lovely. This resort is definitely a romantic destination but me and my girlfriends really enjoyed it, it was our favourite hotel out of 5 that we stayed at in Vietnam. I will be coming back with my partner in the future. You HAVE to stay here!
