Staff very friendly from reception staff to Chef, cleaners and manager Lilly. Always happy to advice and sell excursions. Hotel spotless, grounds immaculate bed comfy, room good size. Breakfast good, usual Asian food and omelette cooked fresh. The location is quiet. This was good for us as we wanted some chill out time by a pool as well as sightseeing. Taxi ride less than $1 each way via grab into the old town. Hotel had a shuttle but we didn't use as restricted on timings.

The sunbeds by the pool are very uncomfortable and the stools on the balcony in junior suite unusable to them being so uncomfortable. Would advise the owner to invest in some nice relaxing sunbeds to make this into a very nice comfortable hotel. There are no TV channels only netflix.

The moodhoian hotel's comes to life through the lovely and friendly care of the employees. We were greeted by the staff and supported in our needs. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel! The surrounding ricefields are lovely when you take the bike towards the citycentre and the afternoon food platter was nice as well. We enjoyed our stay!

For a hotel that it fully focussed around its pool and the river the main pitfall are the wooden deck/apron is not really, or really not safe for families with small kids, as well as the sharp edges of the pool which hurt both of our kids. Hopefully they'll change this because the rest is very nice. If you don't mind the pool area and mind the edges its very nice though.

2nd visit, total of 31 nights. We love the location, convenient to old town and the beach but in the rice fields. The location is great, the rooms are large and well appointed, very clean, all rooms have wonderful views of the river and countryside. Great spa, resort activities and buffet breakfast. The best reason t stay here is the warm, friendly, efficient staff who always try to make your stay memorable. Especially Ms Lily in the dining room, Ms Anna on reception, David and Henry in the bar and Ms Jennie in the spa. Well worth considering this option, you won’t be disappointed

We had to leave eventually

Our family group stayed for 7 nights and loved our stay. An easy check in despite arriving very late, we were made to feel very welcome. Staff really made an effort and it was appreciated. Special mention to Lily (Luyen) who had great recommendations and excelled in remembering our families likes and dislikes. We also made good use of the spa facilities most days and really recommend using Emily, Jenny and the others for treatments. Rooms were well cared for and had everything we needed. The common areas of restaurant and pool were great and service was always friendly. The resort is located out of old town which is what we wanted. It was easy to reach using Grab taxi's. Overall we have no hesitation in recommending this resort for a family holiday.

Friendly staff, great food, amazing apartment, amazing pool, surroundings and location. It takes about 10 mins to the old town and 5-7mins to the beach. Very affordable in taxi’s and a free shuttle at 4.30 each day to the town, would highly recommend to anyone looking to relax!

Very little, most of the time the hotel was quiet and we had the pool to ourselves or with just a few others. There was an outside party one night and I believe the hotel hosts these regularly but it didn’t finish late, think it may just be busier at weekends as a family party of about 16 came the same day as the party so just for awareness but we had everything we needed and would go back tomorrow!

Sunny has a very organization skill from the first arrival to departure date. She took care of your feelings about the stay. She arranged massages, lunch right after the massages, arranged shuttle bus to Hoian ancient city and pick up so that I could maximize my tour interest although I only stayed one night there. Sunny could even rearrange the Ba Na Hills stay moving to another date because of the bad weather with good negotiation and communication skill with the hotel. She is a good treasurer as well, Sunny found out I double paid the transport. She honestly informed me and organised the refund. It is very impressed me. Lily was the second person who got the good comments. She fed and serviced us good at the restaurant.

The team (reception, cleaners, kitchen team & gardners) led by Andy who was the guest relations manager could not have been more helpful, friendly (were always smiling) and professional. The resort was exactly what we were looking for, outside of Hoian but only a 6 minute drive by Grab or taxi to the centre of old town. Breakfast was good catering to both western and Asian tastes and a great chef who made the perfect omelettes. The pool was huge and very easy to access. We did not want to leave and will definitely return.

We loved our stay at Moodhoian so much that we extended from 6 days to 9. It had everything we wanted; amazing pool area, big bedroom with a riverview balcony, great breakfast buffet, the staff were all so lovely. Anna, Sunny, Lily, Linda, Jessie and Amy took such good care of us along with the rest of the team. Free bikes and the daily shuttle into town were a bonus, as were the range of free workshops. If you’re thinking of staying here- do it!!!

Absolutely nothing.

This hotel felt like a retreat and we loved every moment of our stay here. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and the facilities are superb. Very large pool and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist us whenever we needed it. In particular Lily and Sunil who always welcomed us with a smile and took time to chat to us every day at breakfast despite working so hard. And Erika also. There was also a free shuttle bus daily into the town at 4’and pick up at 9.30 which we used during our stay. We also used the free bikes to cycle to the beaches nearby and Coconut village which was very close to the hotel.

Nothing really. Only thing might be not enough sun beds around the pool when it gets very busy but we never had a problem.

Our stay at Moodhoian was exactly what we needed as a young family of 4 travelling with my parents. It met needs from young to old. Would highly recommend for families, it’s out of the busy hoi an old town, without being too far away. Lots of space for kids to run around and for parents to relax and enjoy. Recommend!!

Showers have a design fault which made the bathroom really wet, but hotel provided extra towels at request to assist with this.
