This place is incredible. We went back and forth with staying in a bungalow bc that’s the popular thing to do in Ninh Binh. I’m SO glad we stayed here. The hotel is in a great location. It’s in the back of a little alley but close to food, laundry, spas, and and attractions. We rented a motorbike so we explored all over Ninh Binh during the day and then got to retreat to our luxurious Mountain View room. The staff is incredibly kind. We took a late train on our last night and they let us use the pool, store our bags and shower! The food at their restaurant is delicious. The hotel is really special. The embroidery and attention to detail really shows. The pool is gorgeous. We stayed in the mountain room and I can’t recommend it enough. Absolute luxury!!

Nothing! It’s perfect.

This place is beautiful and the location is very convenient, close to all the restaurants and attractions. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious. The bed linen felt of extremely high quality, it was very comfortable to sleep there. It’s a great western option, specially if you are not staying for long. The place offers the use of free bikes, the bikes work well but nothing special, other accommodations offer the same kind of bikes. You can get 10% discount on their store if you mention your room number, the staff forgets to mention this. You will only get it after you get a room assigned, unfortunately I didn’t have a room assigned before my purchase.

Breakfast was ok, nothing very special. I would have expected something different for this kind of place.

We loved our stay in Ninh Binh/Tam Coc and Le Clos. We only stayed for one night, but due to me having a cold, we extended our stay with a late checkout until 5pm before taking the night train further south. The staff were incredibly accommodating to move other reservations so we could keep our room and it made the whole experience very relaxing. Prior to arrival, it was also easy to communicate and discuss trip options and organise transport. The room itself was beautiful, with a great view over the pool and the village, very airy, sunny and comfy. We were quite tired on arrival, so we enjoyed the possibility to have dinner at the hotel - French and Vietnamese fusion cuisine, everyone in the restaurant, bar and reception was wonderful. The location allows for an easy walk to the main riverfront area and restaurants, the hotel offers a tour of the area and bikes. We had organised a tour separately, but on the next day we took bikes from the hotel and cycled through the rice field to a few nice outdoor cafes. Before taking our train south, we tried the Tam Coc main street -- there were many good food options, lively bars and little shops and pharmacies for necessities. We could have easily extended our stay for another day or two, the area was very peaceful with beautiful nature and great riverside cafes. Staying overnight, rather than just rushing back to Hanoi after a day trip offers a completely different outlook.

Beautiful place, amazing room (ours was standard which was huge and beautifully appointed) - can only imagine how nice the upgraded rooms are. Amazing, helpful staff. Good breakfast in a lovely separate dining area. Pool area was so nice. We didn’t try the spa but it was there if needed. Great location down a quiet side street but just minutes from all the lovely bars and restaurants of Tam Coc. Overall highly recommended!

Only downside we found was soundproofing was not the best so there was a little noise/ disturbance from other guests and the crowing cockerel! It did not though spoil our overall enjoyment and beauty of this wonderful stay!

We were welcomed very nicely by the lovely staff on reception, they took us to the most beautiful and calm room that had such a wonderful view of the Karsts in the distance. The details in the embroidered bedding and other items in the room made it truly unique. We could sit in the amazing bathtub and gaze out of the window it was so relaxing! Oh and I haven’t mentioned the floor tiles, stunning!! The bed was huge and so comfortable and the room was quiet and calm. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful we enjoyed both Vietnamese and European dishes with plenty of nice bread and tasty cheese and salad. Our checkout was great and they even provided us with a room so that we could freshen up before our onward journey and booked us a taxi to the station. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, simply beautiful.

Nothing, we loved it completely.

The room and grounds are beautiful. The superior double rooks were of a large size and had a decent balcony to enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down. The swimming pool is an okay size but not heated, so a tad chilly in January. Breakfast was varied enough for a few days. Otherwise, it would get boring, loved rhe pho ga.

The only thing that was frustrating was the complete lack of information about needing both passport and visa details for check-in. The hotel sent a long whatsapp message with some information on travelling to the hotel etc but mentioned nothing in there about the above. We had actually stayed at this hotel prior and had been fine checking in with passport scans, this time however it was super tricky as our passports were being renewed and we physically didn't have them with us. In the 2.5 years so far of living in and travelling around Vietnam, it was the first time ever I have been asked for my physical passport and visa information. If this is a recent change in immigration policy, then absolutely fine, but give your guests the heads up.

The hotel is located really close to the main street of Tam Coc. Both rooms were spacious, with great view of the surrounding area. The beds were really nice and comfortable. Breakfast was plentyfull, with some meals been cooked on the spot by a chef, with ingredients of your liking. The whole accomodation has a really relaxing vibe to it, with plenty of indoor facilities to keep you occupied during your stay. The staff was really nice for the whole duration of our stay, and also assisted us with keeping our luggages even before and after the check in and check out time so we could take a walk around the city and enjoy the activities around the place.

We only stayed one night at this hotel after staying at a homestay just out of town and I wished we stayed here the whole time as it's so beautiful and luxurious. The hotel is so central but also so quiet in its own little oasis. The rooms are huge and gorgeous with so many little details, everything embroidered on linen, even the curtains. The pool is huge with lovely sunbeds where u can get cocktails. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are so helpful and delight. I would definitely stay here if I come back to Tam coc.

We loved the atmosphere of the place – a mix of Indochine charm and French countryside home. At first glance, the setting looks simple, but in reality it is very well curated. The location is excellent, close to the main attractions of Tam Coc. We also had dinner there and it was excellent. A special mention goes to the lovely embroidery shop, where I found beautiful gifts for everyone.

A small detail: having the breakfast table set would have made it even more pleasant.

This was an excellent stay. The suite was beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. We were able to get a room on the top floor. The bathroom had a pretty nice tub as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast and bought some things from the embroidery place downstairs. Location is also great and tucked back a little from the main road.

This is not their fault but there was a wedding downstairs at another location with loud karaoke the first night and second morning but it did end before 10:30pm. The property was quiet after they left.
