This was a brief, one-night stay at a location that was strategic to its proximity to Carrasco Airport because we had a 7:00 am flight the following day. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating despite a significant language barrier-- not all spoke English but everyone tried to communicate effectively in spite of this. And, for travelers like us who struggle with speaking Spanish, their efforts were very much appreciated. The guestroom was spacious and the amenities were generous. The beds were firm and comfortable. It's odd to complain about but we found the pillows to be too thick. The hotel was very well-maintained, clean, and gave a strong sense of security. I would caution travelers that there are no other food and beverage locations within safe proximity to the hotel but the in-house food and beverage options were adequate.

When I inquired ahead of the trip via the messaging service on Booking.com about airport shuttle service, I was provided incorrect information. I was told by whoever responded to my query that we needed to book shuttle service ahead of time via a third party provider and that the cost was $15 USD per traveler. While this was not necessarily an issue, the Front Desk Staff had no idea what I was referring to and instead offered to arrange for taxi service in the morning (which ultimately cost us only $8 USD total). Booking.com may want to look into this. Also, with the hotel's proximity to the airport, it seems to warrant having complimentary airport shuttle service.

The breakfast had many options and the staff renewed the items all the time. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had very good pressure.

The food of the restaurant wasn't as good as expected and it didn't have room service, I had to order and get the food downstairs in the tray over to the room.

Great reception service, when arriving very Late in the night.

When se called on Sunday to make a reservation for a Meeting room on monday Morning; we needed it from 9am onwards), we were told to wait for an answer until Monday 10am. Siriuosly, cmon! Instead we booked it in a different hotel (the Cottage hotel… 5min by Uber) and that is the place we will probably stay next time.

Great service: both front desk agents switched to French (I am French Canadian) as soon as they heard us… Very kind of them although I never ask for it and always try to do my best in Spanish. Hotel is ultra clean, customer service is excellent and food and drinks are rather good (they have a menu and more choices that I had expected). Room is quite large, very clean, sheets and pillows are comfortable.

Convenient location, very close to the airport, but without the cold/business like airport vibe. Room overlooking the lake was a bonus. Restaurant opened for dinner which was very convenient for late check-in. I’d like to thank Hernan and Romina at reception for their exceptional services.

Nothing major, but table at restaurant was not very clean at dinner time. Everything else was perfect.

Quiet and super comfy room; amazing that even so near to busy road and airport, the lakeside room gives you a peaceful and relaxing view. Breakfast is very good indeed, lots of choice, and always nice fresh fruit :) Staff are exceptional, always going out of their way to make the stay comfortable and hassle-free. This is our second visit, and we were so happy to see the familiar face of Joaquim on the reception desk. He greeted us like old friends, and always has time for smile.

Cannot fault this place for what it offers, all really good!

Well located for the airport. Comfortable beds and excellent shower

The lobby smelled like cheap fruity air freshener, and the room smelled as if it needed a good blast of air through it, but apart from that we had no gripes. Perhaps change the cleaning products for odour neutral and open the bedroom windows more often?

The room was really spacious and comfortable (and was given a free upgrade). Great view of the lake, lovely shower, all really clean and high quality. Really helpful and friendly staff. Quiet even though close to the airport.

Breakfast and dinner was very good. Staff are exceptional - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Joaquim on reception is amazing. We arrived very early, so our room was not ready understandably - but they found another room that was available so we could check in straight away. After a very long period of travelling, this was so helpful.

The room on the Avenida side is just a bit noisy, but these things are relative of course (it did not stop us having a great night's sleep!)

This hotel was one of the best values for the money that I have ever had. I was in Paris this year in a tiny room at twice the price with no breakfast included, no WiFi, nothing special but a decent location. I never stayed at a Hampton in the States but I will definitely put it on the top of my list my next trip. WJR
