Breakfast overall was good. There was plenty of choice. Enjoyed the swimming and sauna etc. Thought the games in the reception was a good idea and the children’s area. The room was clean.

The SAGGY bed. Back ache. Need to replace the bed! The room was very dark and gloomy. Breakfast … the fruit juice was very watered down swimming pool … floor not washed in pool area and changing rooms. Swam both days and noticed a used plaster around pool and a hair band in changing rooms on both days.

I loved how child friendly it was. We enjoyed the pool and my son loved the play area near the dining room :)

We found the tablets a bit tricky for ordering food in the evenings by the bar. One night it was my error for not understanding the system and I hadn’t actually placed all the meals we had wanted. The second evening when placing the orders the tablet went blank and it lost the whole order I had just placed. Much easier to just order straight to the bar staff.

When they realised I was disabled with limited mobility they VERY kindly moved me to a more easy to get too room. Almost all the staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

When I asked for my main with my starter, one of the staff very rudely answered (not knowing I was in ear shot) “well she can just wait”, then proceeded to slate other customers (clearly thinking they weren’t being obvious, yet they were), otherwise it would have been the perfect stay.

I am never a breakfast eater, so no comment but I chatted to lots of people who said the Breakfast were great and you could help yours3lves , as much as you want, kids paradise!,,,I loved the fact that you can just come and have a coffee if you ant, with a hot croussan

Absolutely nothing….except I did not like the fact of being alone ( female and the windows were so easily opened with a quick push! In 2022 they need to have a key to lock them in? That’s o.k if you have Hubby with you but at the crazy world that we live in….. you need a lock, and a fire arm….ha ha ha. Sorry just chilling in the lovely dining room.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly, with excellent facilities for families and children. Lots of extra touches, such as tokens for children to use in exchange for drinks and snacks, great games and play area for children, excellent breakfast and range of food available. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Rooms on the small side for families and leaky shower panel. Though minor issues, which did not detract from our overall experience at the hotel.

We were upgraded to a super king and it was a lovely room, bed was extremely comfortable and everything was to hand. I was fortunate to have a fridge in my room although my parents didn’t in their ground floor super king room but that was fine as we stored things in my room. Walk in showers were roomy and body wash/soap were lovely.

Only thing which maybe could be considered was soap in shower in room 30 was a little too high for my mum, but I had taken some so it wasn’t an issue

Excellent location for travellers off the Scillonian We left Penzance at 9pm and managed a night asleep in a comfortable hotel and a swim before breakfast. Another day of travel to get home made much more pleasant The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable for small children and their parents

The bedroom was very small with the twin beds touching but I had been in a tent for 2 weeks so it was fine. My brother found it a little too close

It’s conveniently located for visiting family. We love being able to use the pool in the health club! Very impressed this time with the efforts you’ve made for kids. Staff are super friendly.

The only niggles are there are never enough teabags or milk sachets! Not a massive deal as you always give us more when we ask. The breakfast is quite expensive so we’ve only had this when there’s been an inclusive deal - if it were cheaper we’d probably add it in.

It was nicely situated just off the motorway so we didn't have far to travel on our way down to Ilfracombe. The place was nice and the room was great for our one night sleep over, and to break the journey up. We put our little boy to bed, and then my partner started getting ready for bed too, but after four hours of driving, I felt like I needed a littl reward. So, I went down to the bar and orders a pint of cider. Very helpful staff, great that the bar was still open and I could have a little refreshement after the days driving was done. In the morning, my son and I went for a quick dip in the pool, which was super refreshing. And we all had a a lovely breakfast before hand. Great little refreshing stop over, and went on into Devon without any traffic and delays.

The room was across the other side of of the hotel and up some stairs and we had to wake our son up to walk up the stairs, he was to heavy to carry. Not really an issue with the hotel per-se, they were just busy, I dare say that if they had spare rooms near the car park on th eground floor, they would have swapped us over.

The room was large. The bed was enormous and very comfortable with a selection of pillows. The bathroom was clean and large shower. Breakfast was exceptional. Well exceeded expectations.

The location just off M5 was very convenient. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. We were allocated a ground floor room but when I asked for a first floor room this was allocated. The receptionist was extremely helpful.
