-The staff were amazing especially Michael and Tanya who took such great care of me, were super helpful and friendly. -The room and property was well maintained, neat and tidy. Lots of parking in site which was also great. - Good internet connection

- The pillows were not the best! - Lack of consistency in what was available for breakfast, the basic should really be available - And the system used to access the gates depends on getting hold of the staff which is not a seamless process and prone to human and phone network error. I understand there is a safety aspect, but this could be better.

Other reviews are fair in their pros & cons but overall it’s a very good place to stay indeed, with excellent staff too.

We stayed in four of the room categories. You get what you pay for, except the King Suite which is disappointing and the Executive Suite which is exceptional (for the grade of establishment).

The breakfast was so amazing and the staff always made sure i was taken care of, i felt so at home with the hospitality at Art Lodges, the location is great, peaceful and close to village walk so i had access to really nice restaurants and stores.

I think for longer staying guests they should provide laundry services

Art Lodge never fails. Mr. Nkomo and family run a top notch place. The staff, food and environment always exceed our expectations.

There is nothing I don't like about staying at Art Lodge, other than recommending it to others. I fear that someday I will seek to make a reservation and find no vacancy as others have discovered this jewel in the heart of Harare.

The staff was exceptional in all aspects, especially Tanya who received us and was helpful throughout the stay. Excellent neighbourhood, excellent attention to the gate when entering and leaving the premises. Great breakfast. Very clean and quiet environment, good value for money. A few minutes walk to Sam Levy Village. Place is a must stay for everyone.

Very friendly staff - treated like family. Everything worked as it should. The bed was especially comfortable.

Due to a hitch with booking.com we were told the lodge was fully booked when we arrived - despite having booked it via booking.com several months earlier. However, the hostess went out of her way to find a room for us.

The breakfast was not continental as is advertised. It is just a normal breakfast.

The ambience was generally good. I was completely disappointed by the breakfast, as no cereals, fruits, yogurt and the components of a continental breakfast were not there at all.

It would be good to have one lounging chair in the room Shower floor has steep slope - slippery when soapy

Third time staying here :) Staff are lovely, thank you to Angie and team for their professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and a big thank you for preparing an extra early breakfast for us as we were leaving early. Beautiful grounds and safe, convenient location, near to Sam Levy's / Borrowdale Village.

Good location close to Borrowdale Village, clean and comfortable and welcoming. We used Art Lodge as our overnight base to explore Kariba (West) and Abafoyle (East).

Michael was very accommodating and willing to help us with our travel and dinner arrangements. Moo Ka Thai is over the road and defiantly worth a dinner.
