This was the best hotel we stayed at in Tirana simply for the staff and respect we were given our whole trip. We travelled with 6 people which can be a lot to juggle and they were more than accommodating for everything. Gramoz was a 10/10- he was our bellhop, server, parking coordinator- he does it all! And will be the reason that we come back to this hotel next time we are in Tirana. If you have the time-come to this hotel!!

Nothing! Everything was perfect

Absolutely everything. Property itself was in a fantastic location, very clean, and comfortable sleeping and eating arrangements. Airconditioning throughout the building. Staff… Couldn’t have asked for a more professional & helpful staff (from the manager Tom, to Alda, Ladi and Dori etc). The property also has a great bar on the rooftop with another set of wonderful staff. I’ve stayed in hotels all over Europe, but never experienced such a great staff and ready-to-help attitude. I’d always consider Mondial Hotel first, whenever I visit Tirana. Strongly recommended. Thank you all the guys @ Mondial (including parking gentleman & cleaning staff and waiters) for making our stay at the hotel, truly easy and pleasant holiday experience. I’ll see you next year.

Nothing to note

Located 15min walk from Sanderbeg Square the main point in Tirana. However the hotel is surrounded by cafes and pubs that you need not venture too far and the best thing is the roof top terrace which is a hub for tourists and locals alike. Also there is the pool which is available 9 to 5. The food choices are brilliant too you can eat and drink on the roof top terrace or you can eat in the rest on the ground floor. The rooms are a very generous size and the hotel feels kinda empty and exclusive even though it was at full capacity.

Nothing some might compare price and wonder but for the staff and service it was worth every lek.

From the minute I got to the door everyone was very eager to help. I was given ideas and directions before I even got my room. The breakfast was very well presented but the feel of the hotel was luxury. The terrace on the roof will help you find your feet quite quickly as it is easy to see where everything is. The access to the pool there is limited but that is fine. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable.

The service on the terrace can be a lot slower than the bar in the lobby. The walk to the square is a little uneven if you are unsteady on your feet but i think that is because of renovation.

All clean and efficient, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Room comfortable and a pleasant outlook across thee city. Staff downstairs were super-helpful re parking the (hire) car though the spot (right next to the hotel) was in a narrow one-way street rather than on the (very small) hotel forecourt area (which was full).

We booked our last night in Albania (after a longish drive) anticipating an evening around the rooftop pool and bar but were disappointed when we checked it out at 5pm to discover the pool was closing at 5.30pm. (It was a cool day though, so this mattered less than it might have).

The breakfast offering was the best we had in Albania. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The massage lady was very good value for money. Location is great for getting to the main areas (eg Skanderberg Square) The rooftop bar is great for city/mountain views, and the drinks are very good value for money.

The rooms are a little tired, but still very large and comfortable. The air con was awful - very noisy and quite useless. This definitely needs upgrading. There wasn't an iron available to use - we were only able to use one if we were paying for laundry.

Location was great, it was a nice surprise to have a room with a balcony. The hotel offers a good experience overall.

The quality and variety at the breakfast buffet needs a lot of improvement. Also they rent some space for parties and do not control the noice that comes from there. One of the nights there was people yelling for almost one hour around 4 am. The shower is completely open, so you can't take a shower without messing the toilet and wetting everything. Might be cultural but the customer service at the front desk can be rude from time to time.

This is our third time at Mondial and the hotel is as excellent as ever. Room is clean and quiet, location is perfect (lots of currency exchange places right next door as well as coffee shops and grocery shops to get water). The reception desk is always very helpful, wifi is strong and reliable. Really enjoy their breakfast options, in particular the meat and cheeses. We love that we can leave our bags at the reception safely when checking out in case our next accommodation is not ready yet and we just want to walk around Tirana.

Love that they have the bidets but they are a little small (I'm only 163cm tall and it is still not super comfortable for me to use it) and too close to the wall (but i guess they are like that in every hotel we stayed at).

My room was simple and spacious. The service at the hotel, from reception to the restaurant, was excellent. The complimentary breakfast buffet served in the morning had great options; I liked the crepes, fresh bread, and the eggs. There were small birdcages on the landing of the stairs indoors which was a beautiful touch, I liked hearing the birds chirp softly in the morning. The location was central - I was able to walk around easily and without any problems. I felt safe. There are two ATMs very close to the hotel which was convenient, and there are many shops just steps away. The rooftop pool, while small, was a nice amenity.

Finding a place to park around the hotel can be tough (generally speaking, its hard find parking around Tirana). There are only a handful of lounge chairs at the pool, most were taken when I arrived. The rooms look a little dated.

Good location, about 20/30 minute walk from the centre but we enjoyed that. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great after hot days sightseeing. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and loved the rooftop bar for the afternoons/evenings. Airport transfer was great, very efficient and convenient.

The pool was small and not many loungers and there was a lot of smoking at the rooftop bar.
