Fantastic little hotel, in a quiet area a short walk away from Skanderberg Square. The room was very cosy and comfortable, and I loved old-school vibe of the whole place. They don't make hotels like this anymore! The host was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very nice. A real "Mom and Pop" type of hotel which I highly recommend for an authentic Albanian experience and a very comfortable stay.

All staff were very welcoming the moment I arrived I paid my stay before hand as I usually do , were they told me u can pay anytime. Breakfast was so awsome & Halal Thanks to Mr. Kevin for his nice guesture Thanks for Mr. Nazmi ( A great artisit) for his elegancy.

Location : 10 minute walk from main square. Free parking for car, but car park gets really cramped. Our room had 2 separate bedrooms, but they were only that : bedrooms, no sitting space. I like I can warn other people to stay away from this place.

Oh boy..... Check-in : "staff" (she claims she only works in the bar) had no knowledge about the booking, giving us a random room instead of booked one. This was corrected of course, but prices discussed about our booked room were random, up to the point it was different from prices stated on booking.com when booked. They even asked a different price than the one listed at the reception desk. We had to point out the room was listed at 50 euro a night, not 75 euro as they stated, even when we pointed to the 50 euro at the displayed list......... We eventually got the correct room, for the price we booked but one shouldn't haggle about the prices after booking. Ah yes... Payment in cash only, we were asked to pay at the second of four days staying. Didn't even get a receipt for it. Breakfast : sparse and what you get is standing for hours, turning it into plastic (eggs in particular) The room (even the one with 2 bedrooms) is small and the shower in bathroom really narrow. Toilet seat was wonky, but that seems to be an Albanian thing. TV set was not working (batteries?) but we didn't bother further. No cleaning of the room during our 4-day stay, not even new towels. Yes, there is that classics interior, but it's exactly like the pictures show. Lots of street noise in the rooms. Our biggest problem is a dispute we're having : We stayed during the national holidays, with lots of things going on in the evening. One night, we returned to the hotel quite late, noticing we were locked out. (There is no notice of them closing at night, booking.com states : 24h front desk) Anyway,... no one at front desk, door bell doesn't seem to be working and no answer on phone calls. We even went to the police office (across the street) to ask for help, but they couldn't reach anyone either. In the end, we took a night in a different hotel because of the impossibility to enter hotel Kruja.

Everything else, from unprofessional personnel to very outdated and old furnitures, poor Internet connection etc.
