Reasonably priced. Plenty of room in the apartment. Very quiet at night.

Receptionist on Friday night 20/12 was very perfunctory. Receptionist at checkout on the morning of 21/12 was excellent - friendly and asked how our stay was. Parking spots are extremely narrow. A group of teenagers were in the pool on night of 20/12 drinking beer out of glass bottles next to families with young children & there were no staff on hand to tell them to get out, even though there are cameras everywhere. A little more cleaning required in the apartment. Silverfish found in kitchen, melted cheese in kitchen sink hole, dirty balcony. Toilet had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. Not sure if it was the previous occupants or it was coming from somewhere else but it wasn’t in any other room.

A comfortable clean and spacious room. The location was close to all the amenities in Kingston, Canberra. I think the price is about right for what you get and the location.

Lack of signage on what to do with keys when checking out. The guy at reception was on the phone, and didn’t even signal what to do. I waited around 5 minutes until he got off the phone and then he simply took them from me without needing to do anything else. I then received a text message to leave the keys in the room after I already checked out at about 8.30. The text message could be sent earlier or that instruction could be provided when you check in.

Everything you need, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer the rooms were a great size with extra blankets for those cold nights. The dining room table looked great and the shower was a great size with 2 shower heads 1 for overhead the other to detach from the unit. Also the separate toilet is great!

The only thing and this is more or less looking for something I didn't like is for the lounge room layout was very odd, the use of 2 single middle sofa inserts against the kitchen wall that also semi blocked the walk way to get to the bedrooms was annoying and not comfortable as the TV was 90degrees from these seats you couldn't comfortably sit and watch the tv. The TV was also quite low compared to the seating in the room.

The size of the apartment was excellent. We would have preferred more towels for 6 people. For some reason there were only 5. The lounge coach was a bit grubby and in need of an update to be honest. The kitchen was well stocked but it would have been preferable to have some kitchen scissors and the carving knives to be sharp. They were a bit blunt. We were supplied with plenty of dishwashing materials and the dishwasher worked well as did the laundry machines. The beds were very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

Kitchen knives could have been sharper. More bathroom towels would have also been appreciated for a 5 day stay. One carpark for a 3 bedroom apartment was poor. Should've been able to have 2 parks as the facility wasn't at capacity.

The ample room in the three bedroom apartment, comfy beds and location to major Canberra attractions. Having the apartment serviced whilst we were there, was an unexpected pleasure. The undercover car park made for easy retrieval of luggage etc, in inclement weather. We also enjoyed the sense of security provided with locked gates and key access to car park.

Well . . . it has to be the 35 stairs to get to our apartment. Had there been a dumb waiter to transport bags, groceries and alike, it would have made the world of difference. Whilst the kitchen was well appointed, the pots and pans left a lot to be desired. The fry pan was in need of replacement and the saucepans were missing lids. These things wouldn't stop us recommending this location to family and friends, but need to be addressed all the same.

The apartments are well furnished and clean inside. Comfortable for a family stay. The communal outdoor entertaining areas looked good. The location to Kingston marketplace and Canberra sights is excellent. Carpark is secured.

The stairwells and exteriors looked grubby and a little tired. The dryer would only work intermittently and was a potential fire hazard. The kitchen needs refreshing to keep up with the rest of the apartments decor. Even a new splashback would make a difference. More than four place settings would be welcome too. Mobile reception and wi-fi leaves a little to be desired, but I understand that's a Kingston wide issue.

Location is excellent! accessible to most anything you need for your stay. The units are spacious and in good condition. The staff were very pleasing to deal with.

The sound proofing of the units--not great. There was this one evening we were told off by the guard about noise level and we were just watching TV?! I stepped out of the apartment to check it myself and he's not wrong, the sound can travel to the hallways even at reasonable volumes.

The property was easy to find and had secure parking. We needed a two bedroom accommodation due to medical reasons, so this was a great place to get this. The beds were more comfortable than I was expecting. Bathroom had laundry facilities as well.

Because one of us had a knee injury, walking was difficult and the closest park to our accommodation was not possible to get into as another guest had a long vehicle next to this park which made it impossible to pull into the park as I couldn’t swing around it without hitting the pillar on the left. Also, other guests were very noisy in the staircase and we could hear someone snoring loudly in the next room during the night.

Pinnacle Apartments is centrally located and within walking distance to the Kingston shops and local attractions. It is perfect for a large group of friends visiting Canberra. Reception staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check-in at different times, and ensuring the two rooms we booked were in close proximity to each other. Apartments are fully equipped for cooking and laundry, and the living spaces are comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Nice location - Kingston is a really lovely area with everything you need and it makes a great base for exploring Canberra. The units are spacious, modern and well appointed with all the basics. Check-in and out was smooth and we really enjoyed our stay.

The main issue for us was stairs. I originally booked a 3 bed apartment but was informed about the stairs and changed my booking for two smaller units, however we still had one or two flights of stairs to reach them. The two units I booked were not very close together either which was a shame. And the whole building is spread across different levels so our cars were also a few flights of stairs apart. We managed okay but not ideal for anyone with limited mobility. It's worth noting it is popular accommodation for those working in Canberra, including quite a few tradies and we were woken quite early by some loud ones
