It is a large holiday village of sorts, complete with RV parks. There are facilities and pool and kiddie parks. Nelson Bay (the commercial centre for the region), is about 10min drive away. Very close to all the on land whale watching spots. Property had two bedrooms on the same floor, a small living/dining area and a kitchen. The rooms were very well kept but were small though The Koala Sanctuary is just next door, literally.

We went to the wrong Ingenia Holidays (the One Mile location) which is just up the road. Because it is winter, there were only a small number of occupants.

The staff was super friendly. The kids loved the jumping pillow and the pool area. The onsite cafe was very convenient and the food tasty. There is also a small playground and a basketball area. Great for bush walks! Overall it's a good base to explore all the amazing things Port Stephens has to offer.

There wasn't anything really negative about our stay, just a few watch outs: We stayed in the spa cabin, which was very clean overall but it was a bit dated and the sofa had quite a few stains. There was no oven and no BBQ, I believe some of the other cabins have those. No dishwasher either but we knew that beforehand. It wasn't a big deal, it just meant that the dishes in the cupboards needed a wash before using. Lastly, there are some lovely walks around the area and the coastline is stunning, however, the holiday park isn't directly at the beach. It would be quite the hike for smaller kids to get to the water.

Excellent communication. Very clear instructions & updates. Late check in procedure easy & really appreciated. Lovely very clean spacious cabin. Loved the selection of toiletries Very comfy bed, we don't usually have a soft mattress but it was so comfortable we were surprised. Heaps of parking next to the cabin for our car & trailer. Overall a very pleasant stay, will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely location, close to the beach. Very close to the headland where you can watch the whales going past. The house itself was lovely and modern. Loved the extra toilet in the laundry area. Very comfortable. The cafe/restaurant on site is excellent with amazing food. Loved ordering coffee in the morning and picking up when ready. A very short walk from accommodation.

The kitchen supplies need looking at. The knives are blunt and useless and not enough pots and pans. Need more cooking utensils.

It was our family’s 1st time to try a cabin and the kids enjoyed the experience. It was as described and shown in pictures. The stay exceeded our expectations as it was very kid friendly - the comfortable bunk beds, pools with kids slide, and even the jumping pillows. There’s a cafe where food was delicious. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating too. Looking forward to stay again!

As mentioned in previous reviews, the tree was down which hindered the access path to the beach so we really didn’t explore further down.

Perfect for Family’s is an excellent choice for families. The rooms are spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities. The staff is welcoming and the hotel has great family-friendly facilities, including a play area and a well-maintained pool. The location is convenient, Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The kids’ beds were smaller than expected but still comfy. While kids’ blankets are provided, we had to make the beds ourselves.

Villa- Modern, roomy, large tv in lounge, large comfy lounge, two toilets and a tv in main and kids' bedroom (first cabin of many we have stayed in). large verandah with bbq and table/chairs. Bathroom was large and again very modern with a two-way door to both bedrooms. parking was long enough beside cabin for a car&trailer. 10 min walk to beach. Overall it was a better cabin than expected and would not hesitate to recommend.

Pools, one being heated was in front of cafe and next to road. Prefer a bit of privacy but kids would not have an issue and parents could have a coffee/meal while looking after them. Other parks maybe in a better position but would be older(check prices and see if the position is worth the extra price)

First and foremost, the size of the bedrooms exceeded my expectations. It allowed me to enjoy the convenience and flexibility of preparing my meals, whether it was a quick breakfast or a more elaborate dinner. The kitchen was equipped with modern appliances and stocked with essential cookware and utensils, making it a pleasure to use. This feature particularly appealed to me as it provided a homely touch and allowed for a cost-effective and personalized dining experience during my stay. Additionally, the shower facilities at this hotel were truly refreshing. The water pressure was invigorating, and the temperature control was easy to adjust to my preference. The spaciousness of the shower cubicle, along with the well-designed layout, provided a comfortable and relaxing space to freshen up. The inclusion of high-quality toiletries further added to the overall indulgence, ensuring a pleasurable and rejuvenating bathing experience.

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this hotel caters primarily to families with young children. The lobby was teeming with noise, chaos, and constant running around, creating an atmosphere that was far from serene. The incessant screams and cries echoing through the hallways only added to the discomfort. It seemed as though the hotel lacked proper supervision or regulation to ensure a peaceful ambiance for all guests.

Love the vibe there. It's almost like a small community that visitors can blend into the local and enjoy freely inside the hotel. The facilities are also amazing. Pools, cafe, restaurant, and other necessities are just nearby.

For 6 people room that we booked, there is only one toilet (bathroom) included, so that we have to take turns to shower and use the toilet, which is not that convenient. Also, if salt and pepper could be provided in the room it will be better since there is a decent kitchen.

The bed in our villa is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in- better then my own! I liked the pool side cafe, I found the reception staff very friendly and cheerful I think her name was Hannah. The kids loved the pool and spa and jumping pillow. We enjoyed the bush walk through to the dunes

I find the streets and driveways very narrow, obviously this can't be helped but is the only 'negative' feedback I have.
