We are recreational flyers - party of 4 nd due to bad weather landed at Dubbo. This property was recommended to us by our taxi driver and we were very happy with our stay. As we walk we were able to walk down town and look around as we were only there for 1 night . very comfortable will place hotel on our flying app for convenience

Bathroom was a little small - my partner is 6'3" and had to duck to get in the shower. Limited space in that room. Also looked like our room had been given a new tv as stations were not programmed and had difficulty getting the settings going - not a major just for info only.

This was our first time taking my 6yo daughter away with us she is autistic and she found herself comfortable and seemed like she made herself at home straight away when she walked in the room it was great being on ground floors I was able to leave my partner with my daughter head outside for a smoke and feel safe in my car parked directly outside the door during the night was very soundproofed with only hearing very few things when outside during the night my daughter being one with her iPad on full volume during the night knowing that others wouldn’t be bothered by how loud my daughter was as she doesnt understand keeping her volume down with her disability. The room had a double bed and single bed a fridge and kettle and toaster, the shower had good pressure

Possibly could of been a little cheaper for budget but was just manageable for us

Location is excellent with Chinese restaurant next door and multiple fast-food outlets within 5 minutes’ walk. Centrally located to the main shopping district of Dubbo including Old Dubbo Jail a very easy walking distance away. The rooms are well equipped plus a microwave that I was able to put to good use preparing my meals and it is good to have a proper table and chairs to sit at also. Bathroom is quite narrow but the shower is big and plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. The motel is easy to find in Darling Street just off the main highway and very quite at night no traffic noise at all and plenty of off street parking. All the staff are very friendly and helpful also. I would stay there again next time I'm in Dubbo.

The toilet roll holder in my room needs to be turned around the other way or upgraded to prevent the roll falling off when in use!

Location, easy parking. Having liquid body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower and hand soap, moisturiser and shaving cream dispensers at the sink

*Where the toilet roll holder is located, diagonally behind you. Hard to reach and not great with a bad back. *No bottled water supplied or cold water kept in the fridge. *Hard to put water in the Kettle in the bathroom sink (lower profile Kettle needed or taller tap spout)

Everything, it was close to all facilities, hospital for day only treatment & Dentist. very comfortable & clean & having a restaurant in the Motel was wonderful. we could have a couple of drinks & walk a small distance to our room. The menu was extensive & amazing. We had the Meat platter for 2, which was beautifully flavoured & tender. My husband has stayed often, years ago & said we should stay. so glad we did & we will stay again in the near future. 

not a thing really, except the girls didn’t come back to see if we wanted more drinks, & we had to really try to catch there attention as they were walking through.

Comfortable bed very clean, close to all the fast food outlets, short walk to Main Street

Very odd shape room everything on an angle. No bench space only one small one for suit case, small round table so close to bed, the fridge door when open almost touched the bed. Very small bathroom with odd shaped shower. Hot water took almost 10 minutes to come through

The location was brilliant right in prime location of everything in the CBD the bed was amazing and the spa in our room was so nice and relaxing.

Nothing everything was very nice clean and the receptionist were very welcoming.

I was in a hurry when I made this booking and did not register words like "small" and "tiny" the standard queen room was both small and tiny about half the size of a normal motel room. The property does recommend their corporate suites which is good advice, I did not see inside one,but they looked like a normal sized motel room which I would happily book in future.

Location provided easy access to CBD, walking distance to clubs/park etc. Rooms at rear of property were super quiet. Very little noise from arriving/departing guests and zero traffic noise noticed in ground floor room. Although travelling by car, I ride a motorcycle also, and noticed that room numbers 201 and 202 share an undercover roof area, perfect place to park bikes undercover and be virtually out of sight due to rear street access.

It a good location and we have stayed at the Matilda in the past.

The only thing we did not like was that the resturant was closed, the resturanr for us is one of the main drawcards. However, we found another good resturant the Ox Bar and Grill about a 5-minute walk away which was excellent albeit a bit expensive.
