Large comfy bed, lovely bathroom, smart tv with apps to log into. Access to balcony.

Toaster provided but no knives to spread anything on toast with. Tea and coffee provided but no milk

Comfortable bed, clean big room. Awesome shower.

The staff were very friendly, and when we had trouble with the internet, the receptionist was amazing with my children! The beds were super comfortable, and everyone slept very well. Being able to stream our services via the TV was great to watch movies before bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was great! The room was in great shape and was very clean. The simple continental breakfast was great and convenient to be able to get us back on the road. On-site parking was definitely a bonus with putting our minds at ease. Our stay here was convenient, cheap, and overall a great stay!

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

We arrived late and were able to get our room keys super easily. The room was then extremely easy to locate with plentiful and clear signage with directions also provided to us. This was perfect after our long day of travel as it meant we were able to arrive and almost immediately walk up to our room. We also had no issues whatsoever with the wifi. Even though there was a sign stating that it was slow and that they were working on it I tested the speed and got a reading of 50mbps which was more than enough for us to stream 4K content.

Only thing I think could be improved would be to provide the room with a water jug. There were already two glasses in the room but it would have been nice to be able to fill a jug with water to cool in the provided fridge

We loved that we found a friendly simple and cost effective hotel on our travels that allowed us to have our fur baby (dog) in the room with us. There was ample space in the room and close to shops and amenities and even the water. We will be stopping back in on our trip back to WA and the ladies even gave our pup a new toy and he hasn't let it go since!

Room was small but had all that was needed and that's reflected in the price paid but the rooms themselves are GREAT, simple and superbly clean inside.

It was cheap. It was very basic and pretty much just a stop over. Check in was super easy. They left a key in a safe box. So super convenient and never actually met one staff member. We didn’t take any pets, but it was pet friendly, and I think that’s awesome. The heater in the room was good. It had a microwave and that was good.

It was very dark outside when trying to enter the property. A little hard to see. There was a very smelly drain in the bathroom that I had to cover with the bath mat. The curtain was a little mouldy.

We were returning customers having discovered this gem earlier in the year. An old Pub that is no longer in use being used for accommodation only. We had a balcony room and was able to enjoy having drinks and sitting on the balcony as the sun went down, just watching the world go by. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was included and a little further up is a spectacular little Pizza shop that sells the most amazing Pizzas and triples as a Christmas shop and a Florist as well. The display of Xmas items is wonderful. I love staying at this Motel, the receptionist (a young lady) was just so lovely and helpful, you couldn't ask for more.

There wasn't anything I personally felt needed complaining about. For me and my partner it was a great stay.

Love that it's pet-friendly. The room was big enough for a one night stay with ample bathroom space. The air conditioner was a bit loud and the lights on it a bit bright, but it was a comfortable stay. NIce to have Netflix and other tv channels, but the connection was spotty at times. The location is ideal for our drive from Adelaide to Sydney and we love the people in Hay in the little shops on the street.

While collecting keys was simple there was a lot of trust of the customers as all the guests keys were put in envelopes with their full names on it in a shared lock box.

Helpful service, clean room. Basic breakfast, but lovely clean breakfast dining area. The balcony all around the premises is so charming. We had fun playing darts, and having a casual drink on the balcony with the sun going down. Very good value for money.

This accommodation was very good. A couple things a miss like no wine glasses in room, and only 1 coffee cup, not the end of the world though. Carpet in the walk ways to rooms needs replacing (stained), but I can see renovation stages are underway, and am sure this is probably planned to be addressed. It would be great if the pub was open, and you could have a meal there. There's clearly lots of potential at the Commercial Hotel. Thank you.

room was nice and a beautiful scent when we arrived, big room and quiet. The building is 100 years old ( old world charm ) a long verandah upstairs with table and seat for everyone to use , ( very nice ) . staff super friendly and very informative. The pub is closed since covid , but you walk up the road and have foodwork, cafes/eateries/ another bistro breakfast is from 7am to 10 am includes various cereal, juice, wholemeal and white bread which you can toast , ( jam, vegemite, peanut butter ) coffee, milk

no complaint , enjoyed our stay! lovely clean place and nice chat with staff. Thumbs up!
