Staff were friendly and room was very clean. The motel is not far from the various restaurants in Katoomba's main street, however walking there and back would require a long uphill walk both ways so driving may be preferred. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were available.

2 out of 5 nights our smoke alarm went off in the early morning as it was in need of replacing. On 2 other nights the neighbouring room's smoke alarm went off, each time being quite disruptive for sleep. Minor inconvenient issues: The kettle does not fit in between the bathroom tap and sink, so must be filled with glasses of water. Glasses, coffee, milk and spoons were provided, but ideally a plate would also be included to help with food preparation.

Never met any staff member. My key was waiting in my room and i placed in the exit box upon leaving. Easy to find. Had anything one might need for a night stay, but two issues...the water in the shower never got warm...i tried several different dial settings but only Luke warm at best. Also there is a very shart plack object between the toilet bowl and bathroom door that i stepped on twice. Much pain! But I would stay here again. good value for the $ and extra clean and stocked with towels and tea. Thank you

What a find! This was the second time we have stayed at The Three Sisters Motel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, well-appointed, budget friendly, and a good size for us. And the staff are always friendly. Built in 1963, the motel still has that "retro" feel that we love. From the drive up to park directly outside your room, the striking blue doors against the orange brick, the retro style room numbers to the old breakfast shelves beside each room that back in the day would have served up some delicious early morning fair. The retro neon signs outside the motel have sparked my inquisitive spirit numerous times on visits to Katoomba, and because of this, we now have a new favourite. The motel is within walking distance from The Three Sisters at Echo Point, which is great for spectacular early morning walks. We'll be back again and again to soak up the retro feels, the history, and those gorgeous neon signs!

Warm and comfortable room in very cold and wet weather. Carparking right outside door was very convenient. Good hot water in bathroom. Nice to have electric blankets on beds. The beds were comfortable and warm. TV worked ok. We knew it was an older motel but was fit for purpose and in a good location if you have a car. Too far to walk to shops for supplies.

Unfortunately, there was no cutlery or crookery supplied even although a microwave in the room. We did ring and get some but was strange not to have a basic set. There was no toaster, only electric jug and mugs and small glasses. There was a dripping shower and we reported this, and it was fixed by the management. There is no one onsite as it is self-check-in. There is not much room between the beds. We had a double and single. We had a 3-night stay and didn't get to see any of the local views and scenic world as it was a complete white out and raining the whole time, we were there🥲🥲That was soooo disappointing as it was the 3rd attempt to get to the Blue Mountains. At least we were comfortable in our accommodation.

Had a great stay at the 3 Sisters Motel for a couple of nights while exploring the area. Perfect location to walk down to the Three Sisters themselves, and also a short drive or not too long of a walk into Katoomba itself. Room was clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. Facilities were all as you would expect in a motel, and staff when on site were all helpful and friendly. Place has a great outdoor area at the front which feels like it’s not used so much these days, but we enjoyed a drink out there at the end of a long day of hiking nonetheless. Overall, we enjoyed the motel charm of the place and it was just what we needed for our short stay.

Wifi didn’t work for us but we managed without so wasn’t a problem.

Excellent Location, ease of access to the main town of Katoomba and ECHO POINT, the tree sisters viewing vista You could not ask for a better location in regards to the main tourist attraction and experience in the Blue Mountains The Showers were the Best and Tv had some Smart features included, all the 21st century touches you want. stayed with family, room Has a fridge Tea coffee and glasses for our champagne drink *(staying for a birthday celebration with family from overseas in Ireland

I booked a single night stay as I need to be in Sydney early the next day and I live 3 hours from Katoomba. I was given instructions via text message about my arrival. I arrived and found my room easily. I was able to park right outside my room. The room had everything I need for the stay. Excellent.

The only negative was that there were no plates in the room so when I wanted to use the microwave I had to use the container that my food was in.

We had such an excellent 2 night stay. We were skeptical after reading some of the reviews, there were things that were listed how there was only 1 plug for electricity, the light from outside came through at night, the bathroom was cold and there wernt enough towels and one review said the room was outdated. So I made sure to pack things to ensure that we would be comfortable in our stay, a multi-adapter, a plain sheet for the light to block out any light, 2 spare towels. Only to find a modern, clean, beautiful and cosy room with air con/heater hehe There was a microwave, a kettle, a decent sized fridge. There were mutiple electricity sockets, the wifi was free and great for movies at night, it was quiet, only a small amount of light came through but nothing a sleep mask wont fix. The bed was so comfortable and soft and it was hard to get out in the mornings and not sleep in. The location and cost was some of the main reasons I went with this accom. The 3 sister is a bit of a walk but driving is so much quicker (2mins) then driving to Scenic World is only 5 mins away. We went to Katoomba RSL which was only down tbe road in the town and we even went to The Carrington a famous restaurant/estate there. We had a fancy beer at The Bank bar and a local beer at the pub which was around the corner and watched the footy. Food is everywhere, we enjoyed alot of it in around Katoomba and bought it back to the room. Before you book, check and see ALLl the lookouts and waterfalls in the area, catch a sunrise or sunset, theyre the best. We went to Cahills Lookout at dusk when a storm rolled in. Was definitley an experience I wont forget. If you have a low car, go around the corner (turn left) straight from the main sloped entrance and youll find a better driveway to get in. There are no staff attending this property, which is seemingly more common now, if you have any queuries or requests ask when you book.

Great locations! Just a few minutes walk from the 3 sisters and about 15 minutes to the town centre. The property was spacious, super clean and comfortable. We booked last minute and we’re so glad we did! Felt safe and happy the whole time we were there and the staff were attentive and there if you needed them! The amenities in the room were great and everything we needed. The owner (Jason) even offered to take us to the train station when we were leaving! Lovely man and can’t thank him enough!

Great Location. Walkable distance to scenery lookout in Blue Mountains. Lovely room. Stable shower for warm water. Although we didn't have a chance to meet the owner, but we had communicated with him through a speaker phone outside the office. He is fast in answering our queries, and provide assistance very efficiently. If one likes to stroll around and/or without car, it is quite accessible to the restaurant areas and train station. There's heater under the mattress, so we can have cozy sleep throughout the night.
