The location was great, within easy walking distance of the beach, shops and main attractions in Kiama. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights, so a larger fridge would have been handy … the one we had was very small. We also think we may have just been unlucky, but on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed there we had people in the rooms next door who constantly slammed their doors and sat up late talking very loudly! Perhaps they could attach some sort of soft closing mechanism for the doors so they don’t slam loudly when people close them.

Most aspects. I do enjoy a power point near the bed for charging the mobile phone over night and having it near to tell the time when needed. The facilities were very good. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and presentable. I enjoyed the presentation of the bedding on arrival.

On the booking form I requested a ground floor but received and upstairs room. There were down stairs rooms unattended for my stay. The air conditioner remote was low on batteries and could not complete all functions until I notified the office the next day. All remotes need adequate operating instructions to be present. The room is a little congested. A luggage rack is needed.

Easily the most comfortable bed my wife and I have slept in, away from home, for decades. Sharon was lovely at reception when we arrived. We are coming back this weekend. Yay! It was a short walk into Town and the Bowling Club, where we were attending an event, However, the Club had a Courtesy Bus and the fellow driving, whose name escapes me at the moment was lovely too and he picked us up and drove us back afterwards.

I was pretty happy with everything really. No dislikes at all.

Close to main shops, clean apartment

Myself and my sister stayed a night here, and we loved it. From arrival everything was so easy. We had hoped to drop our bags into a storage room as we arrived early, but the lady went further and got us a room that was ready so we could check-in - no extra cost. The room was simple, but comfortable and clean. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and there were loads of towels provided.

Absolutely nothing, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and we'd stay longer!

Stayed before. Excellent!! Booked direct. This time went through booking.com. Requested downstairs room as wife struggles with stairs and received confirmation we had a downstairs room but when arrived, where told we had bòked upstairs in 17. Air con was very noisy and erratic. Very clean and all the staff are lovely.

Air con carried on going up, down, on, off but put out warm air. At about 3am we turned it off and put up with the cold until morning. Was Òk. No big deal. Bed was warm.

This is a great place for a short stay in Kiama. It's within walking distance of the railway station and the town centre which was important for me. The rooms have all also been recently refurbished. Everything I needed was at hand and the staff I met were very friendly.

There wasn't much I didn't like. The coat hangers supplied in the wardrobe don't all match so if matching coat hangers is a thing that will upset you better stay away 😁

The room was excellent and very clean. We stayed in the executive suite on the 19th and we couldn't be happier. Location is lil annoying only because of the area itself nothing to do with the hotel. But other then that absolutely loved the stay there. Infact we booked a standard room with the lovely Sharon for Friday the 20th aswell because we didn't want to leave.

Nothing bad at all

This area is expensive so this little motel is probably your best bet. Very good facilities, wifi, hairdryer, iron, and the kettle with tea and milk was very welcome. Bed was comfy and shower powerful. Not too far from the centre, and well located for the beach. I did find the price too much for the room, but as I said, it was one of the cheapest in Kiama. All in all, a good stay.

Motel 617 is not far from the shops, beaches, etc, is very clean, comfortable and ideal for an overnight stay or longer. Everything you need is there and staff are friendly and helpful. We chose Kiama to break our trip and we are so glad we stayed here, especially for the comfortable bed, great shower and a good nights sleep.

Everything was OK for us.
