Rhyss and Leanne are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble. (This is our 3rd stay here). They are very knowledgeable of the area and only to happy to help with suggestions to make your holiday great. You can walk to shops, clubs, restaurants and cafes, beaches. Tourist attractions like whale watching are close by. Great walks along the waterfront, sunrise if you are awake or sunset is amazing.

Some kitchen utensils were yuk. I really needed to wash before I used them.. frypan still had grease in it......so just washed everything!!! in dishwasher .You can't rely on previous guests to clean kitchen equipment. Would have expected a king size bed, not a queen, however was very comfortable. A bit noisy from apartments above and also main road traffic. 9.30am check out not great when you have to leave apartment clean.

The owners were lovely people and very helpful with information on activities to do , places to go and eat and just general information about the area .Very welcoming The place was clean and a lot or room ideal if travelling as a family .Close to town and 2 mins walk to the Beach and to the playground. The apartments were serviced with all the basics,washing machine ,drier very clean towels and bedding. They were also very generous with cutlery,cooking utensils, etc. was very impressed by that.

Large apartment with a great view and friendly manager. Had all the basics, good for a few nights stay. Close to the beach, nice walking paths and a good playground. Easy access to town across the bridge. Reliable wifi and good value for money.

Advice for future guests... look at a map and accept it's close to the airport so you will hear some loud noises during the day. Ignore the name and understand it's more of a motel than a luxury apartment, set your expectations accordingly, but if you're not after a luxury escape it does the job perfectly well.

Spacious unit, comfy beds, had everything we needed for a two night stay.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the unit. It was spacious, clean and fine for our needs and Rhys was friendly and welcoming. However, I didn’t think it lived up to the “luxury” advertising. The decor was a bit dated and the furniture quite basic. Toilet paper, toiletries, dishwashing tablets, teabags etc were rationed (which, again, was fine for a two-night stay but would have been annoying for a longer stay). 9.30 checkout definitely isn’t “luxury” and the proximity to the road wasn’t clear from the photos. If it hadn’t been described as luxury I would have been perfectly happy but as it was I was a little disappointed. But I would stay again as there was nothing wrong with it apart from the expectations it set.

Unbeatable location, walkable to town, beach, lake and local cafes. The views from the room and balcony are STUNNING, plus it's excellent value for money. Staff are lovely and the rooms are huge. Great air flow in rooms plus ceiling fans and air con. Furniture inside is clean and modern. Main bathroom is enormous and I was so relieved to find a hairdryer was supplied! Balconies are large and the outdoor furniture is comfortable to sit and enjoy the views. The overall property is immaculate. Pool and BBQ area is clean, gardens are manicured and parking is great, with an allocated spot for each room and a carport so your car stays cool. Check in and check out is really easy. There's a lot to love about Sails and I'm sure we'll stay again -- this was our 2nd stay.

My only minor complaint would be that the mattress and pillow wasn't super comfortable for me, however I will say it's impossible to cater to everyone with this.

Sails Luxury Apartments are in a perfect location for walks to the beach, main street and the boardwalk. We stayed in a two-bedroom coroner apartment with a wonderful view over the Lake and Merimbula Bridge. The apartment was large, well equipped and clean. Undercover Parking was at the back of the complex. Very friendly staff happy to help.

Bathrooms and bedroom furniture are a little bit dated.

location was great, lovely & clean apartment, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer were all in good condition & nice and clean. Rhys was lovely to chat to and made us feel very welcome he also let us know he was there at any time if we needed anything

hot water in shower was only just warm, we did not have to turn the cold water tap on but this did not have any effect on our time there

We only stayed for two nights in winter but the apartment had great facilities, including a spa bath and Netflix. The view was really nice over the inlet with a clean, wide balcony to sit at while enjoying a cuppa of an evening. Great location a few minutes walk to the ocean beach, may be a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant area in town over the bridge. A five minute walk to the next street over for a fish and chips takeaway that was open at night. It was also nice to walk to the ocean beach then around the inlet entrance and back along the inlet to the apartment. There was a petrol station one minute drive south that was convenient when we needed to fill up and also had some basic groceries if you did not want to drive the five minutes into Merimbula for Woolworths. Check-in was easy. We used the phone provided beside what used to be reception and Rhys appeared in a few seconds to tell us where our apartment was. The check out was to make sure the apartment was clean, empty the bins, leave the keys inside and the door unlocked. Parking was under metal-roofed area a few steps from the apartment.

Nothing that I can think of, it was all good.

Exceptional View over the waterway which was just across the road. Brilliant view of the sun setting from the balcony. Short walk or drive to town, the lakes entrance or beach.

Cancellation Policy. Should consider unavoidable medical conditions preventing a booking from being meet and needing to be cancelled at last minute due to inability to travel based on medical advice.

Comfortable bed, clean apartment, lovely view, accessibility to all facilities. Our children and grandchildren were staying in other apartments in the complex. The children really enjoyed the heated pool.

Didn't like the 9.30 departure time - too early. Didn't like all the notices telling us what to do and not do. This information should have been in the compendium.
