It was back off the road providing peaceful accommodation. Helena is friendly and happy to share dining recommendations (which were awesome). Beds were super comfortable, room clean and well equipped (good aircon, microwave, small fridge, large tv, plenty of powerpoints) and wonderful hot shower. Lovely view from rooms 9 & 10 with outdoor seating. Best value for money, would stay again.

It’s an older style property but with all the comforts needed for a short stay or holiday.

On arriving the host gave me a tour of the outside views and had pride in his accommodation and location. Everything was above my expectation. It was quiet even though the walls were shared. Close to shoreline for walks if you have a car. Room was great. Everything installed to give it a homely feel. However it was a bit small if not traveling alone. However they have bigger rooms. Couldn't have hoped for better with such friendliness and welcoming.

Everything was great. They might have done with a sensor light to give more lighting to the step outside the room door to the car as it was a bit steep so for me not being as nimble as I was once, it would have been appreciated.

A beautiful spot with a really nice outdoor area to catch the sunrise or see the Milky Way at night. The property has so many features like a bbq to cook your food, a spot to have a fire and is pet friendly. During our stay we were offered fresh towels, shower curtain, coffee, milk and a quick clean daily. The owners and staff check in when they see you and are so lovely to talk to.

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The shower was the best with great water pressure. Room was lovely clean and comfortable and warm. Great little motel to stay at. The owner was absolutely friendly and very helpful. Love the fact it is also.pet friendly for travellers. Close to all shops and town. Very happy with my stay. Definitely will be comming back to stay.

I liked everything no complaints

Although this is an older motel it has been nicely refinished. The kitchenette is very well stocked with utensils etc. The drop down table is a great idea for utilising the space efficiently. Very nice well maintained grounds. Covered designated parking in front of the room. Bed was comfortable. Not the largest room we have stayed in but perfectly adequate. Enough room to have 2 suitcases open and still move around. I would recommend

Fantastic hosts. So much care and attention to detail. Very welcoming and ensured we settled in after a 5hr drive. On check-in Helena took the time to point out the local attractions, places to dine etc. The gardens are beautiful and the property is well maintained. Our rooms had everything we required. The beds are so comfortable with lovely contemporary linens. Big fluffy pillows. Great aircon. We will be staying there on our return trip. Nambucca Heads is a spectacular spot for a Brisbane to Sydney stopover and fabulous for a longer holiday. We are planning an extended stay in the future. Jabiru was perfectly setup to accommodate our dog. We highly recommend Jabiru when travelling with your pouches.

We liked everyone and everything.

I am looking forward to staying here again, with my dog. It is so difficult to find accommodation that allows you to bring your dog. So it was such a relief when the hosts made me and my dog feel comfortable. I am surprised there are not more places that accommodate dogs. The motel was lovely and clean, which was a relief after the previous place I had stayed in.

I booked a stay at the Jabiru Motel for the past Christmas vacation and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The motel was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable and spacious rooms. The location was also convenient, with many local shops and restaurants within close proximity. I would definitely recommend the Jabiru Motel for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. This is also a nice choice as a stop for a long road trip from Sydney to Gold Coast.

The parking space is full of stones. It would be better to be more flat because the stones ruin vehicle tyre a bit.

Helena (owner) was so friendly and welcoming, really went out of her way to be kind and helpful. Room was comfortable. Nice location on the river. Kitchen facilities good. Lovely shampoo and conditioner in bathroom! Fan and aircon good. Laundry on site

Being close to the river sadly lots of mozzies :( Laundry facilities quite expensive and needed coins (but Helena able to change a note so all good)

No breakfast, enjoyed my stay driving from Sydney to Qld. Very clean, lovely accommodation for me and my fur baby. Had some car troubles on checking out and needed to head into town and hosts went the extra mile and took care of my fur Abby, 14 year old Lhasa Apso, very anxious and suffers from separation anxiety. The lovely ladies Helena & Co took her into their private home until I returned.
