The location of this hotel right on Newcastle Beach would be hard to beat. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet our requests. The food in the bar, room service and breakfast buffet was delicious. We stayed for a week and the quality was consistent.

The underneath carpark is a bit challenging with limited manouvering space. But we managed our SUV okay. A useful tip that we learned after arriving is to pull up at the hotel garage intercom and tell them you are checking in and they will let you in. Otherwise, there is no parking available while you checkin. No porte cochere.

To be honest the real reason you stay at Noah's is for the ocean view. If you are expecting on-site facilities like a gym or a pool you need to look elsewhere. The rooms are clean and basically furnished, though with not enough power sockets in handy locations. Parking under the hotel is an adventure because the spaces are very very narrow. Mostly we ate out, but on our final morning we ate breakfast at Noah's and it was disappointing. Even with a small discount for being residents it was still about $30 a head. The options weren't very good, the scrambled eggs were dry, I've no idea why the baked beans were called baked beans, and a decaf coffee was extra. Like why? So don't bother. Take the light rail and find somehere else such as the Happy Wombat which was great.

The rooms were amazing super clean the house keeping staff and reception staff and most of the restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming bar a couple that were quite rude,

We had multiple rooms booked for our wedding guests used the restaurant for 26 people all of which were also staying there dinner was a condensed menu the waitress serving looked like she hated her job and was slamming plates on the table With everyone there and all of us spending as much money as we could in house we asked to hire some space as well for our bridal parties to get ready in and told no very bluntly I guess because we weren’t hold the wedding at the motel maybe I don’t know but was a room free on my floor on the day

We were upgraded. Balcony overlooking the sea Comfortable bed. We were rescued by the staff in the laundry who dried the only pair of long pants I had after a disaster in the previous hotel. They were really lovely. The barmaid was very nice and made us feel welcome (the one with the colourful hair)

There's a window in between the bathroom and bedroom. When I visited the bathroom when my hubby was asleep, the light shone into the bedroom and woke him up. The window makes the bathroom less private and it serves no purpose at all.

The room was great and had an amazing view from the window. The balcony was small with nowhere to sit but it was still nice to be able to open the doors and have fresh air. The staff were very friendly and check in and out were easy. Free parking was a bonus and the location of the hotel opposite Newcastle beach was perfect. It was walking distance to town for food and attractions and perfectly located for the walk to Merewether beach along the memorial walkway.

It thought it was expensive for a single room, but the views were amazing, so I guess that's what you pay for

My bank had a malfunction that initially looked to me like my credit card had been stopped due to possible fraud. I confirmed my purchases and was told the account would be reactivated two hours later. I was stressed, my wife wad STRESSED. Two hours later none of my accounts were functioning! Noahs took it all in their stride--even to upgrading us to the best room in the house! The card was working early the next morning. Very stressful for us; no stress for Noahs. Thank you.

We have stayed here before, so we knew what to expect. We were upgraded to an ocean view room which was very nice. We also ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed that. Central Newcastle is only a short walk away, as is the harbour-side promenade. While the hotel is a little dated, it's very comfortable, in a great spot with tremendous views. Also, the complementary parking under the building is perfect.

Nothing. It was exactly what we were after.

Amazing ocean front room. Spectacular views from all angles. The dining room has an ocean view too. Our room was good though a little compact. Outdoor fold up chairs were available for the balcony, which was a little small and frankly a bit too scary for me up on the 6th floor! The location of the hotel is within easy walking distance of Newcastle centre, shops, cafes and restaurants, galleries and other places of interest. Underground parking on site. Staff were lovely around the hotel. Very pleasant stay.

The single bed was not required but it meant the beds were close together and there was no room for a bedside table on both side of the double. Meant we had to use both beds and share the bedside table, as we had nowhere to put our glasses, phones and cups. I know, 1st world problems! Also, not keen on a shower over a bath. Much prefer a walk-in shower. A little expensive but I guess you pay for the view.

Best location in Newcastle being right on the beach. Wonderful view of the ocean. Great accessibility to the beach, pool and beach cafe. Also really great to have the best ice-cream shop in Newcastle right opposite the front entrance to Noah’s.

On-site parking spaces were small. Did not appreciate the 5:00am phone call from reception because another guest could not get their car out of the parking space opposite our car, only to be called back 5 minutes later to say the guest had successfully exited the carpark. An apology for the disruption would have been appreciated.

The location of Noahs is exceptional. It is an easy walk to cafes, the beach, the pool etc. The sea view is fantastic & having a balcony to be able to go out on is great. The window in the bathroom is a quirky idea. Everything we needed for our stay is provided. Parking is super handy under or next to the hotel as parking can be an issue in this area of Newcastle. We have stayed at Noahs on & off for many years and always look forward to coming there to stay.

The pillows were pretty flat but everything else was great.
