Fabulous location and loved seeing all the adorable fur angels. Staff are so friendly & good fun and extremely helpful. Love the ambience, old worldly charm, felt like we had stepped into the 18th century. Breakfast was such a lovely touch. Loved the outdoor area upstairs, what a gem!

Would be nice to have option of cheese, tomato croissants/cheese tomato sandwiches, for those of us who do not eat ham, but to be fair there were options for vegetarians, spinach & ricotta rolls, frittatas, etc room was cute however will be requesting a bigger room next time.

Very warm welcome and information prior to arrival was great. Room 20 is extremely nice and spacious with a private balcony. I liked my stay so much I booked a second night. The cafe food and service is excellent. Lovely ambience.

Nothing yet it is a pity it has limited parking spaces but I was very fortunate to secure a parking spot booking considering I booked late for my stay. The staff were great in advising me on these bookings. Pity other guests slam the front door when exiting and entering. This is not the fault of the hotel as they buffer the door as much as they can - it is guests who don’t know the manner to close doors.

Room was fine for our one night stay. The location is excellent for a visit to Sydney. Close to many interesting and crucial places for shopping, history and to soak up the atmosphere. Virtually next door to Moore Park. Breakfast was fine - continental. We don't eat huge breakfasts. The cafe was excellent. We sat outside by Queen Street. Lots of atmosphere.

Would have been useful to know the 4 number pin to the carpark before arrived. Our car was stuck half way across the pavement and out on the road. One of us had to go to the office to get the pin. The phone wasn't answered.

My daughter and I had a lovely overnight stay in this lovely boutique hotel. We booked a basic room, which was perfect for our needs, was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. The location was great, very close to everything you’d want, but despite being in a busy area, it was very quiet at night (didn’t hear a thing). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were grateful for the secure on-site parking and the early check-in they were able to accommodate, and the complimentary breakfast we didn’t know was included until we arrived. Would happily stay again, amazing value for money.

The breakfast we had was a little underwhelming… lacking in taste and something wasn’t quite right about the texture (bacon/egg roll which was pre-made and heated up and toasted banana bread). Not a major issue but could’ve left a better impression as it was the last stop on our way out.

The staff were lovely and so accommodating. They went above and beyond and were very welcoming to everyone. The room was immaculately clean and I really enjoyed the breakfast and of course coffee. Location is another thing that is on point. Also great that they have parking. I love the idea it's dog friendly and best of all you wouldn't know because there's Zero dog smell.

Nothing I didn't like at all. I will be going back in the future. I have only left today and have already recommended this place to multiple people.

The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and the shower was wonderful!! The mini bar was really reasonably priced and the cold water saved our unprepared butts at the end of the day! The balcony was a lovely little plus and having somewhere to sit outside in the fresh air was great. Would absolutely be back!

Stairs only to the room might be a bit tough if you have bad knees or big suitcases, but that's the only downside we experienced. The room we had was also small, so you definitely have to be careful with doors.

Location is great and house is beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and it was very quiet and dark.

I’ve stayed in the bigger rooms previously which were wonderful, and stayed in the small room this time. The smaller room was a bit of a den, dark and a bit smelly. The light switch to the bathroom was also a bit broken. I also miss the nice buffet breakfast, healthy, meat free options were quite limited

Room was comfy and cosy with nice pillows, high ceilings and a nice little bathroom - good shower. Location is great - right at the apex of the Paddington oxford st shops/bars, queen st boutiques and centennial park. Walking distance to the entertainment quarter. Good street parking outside if you’re arriving at dinner time and leaving by mid-morning. Breakfast was the perfect amount to grab and go! Really simple entry system for late arrivals too - very well communicated by the hotel admin.

Not much, it was a great stay!

The location for access to the Eastern suburbs is perfect. Access in is very easy. The hotel offers a complimentary small breakfast (eg ham and cheese croissant and coffee, or yogurt/granola and coffee) for each guest. This was really effective and easy in the morning. Our room was a Pet Friendly room so it came directly off the parking lot, so access for pets was excellent.

Being in a Pet Friendly room means that you have a tiled floor and a lot less comforts that you would want. It definitely isn't a luxury hotel if you need a pet friendly room. But for the location and access it's very practical. Parking is a challenge...only about 8-9 spots for potentially 30 ish rooms. So we found we could not park inside the gate for our whole stay. The local precinct parking has 2 hour rotation between 8am and 9pm...so if you intend to leave the car for the day...watch out. Finally...the pet room did have an issue with ants. So be careful with open containers.

$10 breakfast included in the rate was a nice bonus, as the on-site cafe does good coffee. The location at the top of Oxford Street is close to a bus stop that goes straight into the CBD. It’s within walking distance of lively shops, several pubs and lots of eating options. It’s a gorgeous part of inner Sydney and close to Centennial Park. The building is old and quirky, with historical architecture mixed with modern conveniences.

It can be pretty noisy, being at a major road junction and with old rooms that aren’t soundproofed and doors that bang. It’s not easily accessible for mobility impaired people.
