The location was perfect for our short Sydney trip - 30-minute walk to the harbour front and good links to buses and train stations. The walks home also always felt very safe, even at night. The digital check-in was convenient for us as we were not 100% sure of when we would arrive. The cafe downstairs had a lovely relaxed vibe, super friendly staff, and served delicious coffee and breakfast. It seems equally popular with the locals as we observed when we based ourselves there for the morning to catch up on some work emails before our onward travel. The balcony for room 5 where we stayed was a welcome bonus. And top marks for lightning-fast WIFI.

Good job we didn't bring our big suitcases :-). We weren't expecting a big room, but yes - space around the bed is tight. The automatic lighting in the bathroom can also be problematic if you need to get up during the night and don't want to disturb your partner. On the plus side, no need to grope for a light switch in the dark. The digital keypad to the room was also mildly annoying as, unlike with the one by the front door, we needed at least 3 attempts for a successful log-in to our room. As this is a new property, the keypad might need upgrading to something more robust.

It was cute. it was in the heart of Darlinghurst. it was tidy. lovely!

i didn’t like the online check in. That took me over an hour for it to comprehend my check in.

love love love the interior! its quite small but everything is laid out perfectly, maximising all the spaces around. the check-in/check-out system is also easy. good location!

a little bit more of a storage space would be nice, perhaps add a small shelves next to the basin area? also it would be nice if some hooks are added on the bathroom door to hang the towels:) also, the first night we arrived, after showering the bathroom floor was kinda flooded as the water was going down the drain too slowly, we tried to check the drain and found lots of hairs, maybe cleaning was a bit overlooked in this part. but it wasn’t much of a problem the next day. still, overall the room is clean and tidy!

Great location. Right amongst all the restaurants and cafes with the train just up the road. And the best cafe right downstairs - their food was exceptional as was their coffee. I was initially apprehensive about the keyless entry but that worked out superb - not having to carry a key was a plus. Also streaming movies really easily, great internet.

The light in the toilet tended to come on too often (motion sensor) and switch off too soon. Its also a bit squeezy, but this is also a good trait, as you expect it in a place like this which was such good value.

Location was fabulous for my stay - close to the activities I was there for Ease of access to the building and room Cute funky room

Toilet roll holder was broken Sensor light in the bathroom - went off whenever I walked past the bathroom, which meant the noisy fan started too Sensor light went off while I was in the shower. It was fortunate I had turned the hall light on so I could still see Glass screen for the shower was too small to stop the water going into the toilet area, wetting said toilet paper which had to sit on the floor

Breakfast at The Sarah was wonderful. The best we’ve had for some time, and so healthy. My vegan husband was spoilt for choice.

The room, whilst comfortable and very well designed, wasn’t as clean as on our last stay. I had to retrieve something from under the bed……..😱…….the dust was thick! We were disappointed that, unlike our previous stay, we were not welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and some almond biscuits! It was such a thoughtful thing to do.

Very clean with comfortable bed. Modern fixtures. Excellent location in relation to St Vincent's hospital - only a three-minute walk. Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.

No refrigerator or toaster. The toilet space is very small so that you touch the wall when sitting, even if you are not very big. Had trouble finding the green button to exit the building - it's on the side wall quite a distance away from the door. Sign on the door needs to be more specific about button's location.

A lovely little spot that's perfect for a quick stopover. The room was small but for the two of us was perfectly fine, especially for the price we paid! I was surprised by the quality of amenities offered as well, the kettle in our room was fancy feeling haha. It was also comfortably quiet which can sometimes be hard to find around Sydney. I'll be in an around Sydney a few more times this year so will be looking into returning!

Very close to St Vincent’s hospital for visiting. The room was small but cosy and well appointed with hairdryer and iron etc. Being a solo traveller, I felt safe and secure thanks to the keypad entry required to enter the building. Ease of messaging staff with queries was great and they were so helpful.

Under the bed needed a good vacuum as there were balls of dust and fluff on the floor. A bar fridge would have been a welcome addition to the room.

Compact minimalist room with small luxuries Extremely comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Beautiful aesthetic and touches. Perfect for a one night stay - got in late and left before checkout, seamless check-in/out experience. Good value and competitive price point. I’d stay again.

Cafe downstairs is bizarre.
