The staff is so sweet and attentive! The view from the rooftop is amazing. The common areas are really cool to hang out and meet people. There’s so many activities planned and recommendations about what to do in Sydney. The dorms were very modern and the bunk beds are one of the best I ever had ! You also have many space to lock your stuff, every dorm has their own private bathroom. And most of them have a kitchen, I had a TV in front of my bed so that was also great to just chill and enjoy a movie.

The bathroom was really not at the level of the rest. Every water source was leaking in my room, there was always a puddle of water next to the toilet but the worded was the shower head that would spread water all over the floor even with the shower curtain closed. I think I really missed a bath mat, because without it, the floor was always wet and dirty.

Crew is super friendly and social, loved their vibes. Location is good, not too noisy. Curtains on bunks give privacy.

No power sockets, and not even a cheap lamp from ebay in the bunks (it's like 5 bucks a piece, don't be so cheap on such essentials..). Rooms (some at least) have en-suite bathroom but space is too narrow for toilet. Very few kitchen utensils and bowls, you need to be lucky to be able to hunt a knife sometimes. Again, pretty easy and cheap to solve. And despite the name, not that social, as there is no proper common space essentially, and the few there is in the kitchen and rooftop are closed at 9pm, way too early, so you're left with the hallway or the stairs in front of the building.

This must have been the first hostel where I had a kitchen AND bathroom within the room. This on its own was already luxury, but then also being able to take a bath. Me being a bath person, this made me more than happy.

I myself didn’t really didn’t mind, I don’t really have a lot of shame or problems with men entering the room. But with it being an all female dorm you would expect this not to happen. You will always have people who have previous trauma or religious believes where a man entering without really announcing it is not really optimal.

What a perfect location! Within 30 minutes lovely stroll you can be at the Sydney Opera House. This area is beautiful and there are so many choices of cafes and restaurants around to choose from when dining out! The beds were so so comfortable and large single beds with a privacy curtain, this may differ for each stay but as far as I’m aware this is the case for most beds! The cleaner came and hoovered all common room and also whipped down the kitchen and the sink area / bathroom so was perfect for someone like me who likes places to be clean! Next time I visit Sydney I’ll 100% be booking again! Oh and did I forget to mention you can see the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge from the roof top social area!

No hair dryer in bathrooms

Nearest train station king cross is 6 minutes away, many restaurants nearby, and friendly and approachable staff! Room always clean and bathroom smell nice and clean and i felt safe.

I stayed at a 4 all female shared room, with bathroom and a small kitchen. The oven smelled like it was cleaned a year ago. The bathroom was great, however, shower needed a little repair since small drops of water were dropping. This could be a problem for a light sleeper.

Location was amazing - 3 mins to subway, 1min to bus, tons of take outs, coffee places, restaurants, bars around, grocery store around the corner. The room was so big, and the beds were really comfy (6 female dorm). It had a private bathroom, kitchenette, fridge. Every bed had 2 sockets near. They cleaned room and the bathroom twice a day. Loved the vibe! Everyone was kind and helpful. Really enjoyed my week stay there:)

Friday and Saturday nights are quite loud (bring earplugs)

The rooms were spacious, the beds were so comfy and the pillows and they gave you an option with covers. There was even a kitchen in the room so we cooked every night to save money. Lots going on in the hostel too which was nice to meet new people and the AC worked well too. They had cleaners everyday that knocked before they came in and were super quick.

The women staff were lovely and very accommodating but the male staff we found rude on a few occasions within our group.

The overall state is very clean and worth the price. There's daily cleaning for bathroom as far as I know. The kitchen on the 3rd floor is very clean. The bed offers privacy with the curtains, there's an outlet and a night light at every bed. The storage under each bed is quite spacious, recommending bringing your own lock. The storage where you can borrow the keys is quite small, probably fit a carry on luggage.

The platform to the reception are stairs. I was struggling bringing my 30 inch suitcase up. Fortunately, there are lifts in the building.

We had a comfortable stay as beds were comfortable and shower was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good.

Kitchen area upstairs is extremely small when trying to cook and wash up. Downstairs kitchen is quite dark in the evening and not as clean and modern - could do with updating. The elevator wasn’t working but staff kindly offered to help bring my luggage up the stairs.

The name of the hostel speaks for itself. Really good for getting in touch with different people from different nationalities. Located in Kings Cross the hostel is perfect to easily access a lot of places by foot, train or bus. The rooftop is one of the highlights with view over Harbour bridge and opera house. Rooms have own bathrooms and kitchens as well as curtains on the bed which is great. Over all a really nice place to stay.
