I liked the big TV, the couch, the spacious bathroom, the floor length mirror, the soft bed and the helpful front desk attendant’s. I liked the layout of the electricity outlets, super convenient. It was close to where my conference was as well as a small market, a 711 and not far from king street restaurants.

I didn’t like how low flow the shower was. I didn’t like the small sized glasses in the room, I’d like a larger option. I’d like a knife of some kind, at least a butter knife and fork in the room. I didn’t like that room service stops at 830 but that fact isn’t written anywhere and it isn’t on the voicemail to explain why no one is picking up the phone.

The check-in and check-out processes are generally smooth and efficient. The staff at the reception are often praised for their professionalism and friendliness. The rooms are typically clean and well-maintained. They offer a comfortable bed with fresh linens, and the decor is modern and stylish. Room Service dinner by Rowley’s Restaurant was 10/10.

The hotel underground parking is quite confusing and tight with many pillar poles to navigate. The space isn't well designed. Breakfast at Rowley’s Restaurant is very limited and pricy for what is available.

The location is terrific in terms of being able to access the city and other locations. The staff are always friendly and try very hard to provide the best possible service to clients. Guest facilities are generally quiet. Availability of pool. Excellent buffet breakfast in keeping with other hotels of this caliber. The welcome pack that was provided to us was a nice touch.

Cutting costs by not providing bars of soap in the bathroom and ridiculously poor quality toilet paper. Bought our own from nearby convenience store. Room prices were over the top even understanding the time of year--on the verge of price gouging. Erratic restaurant hours and limited availability of meals were disappointing.

The location is fantastic. There is a bus stop outside the front door! If you like walking you can easily walk to the famous Sydney Fish Market and into the CBD. It is very close to all the cafes and restaurants on King St. Once you get the hang of the public transport you can get to just about anywhere from here. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The staff are friendly. I enjoyed using the outdoor swimming pool. The under cover parking is expensive but necessary and very convenient if you are travelling by car. This was my second stay here and I will definitely stay here again.

The in room airconditioning wouldn't turn off and made an annoying noise all night. It was easy to adjust the temperature and I didn't notice the noise during the day.

The room service was exceptional. Constant fresh towels, clean, bed was made daily, our rubbish was cleared out, new shampoos conditioner and soap as given daily. We had a great view of the sunset and sunrise.

If i had to be picky, the underground parking was very tight squeeze. But we explained to the reception and they were happy for us to park infront. Which was great.

Relatively quick check-in / check-out

"I recommend the self-service here" :-( I phoned the hotel to request a parking spot. Receptionist said "There's a new system. You have to book parking online." I've never heard such nonsense. If I am speaking directly with the hotel's front desk staff then they should be able to book parking for me - none of this off-loading responsibility to an online process - that's NOT service, it's the opposite.

The staff was really great. We were staying as a family, so had a lot of little requests pop up, whether it was to use the microwave or to grab an extra towel. They were very accommodating and very friendly. We checked in at night and had some issues as we were from abroad, but they were helpful and kind in helping sort out the issue.

The cost of the hotel is definitely on the higher end.

Perfect for attending RPA hospital. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Very close to local cafes.

I had the need to keep extending my stay. Each time I did so I gave the receptionist my card to pay. Each time I went back to extend again there was always money outstanding. Make sure you get a receipt after every payment. Even on my last day I owed them money. Parking was very awkward and ridiculously expensive when considering the cost of the rooms. The breakfast was always lukewarm.

We stayed here as we participated in City2Surf, the hotel was in a great spot and easy for public transport as the bus departed from across the road. The room was big and tidy. Coffee and breakfast from the buffet was also great!

The only thing I would have changed would have been that there was no toaster or microwave to make a meal in the morning before our race, in saying this, the room didn't have the facilities to store these items. The staff were kind enough to offer their lunch room microwave should we have needed it.

The room was comfortable and clean and mostly in line from what I expect for a decent business hotel.

While I was reasonably happy with the hotel I thought it was a bit expensive for what you get. I need to visit the hospital and medical centres nearby often of late and I would stay more often if it was better value for money
