From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted and given a warm, friendly, and amiable welcome. (Compared to my stay at the Wagga Wagga International in the days before staying here). To put this into context, I am writing this review sometime later, and still remember vividly, the lovely warmth and friendliness of both concierge staff - exceptional!! The room was very basic, well planned and I loved it! Hotel is in excellent location near the station and minutes walk to the town centre.

The bathroom sink was leaking out onto the floor, but this actually did not bother me. The staff later apologised. The service, room and location by far made up for this.

Location is very convenient to railway station and the main shopping street in Wagga Wagga. The restaurant offers some nice meals. Staff, both reception and cleaners were friendly and helpful.

Noise of plumbing from other rooms was sometimes noisy but not unbearable There was some traffic noise from the Sturt Highway but, again, not unbearable.

lovely modern clean bathroom with waterfall shower the bed was sooo comfy enjoyed the coffee machine ladies at front desk were so lovely. really friendly, welcoming and helpful :) wish i got their names to mention them in this !

only downside was i couldnt find an elevator. i had 2 large bags and my room was at the top floor - however this is my fault because i didnt check before i booked!

A big thank you to Naomi at reception who went above and beyond to help our family out after our car broke down and we made an unexpected after hours trip to Wagga via tow truck. We really appreciated the care she showed us and we had a comfortable overnight stay whilst we waited for our car. The flexibility was very helpful too. Much appreciated.

Well located at the head of Baylis, the main street. The staff were wonderful, happy and nothing was a worry. Reception went over the local map with us - we found the school hall for Saturday dance night, we walked the 2 km to Botanical gardens & found the zoo & aviary there. Checking out was a dream

The room. Freshly renovated. Comfortable bed and quiet and very clean.

I booked the property because it had a restaurant but on arrival was told the restaurant was closed, as it was a Sunday night. It was a great option for accommodation but check if restaurant will be open if arriving late or if it's a priority for a specific day of the week, which I didn't do.

I expected much less for such a bargain price. I was pleasantly surprised, rooms are not ultramodern, but they are cosy, very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Location was so central which was a bonus also

rooms are a little old, amybe needs a little upgrade in future but very comfortable nonetheless

The location was perfect for us as we wanted to be not too far from the hospital and main facilities, Beds were super comfy and staff amazing, Lyn the receptionist was an absolute Angel and her hospitality so appreciated during our visit.

A bit noisy the first night, staff called and issue resolved in a timely manner.

The location was perfect for a weekend spent in Wagga, right near the main stretch where the shops and restaurants are located. Walking distance to Victory Park.

Honestly the Astor Inn was everything I expected and needed for a weekend away. It was clean, tidy, the staff were great, and in a great location. There wasn't anything I didn't like.
