Clean, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Close to town. Restaurant on site is great when you are feeling lazy. Food and prices great.

Main road out the front can get a little noisy especially the trucks. It does quieten down by bedtime.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, appeared to be recently renovated and was scrupulously clean. Comfortable bed.

Plenty of lights and siren action of the highway woke us (there was a nasty accident further out of town). There is a restaurant onsite but it is operated independently. They had some large bookings (possibly Xmas gatherings) but accepted our request for a table. We were told to sit at any of the small tables. We were then totally ignored by the waiting staff, so we left. It is a fair drive from the site to any food outlet. While this shouldn't reflect on the motel itself, we did book our stay based on reviews that praised the restaurant.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, allowing for an early check in and recommending places to visit. The room was comfortable, and we could watch the sunset from the back door. Mosquito spray was on hand for any pests (forward thinking). Also, the shower was great.

There was some truck noise from the highway, throughout the night. Luckily, my husband and I were able to sleep fairly well. An extra pillow, on my head, did the trick. It could affect light sleepers. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The restaurant was closed but it didn’t matter. We were notified in advance.

This was a GREAT find. The welcome and care the dog and I received was EXCEPTIONAL. After booking online, I got a direct call back to check if we wanted a pet-friendly room. Our check in was so friendly that my dog wanted to stay in the reception office. The room was the most spacious one we've stayed in, good facilities albeit all hidden in cupboards. We had a light snack in the evening at the restaurant and slept very, very well. The morning walk to sniff the nearby sheep and cattle was invigorating to say the least. Yes, we would return if we were passing and needed to rest.

Great welcoming book with information, but perhaps the inclusion of the menu from the restaurant would be helpful to peruse before deciding to go over or out somewhere.

The rooms (we stayed twice) were a good size - you didn't have to squeeze past each other. The beds are very comfortable, and the good-sized TV has all the usual functions. The bathrooms are spacious and very well appointed - great showers, and towels just the right size. The restaurant (Rivergum) is outstanding - one of the best steaks I have ever had. Access is easy, with plenty of parking. (We left $2.10 in change on the table by accident on the way out: they recognised we were coming back, and it was waiting for us on arrival the second time).

We turned up for our booking and asked to stay for another night as we had friends who were coming to Wagga Wagga for the night and it was no problem and done with a smile, our room was clean and tidy, the bed clean and comfortable and the bathroom clean, we were also able to do some laundry. We ate at the Rivergum restaurant which is onsite both nights and had two excellent meals. Last but not least I left some clothes in the wardrobe when we left this morning and as soon as they were found Tammy from admin rang me to let me know and our friends who were still in town were able to pick them up for me. All in all a very positive stay and a big thanks.

Absolutely everything about our stay at Australian Homestead Motor Lodge was incredible. Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, we found it necessary to make changes to our original booking. Nothing was too much trouble, and all our changes were accommodated without hesitation. Everyone we dealt with at AHML went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The staff were fabulous; offering transport into town on our first afternoon, and suggestions of where to find flower arrangements in town. I would highly recommend AHML to anyone looking for accommodation near Wagga Wagga. As this was our second visit, I had absolutely no hesitation in rebooking, and if we visit Wagga Wagga in the future, I will not hesitate to book again. Thank you all at AHML making a hectic visit much less stressful.

The king bed room was larger & better designed than most motel rooms. It had a back door, 2 large, comfortable chairs in addition to the desk and bedside tables. And TV. It was a pleasure to step into the bright, clean bathroom. A wardrobe, ironing board and tea-making facilities were provided.The decor and finish of the interior was tasteful and uplifting, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. A restaurant has been opened on-site since our first visit and the standard of food served, the menu and service were excellent.

Can't think of anything I would have changed.

Very accessible and easy location to find the perfect distance from everything, very clean good sized rooms with everything you need, plenty of spare pillows and blankets, beautifully clean and modern bathroom (shower is a bit small and pokey but very clean and great water pressure) smart tv, nice dark towels/floor mat instead of white which is actually so nice and comforting. Close to the road so you do hear the occasional truck go by, but not enough to keep you up at night. Heaps of spacious parking. Friendly staff. Beautiful place.

Showers/plumbing is very loud from inside your room from your own bathroom and neighbours bathroom.

Very comfortable, sparkling large bathroom with spa bath, enormous rain shower head. TV in both rooms was appreciated. On-site restaurant with option to have breakfast served in the room. Great breakfast at good prices. Large comfortable beds.

We loved our stay and would stay again but here are some observations: - Could do with some form of heating in the bathroom. - a table and chairs would be great for the family room instead of the couch as there is no space to eat the breakfast if you order it - the breakfast took so long (in the restaurant) that we missed check-out time, even though it was ordered the night before. Wasn’t a problem for us but take into account if you are in a hurry to get on the road. The food was good though and well priced. -truck noise from the highway rattled the windows throughout the night - power points only on one side of the bed (but many in the room)
