Super friendly owners. Made you feel very welcome. The room was entirely what we expected. No it’s not 100% modernised but it was clean and the room had everything we needed and the price would have been way higher if it was totally up to date. It had a great pool. 10 mins walk into town - shops bars restaurants beach etc. Easy walk. Great bbq area around the pool if you want to eat in and cook. And we only stayed one night - so many places insist on two night minimum so we were very grateful for that. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Yamba.

Very hospitable and friendly owners. The room was very clean and a lot larger then we anticipated. It's in a good location and walking distance to the town, river and opposite the bowling club for an easy lunch or drink. Would come back for sure!

Wi Fi didn't work in one of the bedrooms is the only real negative (this only mattered because we have young children we were trying to put a movie on for, very minimal negative!).

Good value, we stayed there one night on our way home, room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 child, in door table and outdoor table that faced the pool, very nice. Rooms nicely decorated, bathrooms look like they've has some updates, slightly dated but everything was very clean and that's more important. Looked like a great outdoor BBQ area, right beside the pool. River at one end of the street and local bowls on the other good location.

Parking was tight but there was enough space for every room, we did get in quite late and have a large vehicle.

We were there to see a band playing at the bowling club which was across the road & perfect for us. It was close to the water & Main Street & the limited contact we had with staff was friendly & helpful.

It is essentially an older style motel & the pricing is expensive for what it is but does seem to be what all motel style accommodation is asking these days since Covid. We are not doing as many weekends now as we did pre-Covid as the cheap accommodation us locals use to be able to get as a little’getaway’ is no longer cheap!

Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was great close to main street and shops. At the end of the street was a river which was great to go for walks or bike rides. The park at the end of motels street was the location of local craft & farmers market. Immaculate BBQ near the pool was available for guests to use if required.

Our room was facing a small courtyard by the pool. Comfortable bed. Clean. Proximity to town. Walking distance to river and beach. Excellent service and extra help from the owners when our car broke down. We loved the resident dog Alfie. Highly enjoyable stay.

Very minor dislike was the hairdyer.

The room was spacious. 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Very comfortable mattresses and bedding. The room was very clean. The Sun Motel is a walking distance to all key attractions in the town centre area. Loved the bbq area. Dont miss the cuckatoo display at dusk!! Hundreds of them magnificent white galahs.

Parking was a bit tight but ok.

Our stay was overnight on a trip between Sydney and Brisbane. We were greeted cheerfully at reception. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was also a microwave for use. The Bowls Club is a convenient short walk away.

While the room was well presented, the bathroom vanity and mini refrigerator have seen better days. There was some traffic noise; however, it wasn’t overly distracting.

Room was so clean, bathroom and shower really good. Great spot close to Bowling club for dinner just across the road. plus a 2 minute drive to cafes for a coffee. Highly recommend.

Modern decor room. Bed and pillows really comfortable. So clean . Plus really close to get food and a coffee. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect stay for one night on our way back home to Victoria. Staff gave a good rundown on the ajacent area. Room was very clean and easy to access. Car parking good adjacent to the room. Bed was very comfortable. Motel is ideally located with Bowling club across the road. Very close to town and the beach.
