The kitchenette would have been handy if there was a grocery shop nearby to buy food. The beach was convenient but there was no way to hire a stand-up paddle board, the water was cold because it was winter.

The kitchenette while appreciated did not have any bench space at all. The bathroom, while functional, it didn't work well. The windows, while beautiful meant other guests could see in. The lawn, attractive, but we kept tracking grass through the room.

Lady at reception is just such a gorgeous human being. I arrived super early from a hospital stay and she kindly allowed me in to the room way before check in. The rooms are private and quiet and perfect for a solo traveller with the Carpark off the street and just outside the little cabin. The location is awesome as it's a short 50 step stroll to cafes and health food shop. These cozy villas are always my preferred place to stay when I'm in bagara.

The place was beautifully situated, just a couple of minutes from the seafront and very handy for various amenities - coffee shops, a nice pub, restaurants, fish and chips... We really liked the palm trees and the pool and the parrots. The room was quiet and we had everything we needed. My daughters loved the bunk beds. The people were very friendly and helpful; it was a great place to stay. Thank you.

Great location, lovely greeting when we arrived. The villa cool and clean with easy parking. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space for us all to use it without getting in each others way. Whilst there was no stove in the kitchen, there was a hot plate, electric fry pan and everything else you would need in the cupboards to prepare any food.

The recycling hadn’t been emptied from a previous stay and there was no cleaning product to use on the bench or table. The pool cleaner was left in the pool and was a little annoying to swim around, but these are just minor points. We had a lovely time and would return again

Great location one block back from the beach in amongst the shops. We looked across to the post office through palm trees which was quintessentially Queensland. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of places to hang towels. The decor was nicely retro and the colour schemes of the exteriors of the different units were tropical and quirky. I liked being on street level with no stairs or lifts to negotiate as we left and returned. There was good parking and a bit of tropical greenery wherever we looked. These cabins worked really well for our family with grown up teens.

There were no power points in the master bedroom so we couldn't charge our phones next to us overnight in order to hear the alarms in the morning. We couldn't use a hair dryer in the room with no power points. The strong fluorescent lighting in the main kitchen/lounge area made it hard to relax and there were no other floor or table lamps to provide soft lighting. It was either super bright or totally dark. They should add a coffee plunger to the kitchen equipment provided.

Bargara Garden Boutique Villas exceeded all expectations! From the spacious accommodations with separate rooms and attached bathrooms to the warm and welcoming owner, every aspect was top-notch. The outdoor pool and ample parking were fantastic additions, and the expansive dining areas made for delightful evenings. This gem truly combines comfort, hospitality, and relaxation seamlessly.

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The villas were very clean, had a well equipped & functional little kitchen. Ample space in the bathroom. Air cond, fans, internet, TV, parking & a private little verandah. It's an older place but so comfortable, functional & clean. Close to coffee shops, restaurants etc. We'll be back, we loved the little villas.

We had no dislikes, it was a cosy & relaxing stay.

The motel is a little out of the centre but not too far. We got an upgrade to the rear which made it quiet from traffic. Unfortunately there was a motor running all night which was annoying. The room was large and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was super.

There was nothing to dislike except for the annoying motor (may have been an air con nearby)

Lovely compact studio with all amenities, great as a stop over. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops.

I updated my arrival time to between 6-7pm, as I had not heard from the reception I assumed it would be open when I arrived, it was not and I had to call to get late check in information. Normal practice is to inform the guest prior to arriving.

The location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Bargara so you can walk to everything. The layout of the apartment one I had not tried before was unique. Very homely, lovely sofa bed and well equipped kitchen. Almost like someone's home. There's even another sofa in the little outdoor verandah part. Very comfortable. Great clean facilities and helpful manager. At least in thus unit I wasn't so bothered by the smokers in the villas. When the smoke drifts over if your sitting on your verandah.

Unfortunately the unit/apartment due to the size of the site was attached to another unit and the only separation is a wall and a locked door. I could hear a guy snoring. Also the bathroom is external to the unit itself attached in the verandah part. Which is probably great when it's hot but not so much in winter/spring. Otherwise it was fine. Buy there's still something about the place that keeps me coming back nonetheless.
