The owner was very accommodating and friendly. She provided a lovely breakfast of a good choice of cereals and spreads for the scrumptious sour dough bread. Fresh fruit and orange juice. The kitchenette was close to the bedroom, with a kettle, toaster and fridge. There was a lock on the bedroom door and a lovely private ensuite on our bedroom. Breakfast could be eaten anytime between 7am and checkout time at 10am. A lovely place to stay with a lovely hostess.

Nothing really. Though we didn't go to Mon Repos beach we did go to Bargara Beach which was lovely.

From looking at an Apple map the location looked within cooee of the beach but the green transit area I needed to cross to get to the beach was a golf course so I couldn’t go that way and had to detour for about 4km by foot since I didn’t have a car with me-but that was my fault

Really cosy room. Lovely breakfast. Lorraine is an excellent host so friendly. The price is so reasonable. And it's nice a shared breakfast helps shy people like me have a interactive experience with other guests. Lovely big house and feels homely. You end up leaving feeling like a relative.

Nothing really. Bnb's deliver a different experience from hotels and motels. There's a level of interaction with others that cannot be avoided. It's nice to be brought out of your comfort zone. Motels and hotels can seem so cold sometimes and this B&B is the opposite.

We received a warm welcome from Lorraine. She offered us breakfast but we declined as we were leaving early next morning. We both slept so well as the bed was super comfy, the area was extremely quiet, not a sound at all during the night. Our entrance was at the side of her home therefore we didn't disturb anyone coming back late that night, which we liked.

Breakfast was great . Lovely fresh fruit from the salad bowl of Qld. Our host Lorraine, very welcoming & hospitable. My husband loved Baxter, the host dog.

Perhaps more power points.The photo you have on Booking. Com is nothing like the property from the front. We had a totally wrong idea of what we were looking for. It is a large suburban house with a small street frontage.

I loved the fact that it felt like home away from home. Lorraine, and her beautiful little foxie cross, we’re absolutely beautiful and welcoming, even arriving to a hand written note as it was later than planned when I arrived on my first night.

Breakfast was great. Very impressed. Freshly cut up fruit, sourdough bread ready to toast when we were ready, yoghurt, variety of condiments, selection of cereals. Each guest bedroom had sliding door to the outside, so we could come and go as we pleased.

The weather.

Lorraine provided a e breakfast including fresh fruit which set me up for the day. Loved that it was pet friendly I would stay there again for that reason. Loved her dog Baxter. She also provide a run down of local amenities in the area

Can not think of anything I did t like

My daughter and I stayed two nights with our dog. The B&B is located in the centre of a cul-de-sac so very quiet with no traffic noise. Parking is safe and off the road on the grassed area. Our host Lorraine was lovely and very accommodating. Our bedroom opened out to a courtyard with private access. There is a table and chairs in a covered area in the courtyard where we chose to have breakfast. Our private bathroom and toilet was located beside our bedroom which was not a problem for us. The breakfast was lovely - fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt, cereal, bread for toasting, tea, coffee etc. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. We had a lovely stay and recommend this B&B - we would definitely stay there again whilst in Bargara.
