Did not have breakfast at hotel. Location was great and room modern and comfortable and did not smell stale.

More lighting in the room- in particular in the bathroom and also if one lift is not operating - check must be stagerred otherwise waiting for lift can be frustrating.

Staff were friendly & very helpful & personable so we're management although some took a bit of warming up but considering they had numerous staff as a whole they were great. Beds were really comfortable housekeeping were very helpful & sweet. The baby barramundi must have been premature though it tasted good for the 3 minutes that it took to eat it from The Pantry restaurant. .Room had a comfy-for-one, smallish couch, decent size tv & comfortable large twin beds with quality bedding. Lots of power points throughout the room and was grateful to be able to take a bath (shower over bath older style hotel bathrooms but larger than most.

It was a bit of a bummer they were renovating the days I stayed but did well keeping construction noise to a limited time & brief spurts. No view from the room really. Could hear the active couple next door daily so glad I don't have kids to have to explain that to although entertaining for me so I didn't complain. This Hotel will be even better once renovations are complete I imagine. Alright price for a 4-5 star hotel. I would definitely stay again if they'll have me. I'm used to a pod coffee machine in the room when staying at hotels of that calibre although they did have their own hotel cafe so that must be why.

Staff very friendly, and parking convenient and not that expensive for inner city Brisbane. Our room was one already renovated and the finishing was very stylish. Bar fridge content was complimentary and a pleasant surprise.

The current renovations add to a lot of confusion. Arrival was a very confusing experience, it took us, and other guests a while to work out how to get to the lobby- they need more signposts to direct guests. There werent instructions for the smart TV in the room, and it was not really intuitive. It took a bit of playing with the remote. The TV then kept asking for sign on details while free to air channel was playing - it was quite annoying so we eventually turned the TV off. A page to just highlight features and a how to guide will be useful. Not many family friendly eateries in walking distance, and hotel restaurant was a bit exy. Overall not really for families

I only stayed for one night. Everything was excellent. Fast check in. Helpfull staff. I was a little winded upon arrival so the lady at the counter gave me a glass of water to drink while she was doing my check in. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is near central station and shopping area. If you are arriving from central station on foot and with bags there is a short part of the street with a little incline and a narrow sidewalk that can give you trouble. Did not have breakfast in hotel so this I can not rate.

The hotel was under renovation so the lobby is very small and there was a little noise present. The hotel did inform me of this when booking so it was minor inconvenience for me. No complimentary water in fridge.

My twin room was large, clean, with a nice couch with the table at the large glass window, just like the photos depict it. The hotel is currently under-going some reconstruction, which I was notified in time. There was no warm water in the bedroom, the staff reacted in seconds and it turns out one needs to let the water flow for a few minutes (due to current constructions).

As is with many hotels, I really disliked the central control of the air conditioning without the possibility to even switch it off. The room temperature was 18-20deg C but, for me personally, that was very cold.

The beds were comfy and clean, and the bathroom was clean. It was a shower/bath combo, and it did have quite a high tub, which could be an issue for older people or people with mobility issues. The location was great, and there was a train station only a short walk from the hotel. I also liked that the room had a card energy saving switch, so I didn't have to worry about turning off the lights and aircon before leaving the room. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

The room was a little bit dusty in places, but I didn't have a major issue with it. There are facilities for tea and coffee, but there's not really a mini-bar, if that's an issue for people, but once again, it wasn't an issue for me.

The buffet breakfast was fabulous and great value for money. Excellent hotel very close to Brisbane Central Railway - not that you can hear the trains. Really great for train travel, easy walk into the city or to Riverside and the wharf. very clean comfort hotel with excellent friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel

Hotel was undergoing some renovations which we knew when we booked. Sometimes the lift was slow but apart from that the work did not disrupt us at all. So not really a complaint.

Amora was modern, spacious and clean and offered almost all the facilities you could want. The hotel was surprisingly quiet most of the time and there were always sunbeds available by the pool, which was clean and decent sized.

There were no huge drawbacks when it came to this hotel. The location of Amora was about a 15 minute (hilly) walk from all the main shops in brisbane. The pool only had limited sunlight hours as the hotel was closely guarded by the building next door. The gym facilities were slightly outdated The staff almost tried a bit too hard (staring and smiling at us as we walk through the lobby to the lifts).

Modern, super clean rooms. Twin room has two queen beds. The rooms are quiet, temperatures can be set for each room, bathrooms are clean and come with lots of soft towels. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and a fridge. We asked for a high floor and got a room on level 12 with lovely views. Overall, the hotel itself is fantastic. Located 2 minutes walk from central station, supermarkets nearby, easy to access taxis etc.

We ate a buffet breakfast the first morning at $32/person, this I would NOT recommend (food wasn’t great, too expensive especially for 12yo who don’t eat much but pay adult prices). We also ordered room service, food looked ok but the taste was bland.
