RECEPTION STAFF, BREAKFAST AND ROOM The reception staff were very helpful. At breakfast, the croissants and apple cake were both delicious. The service was excellent particularly Mary, the catering assistant. She was helpful, and conscientious with detail cleaning. Mary has a beautiful smile. The room on the 11th floor was lovely with a superb view over Brisbane city. T

BREAKFAST AND HOUSEKEEPING There was not much choice with the food for breakfast. It would have been better to have 'proper' eggs rather than the eggy powder used for the scrambled eggs. Poached eggs would be a welcome addition. The ham/bacon was under or over-cooked most mornings. The housekeeping staff didn't always remember to change the towels and the room was a bit dusty in the corners. Detail cleaning needs to be improved.

Location is close to the central station and major attractions incl. CBD shopping centre, southbank, and Story Bridge are in walking distance. Be aware if you’re walking with heavy/many luggages, it could be a challenge because you have to walk on an inclined road. Standard room comes with a big fixed window & city view. Breakfast included has limited options, but it’s enough for a simple meal in the morning. On-site parking is available with a reasonable amount of charges added on the room prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping could have more attention to details: the surface of one of our bedside tables was a bit sticky, and the toiletries dispenser near the basin was misplaced with conditioner instead of hand wash (and because it’s locked on the wall we cannot change it with the hand & body wash bottle in the shower room on our own). Wall mounted toiletries is not very ideal for safety and sanitary reasons anyway.

The location was good for my stay. A good workout walk to Brisbane Mall and walk to Grand Central Hotel for an excellent meal. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with quite good back support. Quirky frosted glass walls of the bathroom took a little getting used to. Free shower products available in room. A buffet breakfast was available, offering a good selection to choose from. Checking in was smooth and staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions. Basic tea/coffee available in room and a cafe coffee can also be purchased at reception.

I’m still not sure about frosted glass walls of the bathroom. Whilst unique and it grows on you I still prefer having some privacy.

Was greeted by well mannered and energetic staff. Always asking if there was more they could do for us. The 24 hour Food service was great and they were very happy to assist me with any questions. The food they prepared was good and priced right.

The Gym could use a little more care, wasn't cleaned regularly. The water was not replaced twice during my stay. could use some more equipment like heavier weights and medicine balls possible bars as well. The breakfast could have a little bit more variety and even a bit of organisation.

Staff were really happy to assist with storing my hired wheelchair for me. I liked being able to indicate that we didn't need housekeeping without feeling rude of being hassled but rather framing this environmentally.

Breakfast always seemed chaotic and there weren't enough hash browns! eg I stayed for 12 days and they were only available once throughout my stay

Reasonably good location. Hill can be a bit of a struggle. Convenient to Central Station and Airport Line. Modern rooms including bathrooms.

slow checkin and checkout. Rooms are quite small. Breakfast repetitive when staying more than a couple of days.

Clean & pleasant staff

When in checked in I asked for a late checkout to 11am. No problem. But between 10am and 10.40 I was disturbed twice by housekeeping knocking on the door seeing if I was still there and again by telephone from reception asking why I had not checked out yet. Very annoying. The reason I wanted a late checkout was for a little more rest after a late function the night before.

Arrival was late and reception was a bit casual. Even though we're elderly no one offered to help with our bags. Breakfast was great, plentiful and tasty, Staff glad to keep watch on our bags until it was time for us to cathc the Spirit of Queensland train at Roma Street Station.

Nice, clean apartments with option of interconnecting rooms The opaque walls of the bathroom sure was a talking point around the group!

Bedding arrangements and same level rooms were confirmed via email prior to group stay however upon arrival, the group was split over 2 levels and unable to go between levels due to elevator restrictions. No bacon provided in buffet breakfast!

I absolutely loved the stay, It did actually exceed my expectations and was great value for money. This is as honest as I can be. I cant rate the place and staff well enough. Even the off street parking is plenty of space and convenient

Its only a small gripe but I eat keto, and the breakie although has heaps of options, theres only a couple of keto options. Still, thats my issue and the rest of the unlimited breakie looks awesome
