The service and food selection at the restaurant - waited over 40mins from placing kids order obviously 3 little kids under 5 are hard to entertain no high chair offered. No cakes coffee snack options. Pool not heated lost kids car in pool no offer to help retrieve it with net. Rooms were HOT uncomfortably hot. Tried to turn heating down wouldn’t and no instructions on how to - reception were busy

Breakfast service in the room was on time and hot. The towels were clean and soft. The bed was well made. Little touches were much appreciated eg folded toilet paper on the toilet roll, a message card from the person attending to the room

The air conditioner was difficult to control...There was no choice for hot and cold temperature. You had to stay with cold as it was locked. When it tried to increase the temperature it would go back to its set gauge. When I wanted to turn it off completely I had to take the card out of its slot and I had no light in the room. It was tricky to navigate!

The IBIS was booked out, so opted for the more expensive Pullman. And it's worth it — gets your holiday off on the right foot. The restaurant in the hotel was great (last order at 9PM). Check-in was a breeze (the IBIS had a queue when I walked past). The hotel offers an $8 (per seat) shuttle to the international airport — which is fine — I was anticipating a free one, or instructions on how to use the domestic airports free transfer. You can easily walk to the Pullman from the domestic — there is signage outside that directs you to the air bridge walkway. The staff was great.

No free shuttle as mentioned above. The temperature settings for the shower is fussy. No mini-bar in the room — there's a QR code for the menu — & you call reception. The menu listed 'chocolate bar' & 'chocolate block'. Very descriptive...

Service was great. Eleanor, I think it was, seemed to love her job and was warm and engaging. The room was fitted out tastefully - really loved the thick carpets. Bed was comfortable. Fluffy robes. What more do you need?

Typical of a lot of hotels, the AC controls were far from intuitive and didn't seem to really work. The room was a bit warm as a result. And I couldn't be stuffed troubleshooting. Ordered room service. Two club sandwiches arrived and they had avocado on them? Not per the menu. Sent one back - my partner likes avo so that was fine. A replacement came fairly quickly but they'd replaced the Beerenberg sauce with some crappy Heinz. Should have pinched the jar from the first plate.

No complimentary airport transfers Parking onsite - $40 overnight, super expensive Pool location - had to walk through the bar to get to the pool and bar patrons overlook pool which is a bit creepy. Also needs more shaded areas to escape the relentless Aussie sun, only 2 loungers had shade, ground was boiling hot 🔥

Nick at the bar was incredible - please pass on our thanks to him, he really made our stay. He is friendly, professional and just has a way to make you feel special. You can tell he takes so much pride in his workspace and making it his own. His service is impeccable. We were staying at the hotel for a night before our international flight back to Canada having just come from the Hayman island resort, I can tell you that Nick's service was well and truly 10000% better than any of the service we had received at our prior hotel. It was a breath of fresh air. Thank you, Nick!

Excellent friendly reception staff, very pleasant room and efficient follow-through on bookings/requests (eg. wake-up call and shuttle bus booking). Beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet.

For the tariff charged, I thought the room was a little narrow and spartan (lacked any wall decorations from memory) and a couple of biscuits (or chocolates) would've been appreciated to go with a cup of coffee/tea. Also thought the walk from the domestic terminal was rather long (with an elderly mother) and not well sign-posted (ie. we were not expecting to have to walk through the carpark building to continue following the route to your hotel).

It was our last night in Australia celebrating our wedding anniversary. Hotel did a simple and lovely decoration with chocolates for my little girl and free cocktails for hubby and myself.

It’s near to the domestic airport but a distance to walk with no shuttle bus and having to pull out luggages along in the middle of the night.,Glad the reviews from other clients shared the way to the hotel. No information was provide by the hotel despite my ask. There was shuttle bus provided from the hotel to the international airport in the morning but we had to pay A$8 per pax.

Very friendly staff, easy check in and check out, close to airport, excellent club sandwich from room service. I didn't use the pool or gym as I was only there for a very short stay between flights.

I really enjoyed my stay. Only reason, I'm not putting a 10 is because there were a few features that needed to be replaced like carpet (obviously dropped bleach or similar substance) and paint (chipped from repeated suitcase and trolley hits), which is really hard in a hotel like that because you would have to close off an entire floor.

Having 2 rooms together, and being able to go for a swim, but missed having a spa after to warm up! Having the towels and room down by pool was a great idea. The staff were lovely and helpful.

My husband tried to have a bath whilst I was having a nap. He got one foot in then really struggled to get the other in with the bath being so high. There was nothing for him to hold on to which I was disappointed in, and was very thankful that he didn't fall. Maybe something to think about if you know a physically challanged person is staying with you, hand rail by both the bath and toilet. There was also something orange spilt on the hallway carpet, but otherwise it was lovely and clean.
