The resort was good. Very clean . The cleaners would come everyday to take the Rubbish, change your towels etc . Nice pools , good staff Big apartments and the location spot on .

If I wanted to stay all day in pool ,I couldn’t. Would be so boring . the Bar/Cafe was open from 7am till 10 am . And then from 3pm till 7pm. If I wanted a drink or a coffee between 10 to 3 I couldn’t. Also in all resorts I have been to, there is a bit of music . There was no music , and once I tried to put some music ,I was told to put the volume down . I know it’s a family resort but still no drinks coffee and music . I was on holiday . The cafe area was really nice . We didn’t get to enjoy much .

We had a really great stay at RUMBA. We were allocated an apartment on the same level as the pool and bar which was greatly appreciated as we had 3 children with us so this made it easy to access the pool etc. We had a 3 bedroom apartment and it was spacious and sufficient for our stay. We had a stunning view of bullocks beach. The location is good with cafes and restaurants below the hotel as well as it being within walking distance 5-10 mins to Main Street and shopping centre. We also walked along beach track down to the big wheel and grabbed coffee each morning. There are heaps of parks along the way. We loved bullocks beach because it has a huge beach - sand area, the water is shallow and calm, perfect for kids! We enjoyed happy hour from 4-6pm $14 cocktails. My toddler knocked a full drink and the gentleman at the bar replaced it for free- which was greatly appreciated!! We stayed 4 nights and it was the perfect amount of time. Probably wouldn’t stay for longer as we’d probably get bored.

If I had to pick something to criticise, the pool areas dont get a lot of direct sun but that’s just the positioning of the resort facing the beach when the sun rises to the left of property and sets on right rather than in front/behind. We got a premium room and I expected the kitchen to be renovated too but it wasn’t - but we still loved our apartment. I’d be hard pressed to find things we didn’t like. We had such a lovely stay.

Great facilities. Pool was amazing. Our room was perfect, we had some ocean views and some views of the buildings next door and the air conditioning units. Very close to other shops, bars and the beach is just over the road. Perfect spot! Staff were very helpful and very friendly and allowed us to check in early.

Thought we paid for an Ocean view, which we got, partially, so must have paid for a partial ocean view room. Was still a lovely room. Popular for families which is fantastic and lots of children running around but not the atmosphere we were looking for on this holiday. We definitely still really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Front desk was SO lovely, shout out to Peter ( think that’s his name ) and Jackson. For a smooth CKI and CKO. We weren’t expecting a room on high level with a sea view but we got one! The house keeping as well were so lovely. The pool facilities are fabulous. The beds are SOOO comfortable. Maybe a little too much… (joking). I work has a hotel reception and have expectations and they succeed all of them and went above and beyond

Honestly, I can’t think of anything.. it books out quickly so book in advance!!!

The location was excellent. The pools are great. The rooms were nice, and everything worked well, excepting a couple of power points when a fuse tripped. However, the problem was fixed as soon as reported, which was much appreciated. We unintentionally left a flask, and they contacted us that day about it which was also appreciated. But it was the location, presentation, and facilities that got my attention. Free muffins were a nice touch. We would definitely look to stay again when next in Caloundra.

A breakfast room would have been nice. Perhaps there is one but I didn't see it.

The rooms were fantastic - alot bigger than they look online, sparkling clean and very comfortable beds. We had a beach view apartment and enjoyed the view from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great cocktails from the bar during happy hour !!

Only thing i could fault was the little bar closed well before 9 at night like stated , although there is restaurants straight underneath. After 8pm the whole town is closed up , so not recommded if your like the night life.

Nice apartment, nice furnishings and close to restaurants and beach. Bar area. Room cleaners were friendly, helpful and efficient. Partial beach view.

I expected more as the prices for the accomodation are a bit pricey and the high star rating. Reception is only open limited hours. Only once during my stay did reception staff greet me when I walked past. I expected réception staff to greet me when I walked past, particularly in the morning. No aircon in lifts. Wouldn’t want to get stuck in there. Time waiting for bar drinks to arrive at table during happy hours was slow. The photos on your website come across as though the pool wraps around the building and is much longer and luxurious than it is. A few minor issues with the room which I reported to staff at reception on check out that need to be fixed.

Location is great and the view magnificent. We dinned at Aqua and Tides both lovely and conveniently within walking distance. Our apartment was specious and clean. The facilities are great for families with several pools and a great gelatoria. We have stayed at Rumba many times and will return again.

The apartment was neat and tidy however the furniture is starting to show some wear.

This accomodation is perfectly located in Caloundra! Everything you need is right at your doorstep or within walking distance. There is direct beach access to a patrolled beach with no waves and a short walk to the surf beaches. If you drive, secure parking is included. Beach towels, buckets, umbrellas and chairs are available for hire or provided in the room. Excellent coffee served every morning with complimentary cakes. Staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is extremely well appointed with full sets of cutlery / glass wear and cook wear. Rooms were made up each day, and soaps etc were restocked.

We originally booked a premium room then changed to an older type room because there were several hundreds difference in price. We did regret this a little. Our room was very tired and in desperate need of a deep clean and freshen up. The rest of the property was very clean and tidy though. Our appliances were worn out and the TV and washing machine didn’t work intermittently. The architecture is unique and all the curves do lead to some tight spaces that feel a little dysfunctional until you’re used to it (closing doors to get to a drawer etc). There is no gym on-site and the lap pool was closed for renovations (we knew this before hand).

Our first room 212 had a really comfortable bed and view over the beach. Great setup for young kids. Great location- could walk to everything Huge bathrooms- can wash everyone at the same time

Our 2nd room 312 was less comfortable. Awful couch and low, hard bed Avoid coffee downstairs but muffins are a nice touch There is not enough space to unpack for a long stay. 3 hangers in one of the cupboards and 3 tiny drawers so really only a 1 person cupboard. Interesting design choices make it very awkward, especially in the kitchen but you can manage.
