Great location, very clean apartment and spacious well appointed kitchen, with great bathroom and laundry facilities. Loved our outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, very spacious. The complex facilities, pool, spa and rooftop BBQ were all fantastic. Loved the location and it was decent value for money. The manager was friendly and helpful, check in and check out was smooth and easy. Everything in the apartment was clean and easy to use, and much better appointed than I expected (ie kitchen utensils, cupboard and fridge space, laundry washer and dryer, two full bathrooms and bath, walk in wardrobe, board games and books in the cupboards etc). Everything was easy to find and use. Appreciated the little things like previous visitors washing up liquid left in the kitchen cupboard. The building and common facilities were well maintained and clean..

the apartment was fairly dated in terms of internal decor - sort of 80s beige and pink, carpet in the living areas where tiles would have been nicer, and had a number of minor repair/ maintenance items, like loose taps that kept failing off, paint peeling off some of rhe bathroom walls, chipped cupboards, horribly bright fluoro lights that take ages to turn on, etc. Nothing major though and didn't affect our stay. Could have used an extra dining chair inside, our booking was for 5 (2 adults 3 kids) but there were only 4 chairs. Maybe some blackout blinds in the bedroom would be good too.

A Smaller complex with more residence homes meaning quieter and less busy. Nice heated pool and spa. Walk out the gate into the park and onto the beach. Decent sized 2 br unit - unit 4. Straight down the stairs to the pool. 1 block from the wildlife park. This room had air-conditioning even though it had said it would not. It was so muggy, it was needed. No noise except a plane every now and then, no road noise.

Only 1 negative and it was pretty bad - the Queen bed was the hardest bed I've ever slept on and I found the floor to be more comfortable. I actually use a hard mattress at home so that's some indication of how bad that mattress is. One of the single beds wasn't much better. The other single bed was fine. My toddler could not sleep on the hard mattress and tossed and turned all night. I considered buying and setting up a blow up mattress for us both 😶

Amazing location view from the accommodation was spectacular. Directly on Currumbin walk way next to the most amazing beach. The pool and spa area has nice shady areas. Walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and local attractions. Great base for exploring the Gold Coast away from the big centres Washing machine and dryer in accommodation.

The unit we stayed in, although the beds and towels were clean, some areas in the accommodation was in need of a deep clean. The shower head in the main bathroom was squirting water up to the ceiling which was addressed during our stay however if you repositioned the shower head it still leaked.

We have stayed at this accommodation on many occasions when visiting family in the area. It is located in a fantastic spot that is not too built up, with beach views and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary behind. It is close to shops in Tugun and easy to get either up or down the coast to airport and attractions. A parking space allocation under the building makes life easy.

There were some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance.

Sandcastles on Currumbin Beach was the perfect holiday location. Close to the Beach and within walking distance of both Tugun & Currumbin. It is just around the corner from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary where we fed the Rainbow Lorikeets many times, for a gold coin donation. Currumbin Alley is one of the best places to learn to surf, with gentle rolling waves all the way to the shore. We had an amazing family holiday.

The pillows were too soft and lumpy. A better selection would have meant for the perfect sleep as it was very quiet and the beds comfortable. The spa looked a little green by the end of each day.

Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and relaxing. Great amenities including spacious bathrooms, kitchen and so close to pool and beach. Excellent maintenance on pool and garden areas, other units were very quiet. Very relaxing and gorgeous location.

No air conditioning in master bedroom, no shampoo or conditioner provided, few towels. In the kitchen there was a strange mismatch of plates and cups. For example, only 1 bowl and no plastic cups, just a few mismatching coffee cups. Also right on flight path, quite noisy from plane traffic. I didn’t like the back door on master bedroom as it was difficult to open and there were holes in the mesh of the screen so it made me feel a little unsafe.

Loved the location, and that we could walk straight to the beach from our back patio. The apartment is bright and airy, and well stocked with cooking and other items.

No coffee machine/press. Almost every apartment we've ever rented over the past 5 years has a machine or even plunger to make fresh coffee. We were surprised and a little disappointed that there was none here.

Loved that our Villa was so close to the beach with access to it and the park at our back gate. The Villa was so nice and had everything we needed. My children loved our entire stay and so did we!

It wasn't that we didn't like it, and it's not even a big issue but my daughter was complaining that the TV in her room didn't work. We were told to use the main TV remote to turn the TV on in the room, but this still didn't work. Again, not even a big issue!

Great apartment, parking was awesome and great location.

My 3 year old son trod on a large shard of glass in the deep rug in the spare room and cut his foot open. I have a photo of the glass shard. Someone must have broken a glass and becuase its a deep shag pile rug they didnt get all the pieces out. He couldnt play barefoot on the sand which was a nightmare but we can see how it was missed in the rug.

We stayed in apartment 2 which was a 3 bedroom ground level unit, very close to pool. Excellent location and fantastic spacious unit. Pool was great for the kids. The beach and walking strip was right on our back door step, such a perfect location. Close to wild sanctuary park. Michael the resort manager was very hospitable, friendly and very helpful, amazing service.

I like a hot spa, wasnt as hot as I would've liked, however it was used by us everyday of our holiday
