I liked the location, as I prefer to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. I liked being half way between Broadbeach and Mermaid Beach. Room was great! So great having laundry facilities. Loved my balcony and the view. Bed was fine! A little harder than I have at home but it was fine. The pool was amazing! I booked for the pool and we loved it. The gardens were so well tended. Everything was lovely.

A couple of things didn't work - fan overhead in room but we used the split system so it was okay. Dryer needed something wedged under the door to work. I reported both things when we left, nothing was major, didn't affect our stay. My ocean view was partially blocked by a palm tree! One floor higher would have been ideal. I think the doors need fly screens too. The lady who checked us out was lovely and by far the most friendly.

We didn’t use the cafe as it was nearing Christmas and they closed from 19th December. We had two bed apartment and had great air conditioning in each bedroom and the lounge for which I was very grateful. Also in one bedroom there was a ceiling fan. Tv in both bedrooms and in lounge. Good sized fridge/freezer so I could get my ice as I like very cold drinks. Good supply of coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, hobs. Pool area was great with kiddy pool and indoor and outdoor pools and also has small gym. Good selection of books to swap if you want to read.

More dishwashing packets and dishwashing liquid and washing powder needed. Need one for each day of stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just across the road from South Broadbeach Tram and Bus Station as well as Pacific Fair shopping center, it's convenient for anybody who wants to easily get around the Gold Coast as well as do some retail therapy.

There is currently large construction and road works happing outside the complex, and due to the site being a major Gold Coast road most of the work is done between 10pm-5am to avoid excessive traffic delays. It didn't manage to get a uninterrupted nights sleep due to my room being on the second level.

the location was fantastic, perfect for families. close to tram, shops, beach and restaurants. The front desk was fantastic and helpful. Pools were great and clean, kids enjoyed the heated pool to in the afternoon.

the shower had minimal hot water we had to turn on another tap to get it working a little better but still only Luke warm. We stayed for 5 nights and could have done with an extra roll of toilet paper and dishwashing liquid and washing powder but it wasn't hard to go to reception and ask.

Location was exceptional. Right across from Pacific Fair and Casino. Small supermarket and pizza shop Right next door.

I would have liked 2 extra towels and a pair of sheets in the room. We had a washing machine and dryer, but we were also out and about everyday. You could hire them from reception, but staying a week I would have thought there would be ample in the room. Just an opinion. Walking distance to restaurants, the Loose Moose was a great place. Walking distance to the beach.

It was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The close proximity to pacific fair and the tram was also a big positive for us. The apartment was dated but everything was functional and met our needs. The pools both indoor and outdoor looked lovely, unfortunately we didn’t get to use them during our stay. The water pressure in the showers was good. The free wifi was really good, we were able to cast netflix to the tv. Really handy to have when there was nothing to watch on free to air.

The road noise at night made it difficult to get a restful sleep. I would definitely request a quieter room next time. The gym is a little outdated, could do with a refresh. We found the apartment got quite warm and we needed to use the a/c more than expected, especially in the evening and early morning.

I liked the way they were accommodating to our needs. We had to come in a day later so they changed our dates so we still got our 3 night stay & there was no one bedroom Superior rooms left so they put us in a 2 bedroom Superior room. Very pleased they could move things around for us as we'd just found out that my husband was going to have a heart procedure. We absolutely love Bel Air. My husband loves the way he doesn't have to drive, he just parks the car once. The massive shopping center across the road is perfect & so is the light rail, it's also in walking distance to the patrolled beach & the indoor pool is excellent. We love coming here & will keep doing so while we can afford it!!

Our 4th stay here and is a well located, clean and comforatble hotel which is why we keep coming back. We come down from Brisbane by car and parking is included. Easy to walk to the beach and Pacific Fair across the road. Always clean facilities and rooms and the indoor heated pool is a hit in the middle of winter with the kids. The resort style vibe is a nice point of difference compared to all the other huge accommodation towers around the place.

Lots of construction at the moment making it a bit noisier and ruining the view a bit but this can't be helped!

Was a bit nervous after reading some fairly recent bad google reviews that mentioned roaches and lack of cleanliness, but the room was spotless and we didn't come across any roaches. Room was spacious and well maintained. Loved having a full sized fridge and the ability to cook meals if we wanted to. The bed was a good size, hot water and water pressure in the shower was perfect. The pool area had a lovely vibe and was very clean. Staff were happy, friendly and helpful.

The lack of soundproofing is an issue. We couldnt hear the construction happening next door but could literally hear every sound made in the other rooms. Trying to relax at night and all we could hear was kitchen drawers being opened and closed in another room, phones ringing, feet stomping, etc. It's really unfortunate because it's obviously not something staff can fix and was the only thing stopping me from giving a perfect rating.

Great location, good facilities, friendly staff, everything you need. Broadbeach South Station directly over the road, providing trams straight to Surfers every 20 minutes or less. Plenty of kitchen gear. Spectacular ocean and Hinterland Views with almost 270 degree perspective between the two balconies and entranceway window. Great pool area for families. Very secure facility overall.

Quite a strong, unpleasant odour in the corridor where our room was situated (North Tower, level 10), hard to tell exactly what it was, thankfully it wasn't in the room. Informed reception that the main bedroom light wasn't working upon arrival, it wasn't fixed during our stay but didn't worry us too much.
