We stayed in a 2-bed ocean view apartment - the apartment was huge, clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great view. Very quiet and no queues for lifts! Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing, never felt crowded (despite being peak holiday time) and kids loved the toddler part (which was warm!). Excellent location - 5 min walk to beach (also never crowded + patrolled) and shops/restaurants/cafes. Away from the intensity of central Surfer's Paradise but close enough to walk to/catch the tram one stop. Short (10 min) drive to theme parks. This hotel is dated but still a great place to stay - and the dated decor just adds to the charm.

A breakfast option would have been ideal.

I had several issues during my stay. Water was constantly dripping from the air conditioner, which was quite inconvenient. The TV was outdated—no smart TV, and the remote didn’t work. In the kitchen, there was no chopping board, which would have been useful. Additionally, the dryer’s filter was broken, causing dust to go back onto clothes. On top of that, the reception staff could be more friendly and welcoming. They seemed robotic and unhappy, creating an unfriendly vibe that didn’t feel supportive. Overall, these issues impacted my experience, and I hope they’re addressed for future guests.

Location was excellent - close to EVERYthing (tram, beach, shops, town centre), but also away from hustle and bustle of centre. Facilities were excellent - LOVED sauna and the 3 pools. Very nice to have such good kids pools. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Appartement was beautifuly - with great view. Appartment had everything we needed- little things like dishwashing powder and washing detergent were a nice handy touch. Ran out of varius items in room during the stay but staff quickly replenished anything we needed.

Kids loved the multiple pools including the lagoon pool which was freezing but they have 1 indoor heated pool which was nice and warm. Also 2 spas and 1 waterslide. Loved the view from the balcony of gold coast water ways at night and during sunrise and sunset. Loved the size of the 3 bedroom stay. Great massive TV in lounge for kids switch games. Extra tv in main bedroom. Loved the location only a few minutes to tram stop and a few minutes to the surfers paradise beach. Shopping mall on 1 tram stop of 7 mins walk. About 5 mins to Coles for groceries. Some cheap restaurants 5 mins walk.

No chopping board in kitchen. Dishwasher not great so had to wash half load by hand. The key door entry a bit fiddly to open and one point the lock got jammed but fixed with a little wriggling. Reception not open after 8pm until 7am next day.

The renovated room, the view, the pools/sauna and other facilities, the location. They were all incredible!The lady upon check in was really welcoming and accommodating.

One downside was that when we arrived there was a large pile of dirty towels still in the room and dirty toilet with marks all over the bowl. The reminder of the rooms were clean, and cleaned very well it was just the one bathroom that was not. Another small issue was not knowing about the towels, we thought you could hire additional towels as per website but was told we couldn’t as we had the facilities to wash what we were given. Only minor inconvenience, however, would have been nice to know such information which didn’t conflict to website information.

Location is brilliant. Even though we had a non-ocean view room (level 11) we still had a glimpse of the ocean which was nice. The lobby is always spotless and the staff is friendly. The pool is AMAZING! Its depth, the water, cleanliness and the amount of sunbeds is fantastic. The sauna, spa and indoor pool is also perfect! The gym is always clean (although the machines need some TLC).

The kitchen and bathrooms need a reno. As this is an older apartment/hotel you can really see the wear and tear in the rooms. The carpets were stained. But the room was clean otherwise, the bathrooms were also very clean.

Terrific location. 2mins to beach and 5mins to Cavill Ave area of surfers paradise. Pool facilities were great: outdoor kids pool with slide was a huge hit and heated also! The large lagoon style was beautiful but too cold for us this time of year! Also an indoor headed pool and spa etc good for rainy days. Poolside cafe serves nice coffee and meals. Our room was comfortable, clean and nice view.

The cooking utensils needed reviewing in the apartment - tongs were broken so couldn’t use them when cooking. Bathroom clean but starting to show signs of age. No complaints though.

Perfect spot close to all amenities but not too close(not noisy).Great sunrises and sunsets. Walking distance to Cavill ave 1 street over from beach.Close to all cafés restaurant and more.Great views from our balcony ocean and river views.Quite location that had everything we needed. Definately will book again and recommend.Had everything we needed for adults and children(my grandkids).Best Thai restaurant ever.And love the lime bikes everywhere great idea to get around.And very friendly team from front desk to kiosk.All round loved it.Great daily spot for walks along the beach.

Wish the breakfast /lunch bar was opened like the website said.(winter)Had to unclog shower drain.And the room could have been cleaned and dusted better.As we found dust and dirt and food under lounge and beds.As we swept daily. And our bathrooms were newly renovated but my advice is to maintainenance is clean the drain in ensuite shower/both showers (as it got blocked Hubby fixed it).And the ensuite left side power point doesn’t work with hairdryer provided.And when your roomed gets cleaned after 5 day stays(we stayed 10 days)They said they’d vacuum and to move everything off floor.As we did but floors didn’t get vacuumed.Oh we had a few visitors on our balcony occasionally.

Location = Perfect! It was very close to Caville Avenue, Shops and amenities. The Pool = Perfect! It had two separate areas, one for the older and grown ups and another for the little kids that had a slide and beach area that they could easily enjoy. There is a small canteen that serves fantastic food and beverages. Room = Perfect! We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. Definitely met our expectations in terms of cleanliness and layout. One of the rooms comes with an ensuite.

I would have given this property a perfect score however, there was no restaurant facility for breakfast. We had to walk across to a sister apartment for a buffet breakfast which was about a 5min walk from the property.

Loved the pools (that were heated), loved the spaciousness of the room, upgraded for the views (sea view) and was worth every cent, loved location

The steam room out of order, no working buffet breakfast onsite (there was a huge space assuming for entertaining food) that is not being used and is dead (and dirty space), the huge lagoon pool was sooooo cold (understandably out of season to use), there was a weird smell on our floor, one of the elevators is all boarded up
