The location was excellent, easy walking distance to the centre of town, shops & restaurants. The view was amazing! Huge balcony overlooking the beach. Loved the space of the two bedroom apartment & two bathrooms. It was nice to have an indoor pool, spa & sauna as well as an outdoor pool. Having the beach just across the road was great as could go for a quick swim or walk without having to make a big day of it. Loved lying in bed with the window fully open and listening to the surf. Beautiful sunrises over the ocean. We were on the 24th floor, room B. The B side was in the middle with the biggest, longest balconies. We didn't have a car and were able to walk everywhere we needed.

The rooms could definitely do with a renovation, especially the flooring, kitchen benchtops and bathrooms. Very outdated but the location, view & space made up for it. Would be good if the tv was a smart tv so could at least log into our own paid streaming services. Outside painting renovations with a lot of areas blocked off which we weren't advised of until after we booked. The outdoor pool area needs a lot more greenery to make it look and feel more appealing. If you're expecting to lie in the sun, barely any sun reaches the outdoor pool area due to the huge building next door.

Breakfree is in the perfect location. Close to Caville Ave, patrolled beach straight across the road, and lots of eat out options close by. The apartment was huge! There is plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children. Lots of room to move around in the kitchen. Wrap around balcony, not huge, but still a nice space. Great view of the beach, and we even spotted whales each day!

Arrival and check-in after hours were a bit of a process. The call centre took ages to answer, and you had to go through that process 3 times. Once for the visitor carpark, then in the vestibule at the entrance, then in the lobby for the key safe. Ideally, the key safe could be located in the vestibule or a checkin code issued to enter the visitor carpark and lobby. Stairs from Level 1 to the basement are tiled. Someone had walked down prior to us, and they were wet from the pool. One of our kids slipped on the stairs and fell down them. Also, 2/3 lifts were out of order, so wait times were quite lengthy. We were on the 27th floor, so the stairs weren't an option.

I specifically booked Imperial Surf because of the million dollar views at a reasonable price. The location was brilliant and just across the road from the patrolled beach. The apartment was large and clean and my guests were so impressed we’ll definitely stay there next time. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming.

There was exterior painting happening during my stay so I had to be mindful of the crew coming past the balcony. While it was an inconvenience, the painters were respectful and the building will look fantastic! The indoor pool and spa heater wasn’t working for the last few days but the sauna was terrific.

Great location with fantastic wraparound views over the Gold Coast beach, city and river. An easy walk along the beachfront to Cavill Ave, but a bit further away from the noise. The allocated carpark also took away any parking anxiety.

There is some construction next door, but we are early risers so it didn't bother us. The outside pool and tennis courts were shut which was unfortunate. Late night check in is complicated as you need to be able to access the locked foyer to get to the safe with your keys/fob in it. The internet was patchy, and you need a code from reception for it as well as signing up as a member, so again you can't use it if you arrive after hours.

The main bedroom. Air conditioner makes a loud noise every 5 mins or so. Hard to get to sleep

Absolutely stunning apartment, overlooking the beach. We stayed here for 6 nights and the place was amazing. The apartment is just across the beach. Beautiful views, excellent WiFi. The location was very convenient and at walking distance from all the restaurants and nearby malls. Beautiful Parrots visited us everyday at sunshine.

Our stay was absolutely Mesmerizing. The reception was also very kind and helpful. Parking is free and very convenient. Overall we had a wonderful gala time staying at Breakfree Imperial Surf.

The unit was spacious and clean, close to restruants and shops. We had a view of the ocean.

The wifi. I aman accor member but because I booked through a third party, wifi wasn't automatically assigned. Password obtained but no definiative server to log into and so weak it was useless. Disappointed as I was planning on using my computer for research whilst away. In this day and age I think it could be better, member or not.

Ocean front view was perfect close to shopping and main drag of the beach area. Room had 2 bathroom which was great for having kids. Had birds visit us almost everyday.

My girls found a small cockroach in the bathroom. Killed it. But whwn u find 1 thier is always more. We had a room on the 22nd floor. I'd stay away from lower area if possible.

Loved it's location beachfront with surfers town a 2 minute walk away. Our room was perfect for my family and I...the bath for our granddaughter. Two swimming pools blew my mind and a spa on top ohh amazing place lovely staff just such a wonderful all round holiday . Thank you Break free Imperial xx God bless you all xx

Easy booking, great communication from the staff, any problems were dealt with quickly which was awesome. Overall a great place to stay & would recommend it to all travelers looking for a reasonably priced accommodation, within walking distance to Gold Coast centre
