Have stayed here many times because the motel is centrally located in the city centre within walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Stayed 5 nights. Room was serviced daily except on Sunday.

The gentleman on reception was very nice and helpful. Easy parking so close to our room. With the curtains closed it was really dark for a great sleep. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Great aircon.

You can see it’s an old building but they kept it clean and tidy. You could hear the guest next door through the walls but it wasn’t too bad.

The Motel is old but clean and tidy. It is a short walking distance to the City Heart and Caneland Central Shopping Centre. It is next door to the Hot Wok Restaurant.

Bathroom is room dated but shower water pressure is fair, hot water takes a while to reach the room we were in.

Location is excellent particularly if you arrive with no car, right in the heart of the city. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and the best Chinese restaurant at the motel. The motel rooms are super clean, and the staff could not be more helpful. No wonder this place was fully booked both nights we spent here. Great stay in Mackay.

Everything was perfect.

For the budget conscious, this is a great motel. Pretty much right in the heart of Mackay CBD. There are lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars in walking distance. Coles is just down the road as well. The room was very clean and comfortable, and looks like it was refurbished recently. There is a microwave in the room, but you have to have your own utensils and plates, (this might be different in other rooms). Quite spacious for a motel. Under cover parking on-site, and for the ground floor rooms- right outside your door. There is a swimming pool and BBQ area in the complex as well. If I am travelling through Mackay again, I would definitely have another night here.

My bathroom could do with a bit of fresh paint, and a bit of TLC. Apart from very clean, and everything worked well.

Other motel users…. Talking and laughing loudly for at least 15 minutes each time at 12 am, 2am and 4am… thus hardly any sleep. Annoying! Bit hard when I had to drive home 5 hrs at end of that day. Sadly very inconsiderate of those motel clients, but other than that, perfect location to everything and staff lovely and clean comfy room.

The receptionist on checkin was patient and helpful when he couldn't find my booking initially. The accommodation was roomy, clean and very comfortable. There were friendly instructions in the room to assist with the stay.

There was a consistent sound like a dryer or generator outside the bathroom. Very narrow parking spaces.

Great location and very friendly owners Sally & Al who were very helpful and let me check as soon as my room was ready which was great after getting off the early morning bus from Rockhampton. Room was a good size and there is also a Guest Laundry with washing and drying machines which was very handy.

From stepping in the moteL to leaving the manager/owner was fantastic - so friendly - cleaning staff very cheerful. The bed was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfy the pool was fantastic and good seating area for eating at night too in BBQ area Easy parking - some places are so tight Walking distance to so many restaurants and bars Will definitely stay again when in Mackay

The location was amazing and room extremely clean. Check in was very easy and the gentleman was friendly. We didnt stay in the room much due to our commitments in Mackay but it was pleasant.

Lack of parking when we came back to the room at night and had to park on the street.
