Great room. Easy and friendly check in. Comfy soft king bed in our room and excellent water pressure in the shower. As a motel manager myself this motel is absolutely highly recommended as per previous good reviews. Clean, happy and mainly because of the cheerful welcome from Bernie (everything a manager should be) The room has the comfiest king bed and we have had the best night's sleep. I also ignored the low score reviews - from experience these are usually written in retaliation from guests who don't read or those who don't want to go to follow the procedures and policies of the motel.

I have reviewed this Motel in the past, and since the Motel has had a major face lift and an ownership change, I felt that a fresh review was in order. Before I begin the review of the Motel, I wanted to let you know exactly what type of manager and caretaker looks after you and your family when you stay here. The Motel Manger, Bernie is what I consider to be a top shelf human being, in fact I have never in all my years of travelling, ever come across anyone as amazing as this wonderfully unique woman. Bernie has treated my family and I with such kindness and care that has been difficult to put into words, when I stay here now it's like staying with family. I am nothing special, I am a traveller like yourself who wishes to view all of Australia and soak up the adventures in this wonderful country just like any other person. In my travelling experience I have always found that the staff and the location I am staying in go hand in hand, when it comes to a positive experience when staying in any Motel. Bernie is such a thoughtful hostess that she is an exception to all the rules, to say that she is amazing would be an understatement. Now as for the rooms the review is as follows, they are all very clean very modern, comfortable, and very well presented, in fact the entire motel and each of it's rooms recently received a major renovation and makeover, bringing each room into a newer modern and fresher style and feel. All the basic amenities that one would expect are all present, fresh towels and linen, kettle, microwave, tea, coffee and sugar are all part of the package when you enter the rooms. The televisions are all smart capable so you can bring your Netflix password and binge out on your favourite shows while you soak up the comfort of a plush king size bed. I love this place, my family loves this place, and I stay here exclusively when travelling north and south, and Bernie always goes above and beyond to ensure that my family and I are well catered for.

N/A I never like leaving

There were a lot of downstairs rooms with parking undercover directly infront of your door. The KFC is only 300m away. And easy to navigate to the big shopping centre.

There was not enough cutlery or crockery for the number of people booked in the room. The office was not able to supply any more. There was no access to ice (small amount) for drinks. The nearest was a drive through 2km away which would have been a bag and yoo much to keep in the small bar fridge. Never thought I would have to pack an ice tray with me on travels.

The staff here are truly remarkable. I had to make alternative travel arrangements with the hotel manager and she went above and beyond to help me out with my alternative travel plans and I will always be greatful. The rooms have been remodelled and they are very nice indeed the bed was king size and I have never slept better, it was truly a top quality mattress in the room and it was quality. There's a lot to be said about customer satisfaction and this place has made this customer feel very satisfied.

I liked everything its difficult to complain about anything here so just enjoy your stay.

No laundry powder dispenser is available. Nowhere to hang clothes No extra pillows or blankets Fridge needed defrosting Shower tiles are very slippery Terrible tiny milks for coffee Lots of missing curtain hooks made the room look shabby. No face washer

Receptionist was lovely and felt so welcomed she helped us with any questions I had and just was super friendly which other places we have stayed we have had terrible experiences with rude receptionist. The room was beautiful with such a comfortable bed we didn’t want to leave it. Bedding was beautiful and clean with great pillows to sleep on. Thankyou for our wonderful experience!

Only issue we had was our door had a little issues latching but other than that nothing.

A spacious room with a decent view on the main road, no sound can be heard from it, provided basic nesscesities for the night and decent entertainment from the TV. Room felt nice and private no big complaints.

There was some black stains on the bed and concerning marks around the shower/bath area of the bathroom. Biggest concern of the room in the door has to be properly 'clicked' in the lock for the door to stay closed, have come close in the night leaving the door open due to this factor.

Bernie was fantastic. She greeted us like we were an old friend. She couldn't have been more welcoming. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Had a very good night's sleep. The room was very quiet.

The shower glass looked like it hadn't been clean. At night when you turn the light on it looked like there was soap streaks all over the glass and also the bottom of the mirror in the bathroom had not be cleaned. These issues were nit that visible during the day but at night they really stood out.

I was welcome despite my unwelcoming position and appearance. Reception was intuitive and discreet with unwavering professionalism and kindness, Bernadine was outstanding. Also the room was a relaxing, clean and bright refuge, wasn’t expecting a Hampton style design behind the door and was surprised and appreciative.

The bed was amazing especially after a 12 hour shift. So soft and comfortable. The shower had the best water pressure and a rain head shower was absolutely perfect on those aching muscles. Tho I didn't get to swim in the pool it looked absolutely inviting and I heard many a guest enjoying the facilities. The rooms are almost sound proof so cannot hear any traffic at all and for me that was a big tick

There's wasn't any one thing about the hotel that was a disappointment. Fantastic value for money, great service, and excellent facilities. Exceeded my expectations
