Absolutely superb location overlooking the beach with easy access to the boardwalk and the cafe/restaurant strip. Our apartment was exactly as advertised. The beds were all really comfortable and each of the bedrooms had air conditioning. Really thoughtful inclusions in the kitchen with everything needed for a family and a massive fridge! The hosts were so warm and friendly and even contacted us to offer early check in if we wished.

Our particular apartment didn’t have lift access to the garage and the exit was pretty tight for our big SUV. It was still great to have off street parking though.

Great location, friendly hosts and apartment 7 was excellent. Light, great view and a kitchen that was very well kitted out. Games cupboard and beach toys to borrow were also great.

We were able to upgrade to a higher floor at no extra cost even though extra cleaning was involved. The views at higher levels are superb. The location is perfect with just a very short walk to the beach. A stroll down the superb boardwalk takes you to shops and dining. The pool was nice and warm and a good size. It was great to have an equipment room with items needed for the beach and surf. There is no problem with noise from roads - just the soothing sound of waves. Parking was not crowded and was secure

A games room and BBQ facilities would have been nice but with all the other great features were not really missed.

Sidney and Lauren were such lovely hosts! They made sure we were well taken care of and had all we needed. We were upgraded from the room we had initially booked. Sidney moved us to apartment 7, which was perfect for our family. Warm, bright, and sunny! The beds were comfortable, showers were great, and the kitchen was stacked with everything we needed! The apartment was clean and tidy. We definitely made good use of the washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher, and the unit has a good-sized fridge. The swimming pool was awesome, the kids loved it, there were also boogy boards and beach equipment/toys etc available for our use! The location of 84 is perfect! The beach is basically at the doorstep, with amazing walks, handy to shops, playgrounds, eateries, and just across from sealife. Our family had an amazing time! We will be back for sure!! Thanks for having us.

The only issue we had was with the oven not working. However, we made do, and it wasn't a huge deal in the end. Would have been great to have a BBQ on site.

We had the penthouse which had an amazing view with a major wow factor - it could not have been better. The building was right on the beach, down the quieter end of Mooloolooba. The apartment had four good-sized bedrooms. I am pretty particular but overall was very happy with our choice to stay here and will be recommending 84 The Spit to others.

The apartment accommodated eight adults, but the sofas could only really accomodate five people. Squeezing in another sofa would have made the place perfect. Some had to sit on stools when we were all together in the lounge room. Furniture and facilitates were all perfectly adequate, but a bit dated - certainly not enough to put us off the apartment.

Awesome location - close to beach and shops. Amazing view from the apartment - from the whole beach right round to the river and the Glasshouse Mountains. Plenty of space in all the rooms and the facilities were great.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like, but there is no air conditioning in the apartment we were in. This didn't worry us though as there was a good breeze blowing and we left the windows open, as we were on the seventh floor. It could be an issue if it was really hot and there wasn't much of a breeze, but it was perfect for our stay.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Wharf restaurants and attractions, and a leisurely walk to the Mooloolaba Esplanade. It’s only a small complex which with a mix of permanent and holiday rentals.

The bed in the second bedroom needs a better mattress. The floor may have been more comfortable, at least it’s flat. The blinds in the bedrooms need to be replaced with something that can block out at least a little light. It’s perfect if you like getting up at sunrise, but definitely not for sleeping in.

Location was fantastic. Walking distance to wharf and also surf club. Direct access from apartment to beach. Hosts Sid and Lauren were absolutely wonderful - made us feel so welcome. Only one park for the Penthouse - we were a little worried about getting street parking but ended up being fine. We got parks on the street even if it was a little walk. We stayed in the Penthouse and the view from up there is spectacular. You can see the ocean AND the river - basically 270deg view. We enjoyed watching all the boats cross the bar at sunrise. Rooms all had Aircon. Kitchen was great - had all the essentials including full size fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster. Main bathroom had washing machine.

We stayed in peak time so it was a tad pricey but it was worth it to have the whole family together.

Great location to beach - private access barely a mins walk - close to patrolled beach and Surf Club for lovely meals. Across the road from the wharf for tours, meals & coffee, walked everyone no need for a car once you get their.

Rooms a bit bright in the morning - blinds didn't block the sunlight - but fine for early risers :) aircon unit was great as it was very hot but a bit noisy and generated a lot of heat on the balcony where the unit was located.

Apartment was spacious clean & tidy. We had a 1st floor garden view overlooking the pool which was very peaceful sitting out on the balcony watching some wildlife, which included Bush Turkeys, Kookaburra's & a friendly neighbourhood Possum who would come to our balcony for some chopped up fruit at night. From the apartment to the beach was just a short 20 meter walk across the boardwalk from the pool area & you were on beautiful Mooloolaba Beach.

Everything was just as we expected nothing we didn't like really.
