The room was very spacious and the balcony with the kitchenette was brilliant. A lovely view from the balcony. Loved the fans on the balcony and inside as well as we didn't always need the air-con. The pool was lovely but needed a few more lounge chairs. Club Tropical was very central to everything that we needed. Will come again and hopefully get the same room.

It would be helpful to have the lift go to the 3rd floor. It was not easy carrying our luggage up the stairs to our room. The ventilation fan in the toilet came on at odd hours of the night. It was quite loud. There needs to be some sort of curtaining across the glass blocks in the bathroom to stop the light entering the main room at night when sleeping. It was too bright.

The property was well located, right in the middle of town. It was close to everything so it was easy to walk everywhere. We had a comfortable room looking north, over looking the park across the road. We had everything we needed for a one week stay. It was also quiet. The staff were lovely to deal with. The pool was excellent.

We had too many light switches in our room so it was confusing working out what switch went with which light! There were also leaks in the corridors due to the heavy rain.

The staff were super helpful from the moment we'd booked. The constant communication regarding airport transfers and recommendations for tours and eateries around the area. Our flight was also delayed by a day and Michelle was very helpful to get us in another night at the accommodation and rebooked our airport transfer last minute. The pool was nice and a very spacious studio room, with amenities for cooking. Walking distance to the market, all the restaurants and the marina.

The room was a little dated. Parts of the place need a bit of freshen up. The tap was dripping and the lights were a little dim in the room.

Great location, room was super comfy for a long stay. Great outlook. Loved the pool area and staff were all so very helpful from the moment we contacted them until we left. Very helpful with recommending trips suited to us.

Aircon vents were dirty but staff were immediately onto this, once pointed out.

Great pool and outdoor spa. Pleasant garden surroundings and shared undercover areas with library. Ideal location on Macrossan St, near all the retail shops and restaurants and protected from the afternoon winds. Easy onsite car parking. Friendly helpful staff.

All pretty good - paint needs a touch up in a couple of areas.

The reception staff were excellent! So helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool, spa and sauna were great and we enjoyed using them. The location was amazing! Right on the main drag, but quiet. Right near the beach and the marina. Easy access to anything outside the main drag using the shuttle bus service. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

The only downside is the wifi is not great, and not sufficient for streaming (free to air TV only).

Club Tropical is an older building but the room was renovated & in great condition. The lady at the front desk couldn't be any friendlier. The pool area again was old but very well presented & in great condition. Quick walk to all the main cafe's & restaurants.

the location was great & also had a fantastic view over the water garden & then out to the mountains & even Coral Sea glimpses.

there was a continuous slight humming noise from the rear of the bathroom.

location was excellent accommodation excellent staff vey welcoming and helpful .Michelle made us feel at home immediately upgraded my booking prior to our arrival without any fuss - notified that my room available earlier than book in time
