Ideal quiet location to explore Port Douglas. Good-sized room and well-equipped for self-catering with a Cole’s supermarket in easy walking distance. Variety of restaurants nearby for dining out. Comfy bed, nice hot shower and safe parking available for guests. Nice to have pool on site for relaxing or 4-mile-beach within easy walking distance if a sandy beach preferred with safe, netted swimming area.

No negative comments. Would have been nice to have a coffee cafetière in the apartment but there was a great coffee shop directly below the apartment.

We arrived after reception hours but getting our room was straightforward, and we had a lovely welcome letter with useful info waiting for us. Worth knowing that parking is accessed by the road to the side. The room itself was really nicely furnished, it had all the things you need to self cater too. The balcony was nice for relaxing on, and the bed was very comfy. There is also a laundry room onsite with both washers and dryers. The property was really peaceful, which was nice and ideally located right in the heart of the town. And even better is just a few steps away is a really good Italian ice cream place which we highly recommend visiting once or twice... a day.

- The location is literally the heat of Port Douglas, so many things to experience and enjoy at walking distance. - Late check in was accommodated, room was safe and secure as was our vehicle in the parking area. - Clean and everything you could need. - The joy of self contained is privacy and that was very much respected during our stay. - Peaceful and comfortable stay. Appreciated the accommodation being an adults only stay. - Allegra, she’s lovely and when she took my husband for a walk she showed him the right oaths to follow. - Lovely view of the pool and pool was well used by my husband - Access to washing machines/dryer

The location was great. The property was very well maintained and faultlessly clean. Robert and Lyn are wonderful hosts. Nothing was a bother and took the extra mike on all occasions. We were given the keys to our room on arrival ,3 hours before check in time, and when unable to get a shuttle to Mossman Gorge did not hesitate to offer their services to take us personally . Having travelled extensively and had many decades in the hospitality accommodation business we know good service when we see it. Thank you both for your friendly smiles , we felt most welcome staying with you.

It was very comfortable and quiet , the pool was amazing and loved to be able to sit and read around the pool area, lots of umbrellas and lounges .Pretty much had the pool area to ourselves most days. Very convenient to coles for groceries, all shops, and a short stroll for music of an evening ( without being so close to hear it if we wanted an early night) hosts were lovely and helpful, we loved our trip .

The position of Le Cher was central, of Port Douglas & so handy for most everything, shops, restaurants, pubs, & boat harbour, We had a nice appt, & (we love children, )but was nice to be Adults only

We are elderly, but not in spirits,, & would have liked to have got to the Barrier Reef, but all tours are more for the younger, with mostly water activities , & a common problem amongst, not only the elderly

Lovely flat in the amazing town of Port Douglas. Great place to explore and we based there to visit the great barrier reef. Great central location and the flat was ideal for what we needed. Surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants and a supermarket nearby if you wanted to cook for yourself in the flat. Comfy bed, good aircon and quick wifi.

I would say that the online pictures oversold the pool area slightly.

Fantastic central location that feels like a little oasis in the heart of Port Douglas. So close to restaurants, shops and cafes etc. Small but delightful pool area.

Lack of a lift can be a little challenging with luggage and there is some traffic noise if you’re in one of the front rooms but neither of these things would put me off booking again.

Lyn & Rob were excellent hosts. Looked after our stuff before and after checked in/out while we waited for our shuttle. We could stay until needed. Starter pack in apartments were adequate and all extras like towels or toilet paper were cheap. Laundry available in car park but didn't bother for 5 nights. Pool area has everything you need plus quite intimate in size. Yes 1 flight of stairs to contend with but all ok. Keypad entry with 24 access. Location is pretty much unbeatable!

Only had a spa bath/shower so access if you are getting on can be tough but no problem for us.

We absolutely loved our stay, the location of the hotel was a big factor in choosing, we looked into staying at some of the resorts further out of town however stumbled upon this stay and we were so happy we did, Located right in the middle of town, it was perfect for walking to dinner and around town. being a couple in our 20s we enjoyed being able to go to the pool with no children. There honestly was not a single fault with being able to check in 20 minutes early, from the owners being lovely and friendly as well as their gorgeous dog. 10/10 we will definitely be back!
