Staff were very helpful - I arrived in Rockhampton off the train at 1.30AM & taxi dropped me off on the Tavern side instead of at accomodation & Security guy & Duty Manager Karen helped me find room & key box - big thank you to both of them. Vicky in Reception was also lovely & gave me a bit more time to check out because I got in so early - big, much-appreciated thank you to her too 😊 Room was a good size & very clean & bed was very comfotable too 👍

Location was a bit out of town for me as I don't have a car but there was a local bus stop just around the corner & I didn't have to wait long.

I booked this accommodation by mistake so was great the receptionist found a downstairs room for us.WouldGreat location with plenty of eateries as well as the Tavern close by.Microwave in the room,carton milk in fridge,ceiling fan & air conditioning.Complimentary toiletries provided.Right on the highway so thought it would be noisy being right up the front but didn’t bother us.Security screens on windows and safety chain on door.

Nothing really but if I had to say anything negative maybe the towels need replacing soon.

Domino's McDonald's Red Rooster Miss India Noodle Box Kebab's Subway BWS Liquorland all right there as well as the pub restaurant & bar so much choice. I thought the bed was very comfy my husband not so much. A/C was cold. Extra blanket & pillow available.

The water pressure in the shower was good however the shower head needed to be replaced as it was like jumping under a hose. You need to have the key on you or left in the door as it is always locked. If your visiting friends in another room or just stepping outside your room & the door shuts your locked out.

Check in process was smooth, I checked in later than normal so my key was left in a lockbox with clear instructions. Room was spacious and comfortable. Cleaning staff were friendly. Location was easy to find, close to shops, food, amenities.

The room offers a QR code menu for room service but it was closed every time we tried to use it.

the beds were very comfortable. that’s what you look for when you’re away from home !! Everything you needed was there - iron/ironing board, tv and most importantly aircon.😊

It was well presented and clean. The room had an extra pillow & blanket. I liked that there was a fridge, lovely clean towels, washers & bathmat. I liked that the floors were tiled, and that the room had a good smell.

The room (108) was spacious and had everything required for an overnight stay. It was old but well maintained, and good value for money. It is close to shops and amenities, and the Tavern restaurant had very good steaks.

Some tissues would be good. The rooms could use a refresh, but that is reflected in the price.

Beds were comfortable plenty of space kitchenette facilities were handy

No toilet downstairs. The person in the bed downstairs had to go through the upstairs bedroom area to get to the toilet and shower. Not enough PowerPoints. Would be helpful if there was a folder with instructions for the unit,outdoor facilities and perhaps some tourist info.

location was close to a lot of shops and services and was a busy area so I requested if possible a quite room which was offered to me in the back corner away from a busy tavern which was great. There was restaurants, fast food shops and the tavern itself to eat out at.

Could not fault stay and room for price offered

Staff arranged for the meals with room staff. Everyone offered exceptional service- Angela was a STAR! It is an older establishment. However the room was very clean , the gardens etc were well maintained and the food from the Tavern scrumptious. I thought the price was very reasonable for what I got. Warm friendly place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I like greater water pressure in the shower.

Everything was clean and tidy and what we needed.

Shower cubicle was a little on the small side and water tended to spray out where the door didn’t quite close properly. Tea towel was provided but nothing to wash any dishes with so we could reuse them. The girl in reception when my husband checked in was a little bit off hand and dismissive as if we were being a nuisance.
