I have stayed here previously when it was under another name. Much the same as before but most notable change was installation of security gates on both vehicular entrances and exits. Close to Central Business District facilities even allowing for walking in not needing to carry too much by hand. Room hadn't changed much with new branding and could do with

Room amenities and decor hasn't changed with new branding and could do with a make over. Needs more power outlets to cater for contemporary travelers needs especially in the bathroom where no outlet could be found. Fortunately I travel with my own power boards and leads just in case this situation arises. One power switch was inoperative and its need of repair was mentioned to the manager when I was checking out.

Newly renovated room was clean, modern and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the water in the shower was hot and plentiful, the air conditioner was quiet and maintained the room at a pleasant and comfortable temperature. The room was quiet despite being on a busy road. The room was well equipped with cutlery, crockery, fridge and microwave oven. The manager took the time to show us how the security gates worked and to show us where our room was located.

The security gates for vehicular access were a bit inconvenient to use, but we appreciated the security they offered.

Good central location - walk to shops. Very clean, spacious room with everything needed for o’nt stay. 2 comfortable cane armchairs. Good WiFi. Good lighting. Very secure with code to enter car park.

Official online site said “all units ground floor”. Our Superior Queen Room was allocated upstairs. Another guest offered to swap reservations, so we accepted the standard room (no chocolates). It was worth downgrading to be able to park right at our door. Frig needs repair, so door shelf can be used.

Lovely and clean and quiet, everything was easy to use and there’s plenty of space in the rooms. Comfortable and very nice looking rooms too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was clean. Great place to stay.

The washer and dryer situation, as it was just one washer and one dryer for all the motel guests and it’s a little difficult to get your washing done with other people’s clothes in there.

Bed was super comfy. Generous with supplied items. eg Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Gel. Bathroom is dated but clean but am sure renovations are continuing as most other things have been done. Helpful staff.

Bathroom had some old mildew which we understand will only be removed with renovation. We can see that this is all in progress. Facilities was still super clean.

So many things to like over our 2-night stay. Plates and cutlery, fridge & microwave, spacious room with nice seating and good table, Comfy beds, nice bathroom, lovely shiny concrete floors. Easy walk along the river, and to a lovely pub for a reasonably priced, delicious dinner. Didn't try the pool, but it looked nice. Easy drive to the free amazing zoo and great botanical gardens. Super nice manager- thanks for everything, and for all the tips, Bryan!

Not the prettiest walk to the river along Fitzroy Street , although it's only a few blocks, and the riverwalk itself is very nice.. Meal prep and wash-up is challenging with only the bathroom sink (nothing to be done, there).

Exceptional service with a smile and remembered my last visit of around 2 years ago I asked for a quieter room away from the traffic noise and the gentleman gave me a brand new Exceptional room very quiet I also noticed him being very polite and helpful offering to carry a lady's bags upstairs for her recommendation 💯 %

Price, location, size of the room, well equipped plates, cups, etc and microwave. Big bathroom and spotless. Very clean. Handy to all eateries and close to the city Centre. Parking right out front of the room so easy to unpack and pack in the morning.

Would prefer a full-size ironing board as the little pop up one makes it hard to iron business shirts. More room to put toiletries maybe extra shelving.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was clean and tidy.
