I was very impressed with Sky who checked us in. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful with advice on Italian restaurants nearby and giving us extra milk when requested. The room was lovely with a pretty view out towards the river.

There seemed to be a problem with their wifi. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't as well as being very slow. It certainly wouldn't put us off staying here again though.

The motel was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and Kate (owner) couldn't have been any more helpful. We arrived early but couldn't fit our car under the entry awning. Kate advised us of an alternate entrance. Kate gave us access to our room early as my husband was unwell. She then asked us if we needed anything as she was going into town. The motel was also in a great location with close proximity to town.

Nothing not to like - just don't judge a book by its cover. The building may not look like much but it was well worth our stay here.

The room we were in had a beautiful view out a large window over the park leading down to a pretty creek. Although the hotel has obviously been there a long time it has nice furniture and is clean. It is right on the edge of the town centre so very easy to walk back through the shopping area or to the really nice beer garden close by.

I was very happy with our stay. Great value for money in a very clean older motel room with great views over the park and creek. Very happy to stay here again.

Very clean bathroom in older style room that was both comfortable and had good facilities. Loved the location with big windows with a view of parkland and to a fast-flowing Quart Pot Creek. (Loved the ducks and the flocks of cheeky corellas). Located centrally with easy walking to dining venues, shops etc in Stanthorpe's Main Street. On arrival we were provided with a slip of paper with a list of dining options and relevant telephone contacts with a recommendation to book for evening meal. Loved getting this helpful 'insider' knowledge.

Updated air-conditioner could be more efficient on cool mornings.

The room was well set out, had all the little bits and pieces that you need when you travel that you forget you need, ironing board, hairdryer, etc. Bed was really comfortable and the air conditioner was working a treat.

I would have preferred the door to the room had an additional lock to the key lock, e.g., a door chain. Being in the room at the end of the property which joined to the public nature strip, made me feel a little vulnerable, with out a double lock system.

Bed extra comfy and bathroom very clean and spacious. Skye said our room was quitet even though next to the main thoroughfare of Stanthorpe and she was ab solely correct. We had perfect night's sleeps. We dined at Essen small restaurant and loved it. Essen is very special and the main reason we stay in Stanthorpe.

The wifi didn't connect most of the time and was very weak when it did. We used up a lot of our own data in only 1 1/2 days.

Despite being an older motel it had a : Very clean bathroom Comfortable bed. Was freshly painted.

The room was very clean and tidy, the bed had heaters each side so you could set the temp to suit yourself. It was close to everything which was fantastic.

The staff were a little unsure of if we could park our truck out back despite me asking and choosing the motel because I was told via email it was fine to park out back. When we arrived the front desk attendant was unaware we had trucks and was worried about the council, and us damaging their property. So a little more awareness there would have been good as we spent the night worried about the trucks being there.

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. There was a verandah outside the room which you had to actually walk out and around to and overlooked a park with flowing water which was nice to have coffee or wine. Easy to get around for food.

Would of liked a water jug for the fridge or some free bottled water. A small bottle of washing up detergent and cloth for tidying up after making toast or another coffee or tea.

Very comfortable and well appointed room. Good location. Very helpful staff.
